I booked a family room all to myself and that was one of the best places I’ve ever been at. It was almost a studio, clean and comfortable, even with a balcony and a very nicely decorated bathroom (I loved its wall and floor tiles!). The kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, stove top, microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine, and I was provided with a big basket full of kitchenware and cleaning products. Breakfast was varied with a wide offer of both hot and cold options, which was perfect for a good day start. Location is central and the area is served my several bus lines and even the tram to the forest. And last but not least: free coffee and cookies were available in the lobby all the time. The receptionists I met were all very nice and friendly.

Nothing really. It was a pleasant stay at a hotel I will definitely come back should I have the chance to visit beautiful Trondheim again in the (hopefully near) future.

The location was excellent as it was so close by and accessible to the town centre and historical and other sites. Also wrt the location it was really good regarding access to the road network in and out of town. The staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely laid out with nice design touches. The breakfast was also very extensive and enjoyed.

I had a hire car, and hotel does not have on-site parking. That said, parking on street is possible (at a cost) and there is a nearby parking garage for long term parking which is positive.

Friendly welcome and BIG generous breakfast. Very welcome. Location was also convenient and seemed quiet and safe. Also welcome.

Sadly, this place suffers from the common disease of “one small thin pillow per person”. Is this a prison? Come on! A couple of nice big pillows make ALL THE DIFFERENCE to comfort and feeling of luxury. Also, it just wouldn’t be hard to be clearer about parking. Where exactly is it? How do you in there? And most importantly, what do you do if you arrive after it shuts in the evening!

Nice room, good bed. Bathroom was of decedent size and shower was good. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to shopping centre, groceries, and the hospital (where we were going). Free tea/coffee, and good choice in breakfast.

It’s a bit tricky to find parking, when not familiar in the city. Lots of one way streets around the hotel area so we drove about for a bit to find a way out, and ended up finding parking just across the street from the hotel 🙈

Across the street from Nidarosdomen and a short walk to almost anything in downtown Trondheim. Good breakfast, although the logistics of the buffet mad congestions especially around the bread. We got upgraded to a bigger room which was lucky as the one we got was not too big.

Having the room phasing Prinsens gate the traffic light signals (green man) was heard long in to the night. The beer was in the reception bar was ridiculously expensive but I should have known better....

Excellent location only a short distance from the cathedral and easy walking access to the places of interest in Trondheim. Cheerful welcome on arrival and and very nice buffet breakfast which includes hot food.

Not really the fault of the hotel but we caught a parking ticket in a nearby street. No such thing as free parking in Norway. Make sure you use a car park where charging ends at 8.00 pm otherwise you will pay a bundle. There is one less than 10 mins from the hotel.

The location was excellent (close to the cathedral, restaurants, and Bakklandet). The price was good considering the great location. Breakfast was good. The staff are nice. They honored my request for a quiet room (top floor not overlooking the busiest street), though we did not get an inner courtyard view which was on my reservation printout. The one-bedroom unit we stayed in had a small fridge and microwave oven. They have food to buy in the lobby (handy for people who arrive late). They have laundry and ironing rooms that guests can use, though you have to ask for access at the reception desk. The closest parking garage DOES take American credit cards (some parking machines in Norway do not). You can pay for parking there right before you leave (the machine is on the second floor down, which is where you should also park).

No bathmat or face cloths. No cutlery in their so-called kitchenette, so we used our own. (You might be able to borrow some at the reception desk.) The microwave oven sits on a stool that is too small for it. They should provide a small, sturdy table. They call their coffee table a dining table, which it is not. Water leaked from the shower area onto the bathroom floor, so we had to use up some of our paper towels to wipe the floor. The shower temperature kept varying somewhat. The bed was firmer than I liked, though I usually prefer a softer-than-average bed so most people would probably find it comfortable. The white, opaque shade on the window didn't block much light. The room was warmer than I liked in the evenings (though perfect in the mornings).

A bit harder to figure out how to reach it by car, but once you are there you are all set. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The room was nice, although small. Bed was comfortable too. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. They offer variety of food, even oatmeal and chia seeds, soaked from previous day. It is right in the center of the city, and you can walk to some of the attractions nearby.

I love the breakfast buffet with so many options of food :) I also love the location, is very close to Nidaros Church and easy to walk anywhere downtown Trondheim. Our room was spacious and comfortable to travel with a baby. The separate room gave our baby it’s own dark, quite space to sleep while us parents watched a movie and had food in the living room :)

The bathrooms were ok, maybe a bit old and need a little modern touch. There was no electric outlet. I couldn’t fix my hair.

Amply supplied breakfast. Liked the small balcony off the room. Room very well appointed, with good, functional bath, though the twin beds are typical Norwegian where you think you will fall off. They have a nice gym and lounge area.

They advertise parking if you reserve it. However, it is very tight, getting into the garage and parking. Would not recommend if you have a larger vehicle.
