Read good reviews of this hotel so decided to stay here on our first trip to Manila. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. It was like an oasis of calm. Not too big not too small the hotel was staffed with the kindest and most friendly of staff. The hotel was super clean and professionally run, the breakfast simple but tasty and was included in the price of the room. The hotel was exceptional value for money and located not too far from the airport. We stayed twice, both on arrival and before our departure home. Located in a busy area of Makati there are plenty of lively restaurants and bars nearby. Staying at Herald Suites was a pleasure and we would stay nowhere else when we return to Manila. A big thank you to all the staff who made our stay so pleasant.

The cleanliness. Staff behavior. Room size

Breakfast is not buffet. The choice was very limited. In 3 days we were forced to take same breakfast. There was no fruits and salads. Room was specious and clean. But me and my wife has to sleep separately because the receptionist did not accommodated our request of king size bed. Location is not ideal for travelers as there is no shopping mall nearby, no metro or train station nearby. To go anywhere you have to use taxi. The nearest mall destination cost P300 for taxi. Due to which it became costly.

I decided to stay here because the Makati area where this hotel is located seems to be relatively safe, but I didn't have any incidents that made me feel unsafe. It seems to be a historic building, but it was well maintained and I had a very comfortable stay. The staff members were the first to greet me with a smile. I especially liked the smile and hospitality of the person who opened the door at the entrance. There were about four types of breakfast to choose from, and both Filipino and Western food were available, so I don't think you'll get bored even if you stay for a few days. Everything was delicious. It seems like it would be worth paying more for such a wonderful hotel, but thanks to my Genius status, I was able to stay at a great price and I'm very satisfied.

The Wi-Fi signal was weak and would cut out frequently. It's a historic building, so I think there will be some difficulties, but I think it will be a pleasant stay if it is improved.

From my room, I can faintly hear sounds drifting in from outside. While the noise creates a subtle background hum, it remains tolerable and doesn't disturb my peace.

the ambience staff are friendly

it could be better if there is a shower room. it will help for people with disability apart from that with my help my husband enjoyed the stay.

Nice staff, always good treatment. very service oriented. It was clean and tidy in the rooms. the restaurant had some good dishes to recommend if you want to avoid going out. the breakfast was absolutely perfect you could choose.

The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked a lot. the twin beds were better in the other rooms. but the double bed was very bad. Of course you can sleep in them, but not the best ones i sleept in orher hotels.

Great hotel in a good location for local nightlife and restaurants. My room was large, AC worked fine, safe, kettle, toiletries The staff were very accommodating for me and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was a choice of menu not a buffet and was perfectly fine. The dining area is very pleasant as is the whole hotel with its quant art deco features.

Many lights in the room all seem to have there own switch, I never did find the light switch for the wardrobe light.

First of all the staff are very friendly,walking distance to a lot of restaurants and especially street foods,our room size is fairly large for two guests and clean we love everything in this hotel especially the free breakfast that came with the price of our room,this is our second time we stayed at this hotel we recommend it to everyone 👍😊
