love this place and really has a home away from home feel!

Supermarkets are in the city center hence far from where we are staying. It is a little inconvenient to carry your shopping all the way back to the rorbuer especially when you have a bridge to climb! I stayed at the unit atop the hill hence there is a flight of stairs leading to our rorbuer which I need to climb. Not at all conducive for big luggages during the winter season!

We liked the cozy living room, the convenience to the airport (only about 9 minutes away!), and the decor of the rorbu. We also loved the wood stove (although there were only two small pieces of wood available). The bed was comfortable. It was a lovely stay for the night

The shower leaked pretty intensely all over the bathroom floor. I also would have loved shampoo/conditioner in the shower, and more wood for the stove than just two small pieces. For the price of the room, it seemed a little strange to be required to do quite a bit of cleaning prior to check out (dishes, trash out, removing all bedding).

The location is just as perfect as possible - easy accessible to all you need: port, center, hiking trail, gas station, car rental and at the same time quite remote from the crowd. Rorbu is a perfect combination of traditional style and modern design. Must stay here if you want to experience traditional Norwegian house. Kitchen is equipped with everything. On site there is a restaurant and floating sauna - great opportunity to relax after a hike. A lot of trail running options as well. Team is great and helpful, always in contact and giving essential info and recommendations.

All is above expectations

We like the location, especially the view of the Fjord from our windows, and the quietness - the hotel stays away from the busy tourists area but in walking distance to everything. The staff on the reception was knowledgeable and polite. The food in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner was amazing. You have to keep in mind to book the table for dinner.

It was unusual that there was no fan in the washroom. But our biggest disappointment was the lack of blackout curtains during the midnight summer sun. It was difficult to fall asleep in the lit bedroom.

Our stay at this property was truly unforgettable. The house offers a unique and peaceful experience, making you feel like a local immersed in nature. It sits right above the water, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Whether we were enjoying breakfast or simply reading by the window, the calming scenery made every moment special. The house was spotlessly clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable - perfect for a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was definitely the floating sauna, which provided a relaxing and memorable experience, unlike anything we've tried before. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. We would absolutely love to return!

The cabin was lovely — cosy, warm, and with really comfortable beds. They provided nice soap for the shower, which was a thoughtful touch. We loved the location and the look of the whole area with the other cabins around. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Dinner options seemed limited, and when we arrived around 4-5pm, no one could tell us the dishes of the day, so we cancelled our table and went into town. Breakfast was very overpriced for what it was — limited selection and not great value, especially when you could get a cappuccino and pastry for half the price. Also noticed a set of rules in the morning stuck to a kitchen wall warning of a fine if you didn’t take out your rubbish and leave bedding and towels by the door. Felt unnecessary and a bit cheeky considering the price of the stay. I wouldn't have noticed it other than because of a quick glance.

cozy room, nice location, friendly staff.

kitchen stuff are not enough. no toaster. no olive oil for cooking, i bought one, used it to cook pasta etc, and left almost entire 1 lt bottle in the room. there is a coffee machine, but no coffee. No napkins or tissues in the kitchen, we had to use toilet paper. You have to buy a lot of things in order to use the kitchen. There is no bath mat towel, when you leave the shower you have to step on the floor with wet feet, not nice.

Great location, clean and spacious apartment. Their staffs were amazing. We arrived after 4pm but did not have an issue checking in. Their staff was really friendly and even suggested an amazing walk before we go for dinner. Dinner was really nice, they even have a course menu which was not on the online menu. The icing on the cake was that they even called Avis to help us check if we can drop off our rented car in the city center (instead of the airport) on a wet and rainy morning. That really made our day as we could then wait more comfortably for the Narvik bus in the city centre instead of by the road near the airport.

Nothing, I would stay there again.

The property is centrally located on Lofoten. The cabin was spacious with two bedrooms and a small living, dining and kitchen area. Property was clean. We were able to park close to the set of cabins right on the water. Beautiful views and 2.5 hrs away from Å.

Property was more of an Airbnb than a hotel. Provided minimal items for the kitchen. Had to buy some essentials like salt and paper towels. Also had to clean the property and leave sheets and towels by door. Not a big deal, but definitely not a hotel. There was a consistent smell of sewer gases coming from one bathroom. This is very American of me but a TV would have been nice to have in the room. Especially for extreme weather days.

Each accommodation we stayed in on our Norway trip was nice but this was one of the best! Lovely, comfortable, clean, cute rorbuer; we received a free upgrade to a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom cabin! The furniture and bathrooms were very tasteful and luxury. You could see that a lot of thought was put into furnishing the place. The kitchen was very well equipped. The view from the living room and bedroom was a dream come true. We could not have asked for more, thank you very much for everything!
