the breakfast selection was outstanding, fresh and with options for all tastes. The best hotel breakfast in Norway several years on the trot, I was informed.

Room felt a little out of the way, down some stairs, thought conference center back up two floor and end of a corridor. I would have like to gone up the stairs to my room, but the route by stairs was nor clear I got lost trying so have to double back at take the lift.

As per everyone else - very very good breakfast. Comfortable bed and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Didn't eat in restaurant but seemed busy with good looking food, bar nice too. Perfect location with all of trondheim in walking distance

Rooms are a little dated and would benefit from a refresh however, they were clean, everything worked and well serviced each day. Would have benefitted from a safe in the room, a stocked minibar and I found the BBC news channel had no visuals but functioning audio.

Not known for the Best Breakfast in Norway for nothing! A wonderful feast to get you started for the day. Room too was excellent and clean, however access was disappointing. (See below.)

Our room was a good 5 minutes walk and a lift ride away from reception, seemed to be in some sort of annex only accessed through the business meeting area. Although we were hotel guests, we received numerous "funny looks" when walking through this area in shorts and T-shirts. If I were with a business using this area, I would have been very perplexed too! A strange arrangement.

They definitely deserve the name of having the best breakfast :) A big hotel, we were in the "other" building, which makes it not as comfortable

To get to our room we need to take the lift down from the lobby, have quite a walk to the "other" building and then take the other lift.... not the end of the world but with all our language it was a hassle

The breakfast is legendary! And for good reason. From fresh juices to smoked salmon, pastries, bacon and eggs, even a barista! Also, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the location is splendid by the river and footbridge.

The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. We got in really late and they gave us a late check out, and when we check out they help us get a taxi for 5 people. Breakfast is excellent. Main reason to book this hotel.

No room service

We had an overnight stay on our way north and stayed here because we had heard great reviews about the breakfast. It exceeded our expectations, even after we already knew it was highly recommended. Fresh homemade paté, hummus, salsa and other vegan sauces, pancakes, waffles, jam, smoothie, juices... We also had a dessert in the evening which was also very good (we had eaten with friends much earlier on) It's one of the more expensive places to stay, but the breakfast experience definitely made it worthwhile for us to stay here before continuing our drive north.

Breakfast marvellous, staff exellente, cleaing very good. Situation perfect! We loved the stay!!

The weather, hahaha, but we loved the hotel, the town and the event!

My partner has back pain and has troubles sleeping, but the bed was so comfy that both me and him had the best nights sleep we've ever had! (even with the stress of traveling to Trondheim for a wedding). I had to email the staff after the stay to ask what bed it was so that we can get it for ourselves.

Amazing breakfast, perfect location close to all city sights and the train station

The Internet connection was quite poor, and having a sauna in such a big hotel could be really a feature
