Exceptional Stay at Citadines Cebu City! I had the pleasure of staying at Citadines Cebu City for four nights, and it far exceeded my expectations—even outshining a nearby 4-star hotel I recently stayed at. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of amazing. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Cebu City, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Despite being centrally located, the hotel manages to maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were outstanding: spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The kitchenette and dining area added a level of convenience that made me feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sleek design details gave the space a chic and welcoming vibe. The amenities were just as impressive. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool was a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious options, and the restaurant staff ensured a pleasant dining experience. What truly made the stay exceptional was the service. The staff at Citadines Cebu City went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Their friendly, professional demeanor and genuine care set a new standard for hospitality. The location is excellent, very central with restaurants, ATMs, convenience stores on the premises (Baseline Centre) and many more at 5 minutes walk away. There is a metred-taxi rank just outside the hotel. Good sized room, plenty of storage space. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows. There is a nice Gym.

Breakfast was poor for vegetarians but they tried to have usually one item (eg cheese frittata). There is no laundry in this hotel, which is a serious drawback - the nearest public laundry is 0.5km away and takes 2 days to return the wash.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. At first we thought the breakfast buffet wasn't really good, but after we travelled for a while in the Philipines we can say it was the best we had. (Some food was already cold and a lot of food was gone and not replaced). But there was plenty of choice and again, better than all the other places we visited. In the area are some good restaurants and a 7eleven which is convenient.

There are just a few sunbeds and no parasols. Some food at breakfast was not replaced soon enough. Some food was already cold.

Clean and spacious rooms , friendly and helpful staff , good location . The rooftop pool is amazing , and the cappuccino too .

The hotel is not able to call a taxi for you cause they have a contract with the tour partner in the ground floor . I think to call a taxi for a guest should be the standard for a business hotel .

The rooms were great and were serviced daily. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good buffet with plenty of variety. The pool was great. The bar at the pool was very decent. The gym was great. The location and shops/restaurants within walking distance (less than 1km) were great. A really really good choice for a family hotel. A nice touch was there was always a door attendant who would open the front glass door for you and greet you with a smile and a hello. Made everyone feel welcome.

For a family hotel (ie had a kitchenette) it wasn't bad at all. The only possible complaint is that you could hear people in the corridor. It was very hard to be unhappy with the stay. Possibly there wasn't lots of chairs at the pool but there was plenty - it would only be an issue if many people came to the pool at the same time.

Truly the best place to stay in Cebu. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff is the biggest highlight, very welcoming all the way from ground floor to reception and housekeeping. Always helpful and attend to each request super fast. One of us got sick and had to go to hospital during our stay, hotel medical team came right away, very helpful, they organized a transfer to hospital and followed up on our condition for the next few days - great follow up, especially Michael from reception! They have good pool (just the water was too cold for us), gym and the restaurant for breakfast had very good choice compared to all other places we’ve stayed in Cebu. Citadines Cebu City provided a very enjoyable stay overall. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. I especially appreciated their quick response when I encountered an issue with a noisy AC generator. While the problem thankfully resolved itself, it did highlight a slight weakness in the hotel's sound isolation. As someone sensitive to noise, I felt this could be improved, both in terms of general noise from outside and potential disturbances from the building's systems. The breakfast buffet was a nice spread with a good variety of options to suit different tastes.

Despite the minor noise concerns, I would still recommend Citadines Cebu City for its good service, comfortable accommodations, nice pool and satisfying breakfast.

- Really nice rooms with dope views - Acaba attached restaurant is super good. The free breakfast is HUGE and very good - Dining room chairs are SUPER comfortable - SUPER nice pool. Fast WiFi, good R&B music, like $3 cocktails, great views - Easy to bring visitors back

- No room service food :( - My room wasn't ready until after 6pm - WiFi in the hallways is bad - Elevators are pretty slow - The coffee provided by the hotel is not good. But the espresso drinks at Acaba are solid. - Hair dryer did not work in the bathroom outlet. But worked in the other outlets. - Honestly a little too much furniture in the apartment. I don't need 3 desk surfaces and 2 TVs. Feels a bit claustrophobic. - Open bathroom door blocks your ability to stand directly in front of sink. Have to shut it to stand at the sink. - In-unit drying machine was completely ineffective. I ran it for 7 hours and clothes were still wet. Staff gave me a free token for the 9th floor laundry units though.

Perfect stay for a few nights to see Cebu City. Recommend for: - perfect room (spacious, clean, comfortable). Good water pressure. Small kitchen (didn’t use it, but there was even a rice cooker). - big swimming pool (20 m) with nice chill area. - nice fitness area with weights and rack to do pull ups. - all you can eat breakfast with really good food!! Pastries like in France and „normal“ bread (We are German, so we can tell.) Had to wait a few minutes to be seated due to too many people. - laundry room where you could do your own laundry (340 Pesos)

The hotel rooms are spacious and so clean. The staff are so friendly and get all the requests done in no time. The breakfast at ABACA is amazing and all the food, desserts and ffruits are fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our staying at Citadines hotel and even extended another 4 nights.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In addition to all the above excellent points, the hotel is a green hotel, and dedicated to reducing its environmental impact and carbon footprint in several way.
