Rooms as well as other parts of hostel were clean. Staff was super friendly, they explained everything clearly. Well equipped kitchen, 2 toilets and a shower and free coffee and tea! Location is also good, 2 min to bus stop, 5 min to grocery and restaurants. Good quality for low price. I totally recommend it.

The Hostel was very nice. The Kitchen extremly well equiped and the bed very comfortable! The location is about a 20 minutes walk from the center, but in an area in which me a s a female solo traveller felt very safe.

The location of this hotel is not in the center, you have to walk up on the hill with luggages, or you can use public transport (I did not), but the view is amazing. It worth it to go up, to see the whole city, bay, sunset and everything. And it’s in a quiet part of Trondheim, but still close to everything. It was about 15-20 min walk to me from the train station to this place with luggages, but I walked slowly to find the correct way, and a few times I stopped to take photos. You can leave your luggage in a storage for free before and after check in, and there were coffee and tea in the kitchen you can use before check in time. I saw a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, oven… etc, well equiped kitchen. The bathroom was big and clean, the rooms/beds looked the same on the pictures. My program finnished late in the night and I had to left at about 3 am, because of my early flight, so I did not try the bed. I don’t know if it’s comfortable or not, but it looked good and smell fresh and clean. The receptionists I meet there were nice and friendly and helpfull. Anyway I am happy to return here one day and try the bed.

There was a locker for your bags, but there was no padlock for it. Maybe I could ask for it at the reception, but I didn’t. It’s better if you bring one with you, just in case.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hostel! The women’s dorm was clean, cozy, and felt safe. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere was calm, and the other guests were kind and respectful — perfect for a peaceful rest. I was pleasantly surprised to find shampoo provided in the shower — such a thoughtful touch! Also, the location is great — many main attractions are within a 20–30 minute walking distance. I really appreciated that tea and coffee were available for free in the kitchen. There were even some shared food items in the fridge, and it was easy to store your own things with labeled bags. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of useful utensils — even an oven was available! The staff were friendly and helpful, although they weren’t always present at the reception. You could call them via a button, though it would’ve been nice to have more visible presence at times. Overall, a great and safe place for women travelers. I would definitely stay here again! 💛

One thing that startled me a bit was the unexpected test alarm — it would have been better to receive a message beforehand, especially since no staff were at the reception at that moment (though some guests in the common area seemed aware).

The room was spacious and clean, so were the common kitchen area (next to the rooms) and the bathroom. I didn't use the common kitchen downstairs, but anytime I passed it, it looked lively and a good place to hang out. My room was comfy and had the basics of everything I needed.

It would have been lovely to have tea/coffee available in the common kitchens but I understand that this may not be feasible. It would have also been nice to have hand towels in the bathroom, but those are really just minor details.

Location was perfect, next to Ec Dahls arena Free morning coffe and tea, excelent Reception lady was super

It was not perfectly clean outside room, like stairs, coridors Room was clean Kitchen was a bit messy, but it doesnt depend of hostel stuff, but other people who uses also kitchen 🙂 and comon showers/wc was a bit dirty with papers on floor(but that depends on other people who stay there ) And renovation work for hostel fassade-they started work at 7 in mooorning and made a lot of noise, so we could sleep long after concert 🥹 But that is not hostel fault

I like the style, and design. An owner made really good job and had some really good ideas. I especially liked a set of bottles with little plants hanging by the window in a dining room and a hand shaped chair.

The only improvement I'd add is to make a ladder to upper bed more comfortable for bare feet. A ladder, that is right now is good for kids - they're light and they may not feel their own weight, stomping on the ladder bars, yet a full grown person weights much more and a 15 mm wide bar is absolutely not enough. Plus a ladder should be a separate construction, a bit distanced from a bed and sloped, for comfort and safety.

I went for a walk to see the Cathedral, passed along the riverbank with a marvellous view, beautiful houses, very outstanding architecture. There was also a public transport stop very close by, Buran, which I used to get to NTNU.

The only negative comment I've noticed about the hostel has nothing to do with the hostel, but with human beings. Unfortunately, someone made use of food that I had left with my name clearly marked on it. But you have to separate things. This has to do with the human condition, selfish, petty and false. I'm criticising the human being who was dishonest, not Hostel

Quiet location with a nice view of the city. Clean room and friendly staff. Warm blankets. Free tea/coffee and nice common room/eating area. Spacious kitchen you can use and fridges to store your food.

The ladder to get to the top bed was not very easy to climb on. And the one leading to my bed was literally behind the door - when is someone coming in and you are climbing at the same time, they will hit you with the door.. And l had no electricity socket l could reach from the bed.
