The location was excellent because it’s in a very prime and central location. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. They always take the extra mile to accommodate whatever requests being made and they are very friendly and courteous.

The hotel wifi was unable to connect on the last 2-3 days before we check out. However, i know that the hotel staff was trying their best to resolve the issue and it’s just beyond their capability on the technical issue encountered.

I stay here frequently so that says something. While the location is great and relatively easy to get to from the airport, it's mainly due to the staff. From the guys on the door helping you with your bags and transportation, to the housekeeping crew, they are so friendly. No matter what time of the day, you're always greeted with a good morning/afternoon/night and even when travelling in the elevators! (And my attempts at Tagalog in return are always appreciated : ) After spending time in airports, in transit and after a long flight, it's always a joy to be greeted upon arrival by Kim on reception. On my most recent visit, Kim, Jerwin, Aibe and Lem were exceptional. The rooftop pool and restaurant is an added bonus. As the great, hectic view of Manila unfolds down below, you can have a cold drink and a nice meal. The staff do anything to accommodate your needs. On this trip I had to meet with a work colleague for dinner and Grace made sure a table was reserved and the service was excellent. She's such a professional. Her team of Shaine, Jim, Al, Crizel, Adonis, Robert, Miko and Jeff made the night memorable. I've worked in the customer service industry since I was 16 and these guys at City Garden have nailed it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, located right in the center of the city, which made it super convenient for getting around. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were warm and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. A big shoutout to the valet parking team who took great care of our car throughout our stay — special thanks to Benson, Francis, Marcelo, Omar, and Ariel for their excellent service and professionalism. The breakfast team also made our mornings pleasant. Jeff, James, and Rojen were attentive, friendly, and always had a smile, which we really appreciated. The gym facility was excellent — clean, well-equipped, and a great bonus to have while traveling. Overall, we experienced no issues at all during our stay. The staff were consistently helpful and friendly throughout, and we truly felt looked after every single day. Highly recommend this hotel for its service, location, and amenities!

The staff was always very helpful. I think the location is also quite good. Fortunately on this visit the TV and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, though not on the previous visit.

My room was with a window – no view. Even if it didn’t have a view, I would have expected a little light to come in. However, the window was inches away from the wall of the adjoining building and the room was completely dark during the day without the lights on. I didn’t care for the breakfast. At a minimum I would like to have seen better fruit. The bathroom was also quite tiny.

The Staff were great! Front desk were great! Servers during breakfast were great! Door men were great! Pool and spa person was great! I think you have an excellent staff. This is a very important asset and would want me to go back. The breakfast was excellent and varied.

They wanted to charge P100 pesos for a stain on a pillow case. We did not notice a stain on our pillows and they showed a photo that could have been from anyone's pillow case. Not worth giving a business customer who stays for 4 nights the hassle for P100 pillow stain. Poor policy.

Comfortable bed and hot shower with good water pressure. The room was lovely and quiet. Appreciated the cold water dispenser on our level. The gym was good. Staff were helpful.

Our toilet made a filling up noise for about 10 minutes after every flush. The rooms are a little dated. They don't air condition the foyers and lifts well enough... it's like they're saving money. It was annoying to be advised 24hours before arrival that the pool and restaurant are not operational and you'd need to go across the road to the sister hotel (by the way...the restaurant over there is a must do at night).

Breakfast was v gd - plenty of variety & the staff were friendly & helpful. As soon as the chef saw me he started making my omelette! The housekeeping staff were friendly & efficient too. Good location - Makati proper eg Greenbelt malls area was only a 20 min walk away. Plenty of cafes & restaurants on Makati Av. Happy Hour on the rooftop terrace was a bonus - as a solo female guest I didn't feel put of place. Netflix on TV with the latest programmes available. Comfortable bed.

The aircon was quite blowy so I would have liked the alternative of a ceiling fan. The washing line facility in the shower did not work.

Great location, great value, friendly staff, easy rules for visitors any time of the day.

The rooftop restaurant is not good. When asked for a medium rare steak I got something very thing (like 5-6mm) and fully cooked. It looked like pork. A couple of days before we had some shrimp in oil and garlic which were awesome, the day of the steak that too was more like wok (boiled shrimp, no oil, uncooked garlic). Probably there is not always the same cook there which makes it either good or horrible.

Stayed in that solid 3 star hotel for 5 days during Jan.. My room at 12th floor was spacious and clean, however, a bit dated, especially the bathroom wouldn't mind some renovation. A/C was a bit noisy for my taste but did its job effectively. Service at hotel facilities was very good and support from front desk staff truly outstanding. A Special "Thanks" to Kim, Pau, Maria, Jagig, Ton & Lem for always taking the time to answer my questions. I wasn't aware that the CG Grande belongs to the same owner/group and is situated just across the street. Providing 5 star accommodation for a mere 20 US/day more therefore sounds like a great deal. Will give it a try next time.

My husband and I really enjoy staying at this hotel. We have stayed here on two separate occasions and both visits were consistently a high quality experience. All the staff here are very kind, respectful and hardworking. CJ, Jessa, Fhebie, Queeny, Neil, Rojen, Chef Gerald, Chef Jo, Mina, and Marlon are a diligent and accommodating team they even recognized us from our first visit! The food is really good and variety is great at both the 2nd floor and rooftop restaurants. The Mexican food is perfect and adds to the uniqueness of this hotel. Their Fajitas and margaritas are amazing 10/10 and we love the fun atmosphere at night on the rooftop restaurant. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable, no weird smells or stains. I was really happy to see the TV had Netflix that's a big bonus for me. Location of this hotel is also nice, so many places are within walking distance including a Starbucks and I recommend using Grab if you need to go out further especially since parking can sometimes be a little limited here but the front door staff always do great work managing parking. This will be our go to hotel when my husband and I visit Manila, the price for the room and food is very reasonable here and all the staff is perfect!
