The lobby was stunning. My room was extremely nice and quite comfortable. The food /drink I had at the bar was outstanding

A new building, everything is fresh. Strange windows in the room, if you keep it open to get some air in the summer heat, you will have the Trondheim rain coming into the room. Breakfast was superior. The staff was very helpful when we requested a room change. the walk into Trondheim Centre is worth noting as negative, this used to be the dock area, and it's a brief 1km walk into town. Good parking space, but let the car stay there, it will cost you 295nok/day, but calculated each time you drive out of the building. The hotel can not do anything about this practice as its run by the city.

Nothing to mention really, the only negative is the distance to town and the calculation of parking expense, which is NOT free for hotel guests.

Sweet and helpful staff! I was able to prolong my check out from 11:00 to 13:00 without having to pay anything extra. And breakfast was really good! A lot of options - I counted 8 tables of food and 2 for drinks. Due to the carpets, the noise wasn't an issue despite several people eating at the same time as I was.

The bathroom seemed to have a clogged pipe somewhere - the water from the tub started to spill onto the floor when I attempted to drain it unless you kept the plug just barely ajar to slow down the water flow. Of course, this solution only came to me after I had stuffed the outside drain (funnily enough placed on the side of the built-in tub just above the floor) with a spare towel. There was a nice puddle on the bathroom floor for a bit until the water had emptied, haha.

The view to the harbour and yachts is nice. Room is comfortable and spacious as compared to other hotels in Norway at similar price level. The best part is the breakfast buffet. Wide choices of quality food and drinks that need to be there early to take time to enjoy. Staff are generally helpful and friendly.

On the day we arrived early in the morning, the front desk lady on duty gave me a smirking face when I approached. I did understand there's no way we can check in that early. We just come in to ask for luggage storage. Maybe I got the luggage room direction wrong, sure this lady should have noticed me heading the wrong way but haven't calling me back. And when I got back and asked again, she replied impatiently.

Super comfy beds, excellent breakfast. Quiet when the windows were kept closed. (No big deal, since the hotel is facing all of the following: The main station; the main station’s cargo facilities; the cruise pier; the commercial harbour; and the Hurtigruten pier.) Not right in the center of Trondheim, but easily within walking distance.

Our room was a bit smaller than other rooms we had in Norway.

The hotel has a nice location, not exactly the city center but very close to it. Quiet area without any noise from traffic and bars. Good breakfast with rich selection. Convenient underground parking. It was warm in the my room.

Parking costs 320NOK per day which is way too expensive and makes the whole deal of staying in this hotel much less attractive. Would be nice if the hotel offered some discount at least. The original room I was given was not properly cleaned, I found used Corona rapid test kit in the bathroom trash bin. Asked to change the room and got upgraded to a bigger nicer room which was also clean. So, the staff handled the situation well, but still, such things shouldn't happen. The hotel should take proper cleaning of the rooms more seriously. Although the cantina offered really good selection for breakfast, I found food a bit tasteless and plain. Still, it'll definitely get you going for the day.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming & helpful. The staff attitude make up for any possibly negatives experienced! Extensive breakfast to cater for many tastes. Room was well appointed.

Although situated close to the sea there is no unobstructed sea view as there is a large building in front of the hotel rooms facing the sea. The floor in our room was clean overall but corners were missed. spotlessly clean, not a major issue as we were only there for 1 night. Roof top bar has limited food & wine menu.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices catering for all preferences. The room was clean and well equipped and sufficient in size for 3 adults.

Although our booking was specific for 3 adults and the hotel even confirmed in a follow-up mail that our double/queen and single bed preference is confirmed, the room only had a double/queen bed when we arrived. We had to contact reception to rectify the oversight.

I loved the hotel design, our room was huge and the breakfast was amazing

The service unfortunately wasn’t matching the rest of the great experience. when we arrived the staff wanted us to pay again.. but we had already paid everything in advance. I also wrote a message the day before to the hotel describe how we should have divided us into the 3 rooms we booked. we were 7 people in total. they answered that it was ok but when we arrived, they wanted us to pay for an extra bed.. which we did not do.

The staff really went out of their way to organize and assist wherever possible. The breakfast here was amazing. The hotel made a food parcel for my very early flight.

As I understand work is being done on the gym. I did not notice anything mentioned about this. Arrangements were made at a nearby facility. I was on a very tight travel schedule and also in am intense prt of my training program so this was very inconvenient. The power tripped in my room, there are no telephones and so you have to walk to reception to report this. Staff were very responsive
