So this was a tricky one. I don't normally write reviews. We had already stayed in Bergen, Flam, Oslo and had been SO impressed by the staff at each of those hotels, (because its staff that ensure the places are clean, and welcoming etc). So I don't particularly want to write a 4th review. However we owe it to the staff at this hotel. Once again superb - Lucas in particular - just could not be more professional, attentive etc. This from someone who can be very critical. The hotel is excellently located (the airport bus stops immediately outside), it is close to the old town and the trendy eatery area. The hotel is well kitted out given the room price. But - again it all comes down to the staff. Just very professional, generous with time and support. Hugely impressed.
The hotel is not a super luxury five start hotel - but for what it is - it would be difficult to be better, Oh. It doesn't have a restaurant - but not a problem. Lots within five minute walk.

Nicely designed hotel with modern decor. Excellent location.
The hotel provides no information on parking. There is a parking garage next to the hotel, from what I read in other reviews, $90 per day to park on the first floor and $30 per day on the floors above this. When we arrived there was construction in the parking garage with parking limited to the first two floors, which were filled. The next closest parking is across the bridge at the Radisson hotel, we paid $48 per 24-hours, a 10 minute walk, not bad. The hotel staff seemed unconcerned or willing to help with parking recommendations. Room was small, but clean.

This was a one-night stay prior to my flight back the next day and I wanted to spend a few hours in Trondheim. The location of this hotel, with linked pay-on-exit car parking, was absolutely ideal for that. It's just a 10-15 minute walk from the centre and actually also very close to the Midtbyrunden walking loop, an excellent route for anyone with just a few hours to spare. The hotel itself was exactly what I expected from this chain. Professional staff able to help in good English, extensive and high-quality breakfast choices, a spacious room (albeit with a limited view in my case) with good, comfortable facilities. My room had an excellent TV, shower room and bed. I noticed a gym, although I didn't use it. The hotel would certainly be a good choice for a two- or three- night stay for anyone looking to visit the various city attractions, and a car would not be essential. Links to public transport are close by. After checking out of the room, I left my hire car in the car park until early afternoon so as to gain some more walking time before heading to the airport. That was much more convenient than having to move the car. I would definitely use the hotel again.
The car park is a separate entity managed by a different company, so make sure you've included the costs in your planning. It wasn't the easiest to find as the one-way arrangements for the local area may have changed since my hire car's satnav was fitted! I might have struggled if I'd not studied Google Street View before travelling.

Exsellent front office staff, good value for money facilities and a very pleasant property. The location was right at the center of the town and perfectly placed for walks around the town. The breakfast options were also good and tasty. I forget the name of the man at front office but he was ever smiling and obliging to my requests. Very very fast and speedy resolutions to my requests. I asked for a one hour late checkout and he instantaneously did it - not that it's difficult but I know some hotels in other towns who have not obliged even this smallish request. Overall amazing exsellent staff and a great facility
Check in is at 4pm - too late I feel / it should be atleast 2pm

The breakfast has a good selection including lactose free drinks. The staff had helped me with everything I asked about, including when I burned myself on the steam of the iron I was given fire gel for my finger. Since we were on the top floor we discovered an exercise room and ice machine we had not seen or used before. Each time we stay we have a new nice view of the city. The cleaning staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well.
I wish there were hooks both in the rooms (we have stayed here several times) and in the ironing room to hang things up.

Excellent service particularly from a couple of the staff including Luka and another male staff member whose name we didn't catch but he helped us on Thursday 13 March at 8:30am, he was working on the concierge desk. Please ensure both these staff members are given our compliments. Also our compliments to the staff who serviced breakfast, as they were very attentive and friendly.
Nothing that comes to mind.

Nice location Great buffet breakfast
Thought the family room was two double beds as stated on my confirmation but it was two king singles together and bunk beds and our bathroom was a disability access room. Room was fine for the two nights we stayed and location was easy for walking places and the AirPort Express Flybus stops right outside. You could hire umbrellas and power charging banks and there were electric scooters and also bicycles right outside front to hire.

Fantastic location — we had view of river from our room, and most important areas of city were easily walkable. Bed was very comfortable. Nice room. Breakfast was wonderful! Staff extremely helpful. Very clean. Airport express bus, which runs every 15 minutes, stops directly in front of hotel and is very easy to use. We were completely satisfied and would definitely return.
No complaints.

Excellent sound-proofing, super comfortable beds, everything clean and comfy. Very nice and helpful staff (warned us about the extreme parking costs and how to alleviate them somewhat) and good breakfast. I guess you can’t do much better, location-wise, in Trondheim.
Expensive, parking in the garage can be extremely expensive (900 kr per night) if you aren’t lucky and told by staff that you need to park in the third floor of the garage to reduce the cost to about 300 kr per night.

Excellent location and excellent breakfast! I didnt like the carpet in the room and being right on a central street, it was quite loud on Friday and Saturday night (people going to nearby bars and clubs) (We were on the 3rd floor, perhaps it was less noisy at higher floors (?) But overall I liked it and I would book again
Breakfast on weekends starts at 7:30 which is a bit late for people catching early flights; we were really sorry to miss our last breakfast for our 9:30 AM flight
