Breakfast is really good, Rooms are big. Gym could be bigger but is enough

Rooms were not cleaned / prepared every day. Anyway is a really good hotel to stay in.

Comfortable and quiet, the room was a good size and clean the chair at the desk was comfortable to sit at, the shower was well designed and water did not leak over the rest of the floor. The quick response when ordering a taxi was also appreciated.

The first thing you see as you walk into room 607 is a damaged table with the top laminate missing at the edges - not a great first impression. The breakfast was not as good as I expect from Scandic - It was adequate but not fabulous. As a final whinge - the coffee/tea making gubbins provided should be checked and filled up regularly, there is not much point providing a kettle if you can't make the coffee as there is no spoon or sugar.

The rooms are very spacious. We had 2 rooms and both were very large. Think USA size. The girls at the front desk go above and beyond. You just don't get service like that in the states anymore. They serve the biggest breakfast buffet. If you cant find something to eat at it, you are a difficult person. The location is walking distance to everything. Train, bus station, the downtown shops. Everything is close. There are even 2 grocery stores and a car rental within a block.

We stayed for 14 days. They only changed our bedding/sheets once.

Bus stop and train station opposite to the hotel Breakfast had a good spread, lots of varieties and it's open from 6-11 am The reception staff (Maja and Amalia) were very welcoming and gave all the information about the nearby attractions Housekeeping staff also cleaned the room on daily basis Supermarket is next to hotel, lots of restaurants at 500 metre distance If I visit Stavanger again, I will definitely stay in this hotel

Only suggestion would be to change the breakfast menu daily

Hotel room was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner; hair drier, tv). Location was exactly, very near the city center (and train/bus terminals) with good options for grocery shopping and restaurants within a short walk. Staff were polite and check in was quick and hassle free. Breakfast was well served, with plenty of options (including some local delicacies, such as Norwegian waffles and brunost)

The location of this hotel is great, you can walk to the quay from there where there are many restaurants. Our room was clean and spacious with beautiful views. During our check-in (in the evening shift) the girl in the reception was extremely helpful and kind, she was all the time smiling, and she gave us some good advice about where to go.

Our spare bed was really uncomfortable. We couldn't turn off the air conditioning which made two of my friends a little sick the next morning. On the other hand, the vegan breakfast options were not very good. Finally, we would like to add that the two girls at the reception desk in the morning shift were not cooperative at all and we did not like how they treated us.

Very nice breakfast with lots of options, nice personel. They offered an ice cream to the children as a welcome and also offers everybody croisants in a day time. The hotel provide you a map, leaflests of the attractions in a city. There is s stove for a taxi vompany and the staff orders you a taxi if you ask. Good wifi, nice shower. Very good location, close to the bus station. You can reach most of cities attractions by foot.

We stayed in a room for 4 people and the sofa (second bed) with all the iron constructions did not look safe for the small children and it was squeeky, less comfortable than the main bed. Even though the cleaning services was provided everyday (if you want), the people who work there not always did a good job.

The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good too, with lots of options. I particularly appreciated that a wide range of gluten-free options were available.

There was no 'do not disturb' sign in the room, and on our last morning one of the cleaning staff unlocked our room while I was in the shower. Maybe they should wait until after check-out time?

Good location- near to the port, public transportation and downtown. Buses to Preikestolen and airport are in a 1 min walk. Overall had a good experience- clean, silent, comfortable. Nice team, very helpful and always smiling. Also it's very rare for hotel to offer two rooms in one. As a family we were glad to have separate rooms in our 'apartment'.
