Great place, in the heart of Stavanger. 1 min to oldtown and 1 min. to the restaurants. Very clean, modern, inlucing all kitchen equipment and devices. Ease to access. The bus station to Sola Airport is just in front of apartment.

Changing of the towels should be included in the price of the apartment, because 750-1000 Kr for this service is to many.

We rented 4 apartments at Sea Story for three nights. The apartments were easily accessible using codes. They are centrally located on the harbor and are easy walking distance from the downtown area, shops, restaurants, bars, museums and historic sites. The apartments were clean, comfortable, and we had people sleeping on the pull out couches in two of the apartments. Three of the apartments faced the harbor and provided excellent views. We also had a rental car and there is a parking garage nearby. Great option for the cost.

The noise. There are boats right outside the window of the apartments facing the harbor that are moving in the early morning hours (midnight, 2am, 5am) so headphones are needed. I also tried to contact the property manager regarding questions during our stay (how to to use the TVs) and did not receive a response.

We stayed in 2 different apartments over 3 nights - a 2 bed apartment on the 3rd floor which we liked despite not having a sea view. Sometimes hard to contact staff but they were very helpful when we got through. Great location and worked perfectly for our young family as they provided us with 2 cots and upper floors are accessible by lift for pushchairs etc.

We booked an additional night last minute in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor and this was unbearably hot with only one fan. It's such a shame as the apartment itself is beautiful but the bathroom and bedrooms were so hot that my children couldn't sleep and we had a really bad night.

Excellent property. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (402) with wonderful views (especially at sunset) over the fjord. Make sure you book an apartment at the rear of the building for these views, otherwise you'll be looking over the street. Spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped, full of light. Very close to the historic centre of Stavanger. The office was very responsive to our queries. Thank you. On spec we took a ferry (directly outside the property) to Vassøy Island (20 minute crossing) for a lovely afternoon walk.

The location was perfect. Next to a well connected bus stop (e.g. Sverd i Fjell). Next to an Airport bus stop. Just uproad from the Oil museum. Next to the pier to Flor & Fjære. A short walk to the centre. Food shops and bakery's across the road. The waterbus stop being just next to the apartment doesn't mean it's noisy.

The information concerning entrance code did not come in time. Even after we were back home I got another mail with information about how I would be getting my entrance code and the time when the room would be available. I expect more accuracy in this from a company that does everything through the internet. We had to call the - very accessible - helpline and even get some help from the cleaners that were still in the building when we arrived 15 minutes later than the latest time at which we should have gotten the entrance code. But it all worked out fine within a few minutes.

The location is great overall, the placement, the cleanliness, the design, the furniture. Comfortable bed, free Netflix, fully equipped kitchen. Very easy check in and check out, good communication with the host. Very close to the Flybuss bus stop and also to other bus stops. Also very warm and cozy, all in all. I really recommend this beautiful location!

I would have wanted a room with a sea view and I thought that all rooms have a sea view, but unfortunately mine was oriented to the street. So try to communicate this in advance. Also, be aware that, if you need an invoice and you have booked via Booking, the property can only issue an invoice 10-15 days after check out.

Amazing place to stay! We are group of family (6 people) and booked 2 triple rooms. The building and the rooms are new and well organized. There is 1 bedroom and 1 sofa bed (ready to sleep - they already make the sofa to bed for us). They use the key code instead of key card which is convenient for us. There is also good bathroom, beautiful kitchen and dining area. One of our room got the sea view and it's really nice. There is also elevator which is suitable for traveler with big luggage. We can easily access to public washing machine and garbage. The supermarket (KIWI and Narvesen) and bus stop are nearby and easily to walk to. We enjoy our stay!

The staff is a bit busy so they is not responsive to our message. We requested for late check out with extra charge and got really delay reply. We have already paid the extra charge in the link they provided but they did not manage the room to be late check out on time (the room key code is reset and we cannot get into the building and room. - Luckily, housekeepers are nearby and supportive. They requested to see payment evidence and help us to get in.) The luggage storage are not in the same building. It is in the main office which is a bit far from the building we stay and difficult for us to go there with 6 large luggages so we managed to request for the late checkout instead. Other than this, everything is really nice and we recommend this place to stay in Stavanger!

easy to enter the appartment, received a code for the door. The apartment was excellent

The big problem was... the payment. Normally Booking charges me, but here "the host will charge you when entering the apartment". But the whole check-in procedure was done via internet, no problem at all. The first day received a call, the payment was not done, but, she should send me a link. No link received in my E-mail. Next day I was horrible attached by a guy, big talk if I should NOT pay... But I still did not receive the link. Later spoke to a very friendly lady (totally opposite of the guy) and she said I had to look in the notifications on the Booking site (where nobody ever looks), and there was the payment link. Strange that normally you get all the notifications, also from this apartment, via E-mail, but this one not. A lot of frustrations.... but the apartment is great

The location was excellent- only a short walk into the old town and close to the ferry port. It was a great base for our stay and we had good communication with the management team to gain access late at night.

A minor point - The window blinds required remote controls to open and close them and these were not charged or a cable supplied to charge them.

The apartment was amazing, very spacious, comfortable and modern, with stunning views. It is in a great location, handy for shops, harbour and museums. It was well equipped and instructions for internet were clear.

There was nothing to fault. There was one guest in the next room who came back very drunk and disturbed us, but not a massive issue.
