The bathroom is spaceous. Everything was very nice, clean, tidy. We had a coffee/cappuchino...hot water machine in the corridor and tea free of charge 24/7. Very good location, 150m from bus, ferry, shops. If you like fishing or chasing the Northern Aurora Borealis, you can find easily dark places to watch by walking to the nearest pier and you have good view to the entire fjord and the mountains, or if you like to walk around 15-20min you can climb up the road to Lyngen, at the top of the hill and to find there nice, dark places to watch the Auroras. Nice, peaceful place where I felt very relaxed and safe.

Breakfast was prepared at 7:00, Even if it was served at 8:00 as normal. Very good service!!

Close, roomy, clean, restaurant looked nice, owners were nice and helpful. Free coffee is good. Amenaties were simple but adequate. So initial impression was positive.

The staff. The 1 staff member made me feel unwelcome and a burden. The coffee automates were not maintained so there waa no milk and or schocolate drink then he turned off the machine in the morning ! No breakfast over booking.com included ! I then had to pay immediately on asking and treated like some thief. Asking about the avalanches and when the road would ne free resulted in a unhelpful surly attitude. Another customer said the same thing, his behavior was unprofessional lazy and unfriendly. The rooms walls are very thin. You hear everything from the other rooms like you are all together. So a dissappointmet based on the 1 employee in charge, as said the owners themselves were in fact nice, friendly and helpful.

The room itself was comfortable and modern. Also, there was a Montenegrin woman who was very sweet and tried to make our experience positive and if she’d been there the whole time, my review might be different. My understanding is that she is not an employee and was simply helping out that night.

When we arrived, two men (the one employee and the owner) seemed surprised and just stared at us. They didn’t introduce themselves until we said we were checking in. Once we checked in they charged us for dinner which turned out to be a few spoonfuls of soup, some fish with undercooked, unseasoned potatoes and carrots, and a slice of ice cream cake. We tried to ask for water and the one male employee kept saying the ‘water is bad’ but he offered no alternative. It’s unacceptable that a hotel and ‘restaurant’ doesn’t have drinking water for guests. In the morning, the breakfast was two hard boiled eggs and cold cuts. We paid $160 for our two meals. The employee asked if we want to have dinner and breakfast for the second half of our stay and we declined. He seemed offended and we basically didn’t see him the rest of the day. He locked us out of the main hotel area which housed the other coffee machine and in which we were supposed to have access to a sitting area. The description online promised a coffee machine but the one by our room wasn’t operational and, we were locked out of the main hotel where the other machine was. When I messaged about the machine, the one employee came to fix it but was obviously annoyed. In the evening we went looking for coffee or hot chocolate at the machine again and this time they were all off. The employee was sitting having drinks with the owner and when I said I wanted to use the coffee machine he said I couldn’t use the coffee machine because the water is bad and offered no alternative. He then reminded me that we were supposed to check out in the morning and where to leave the key. The morning of check out, again I had no access to water or coffee, and the main lobby was locked so there was no one to ask. If they aren’t going to provide service, they shouldn’t open their doors to guests during the low season. They seemed mostly inconvenienced to have us there.
