We started off on the wrong foot when arriving here because we had booked pool view rooms without being aware that the pool was being renovated. This seems to be a Booking problem so please be advised that the main pool is an active construction site until at least February 2024. It seems other platforms correctly reflect this information while Booking did not. The staff was extremely accommodating and understood our surprise and problems with having a front view to the construction. They were able to find a different room for us which satisfied our needs and provided extra perks to make up for the fact that it was a room category downgrade. From this point on our stay was great. The breakfast selection was quite good and we liked the sikwate a lot. We also took advantage of the complimentary snorkeling masks and kaiak to explore the coral reefs which were right off the shore. The variety of marine life present here was quite stunning. All in all, despite the initial awkwardness, we ended up having a very relaxing time here and would gladly come back to see how the pool looks when the construction is finished.

I like our location as it is in front of a pool. The pool size is great and good for kids. They have life guards. The place feels secured. They have a restaurant and has good breakfast buffet options with view of the sea. They have access to the sea but not so much for swimming. Friendly and accommodating staff. Bathroom is very spacious. They provide welcome drinks and 1 free bottle of water per person per day. Kid certain age stays free if sharing bed.

The location of restaurant is quite far from the rooms. Not ideal when it's rainy season. They can deliver food to your room but menu is limited.

Everything about Bluewater is fantastic. Set in large gardens, it is very private and quiet. It is just a quick tuk-tuk ride to the town of Alonna. The rooms are immavulatelt clean and spacious. One outstanding feature of Bluewater is its staff. They are super friendly and always helpful. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here.

The beach is difficult to swim in due to the shallow waters and reef. However, the two large pools make up for this. The ala carte restaurant menu is a bit westernised but the buffet breakfasts were varied and yummy.

The room ambience, it is bright and not claustrophobic. We like how they merge the environment with the resort by using materials that environmentally friendly. The floating bed feature is admirable and the lighting underneath it. We were sceptical at first when we booked this hotel but we were happy when we saw it first hand. The description in the website doesn’t do justice on how wonderful the facility and staff.

The price of food is too high in comparison with the taste and quality of the food. It is passable if you are really hungry but you could get a much lower price of food outside however, don’t deter yourself from coming here because of the price of the food for the place is really wonderful and worth staying.

I like the ambience in general since it's family friendly. I also like the rooms as they are very spacious. The toilet and bath area was big too. I like that my 5 year old could reach the sink. There are 2 pools and my kids enjoyed them. I booked this room for a marathon and the location was very near. The staff were very nice too. They allowed us to check in early. Also, the breakfast was good.

Amazing hotel, perfect location for families: quiet and a bit away from loud centre of Alona beach. Rooms are very comfortable, within hotel there is lot of space and green areas. We enjoyed a lot breakfasts with sea-view from hotel restaurant and our son loved swimming in two swimming pools located withing hotel. On the top of that - all staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. We enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel.

Accessible transport if need to go out to nearby shops and tour around. Ambience is perfect for relaxation and staff are very polite, effficient, and ready to serve if you need something.

The room that my sisters and mom stayed, that’s beside the pool. The door curtains were not changed when we took over, it smells of dampness and maybe because of the bath tub as well, maybe water there is not flowing out properly. We did ask the attentiin of the management, they did clean the room but still the smell of damp was present.

The breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of variety. The staff was friendly and assisted us throughout our stay, always with a smile. I love that kayaking was free, as we were able to enjoy the sea.

We were put in a room very close to construction or renovation. Although the slight noise from the works in the morning was tolerable, I could have enjoyed the quietness of the mornings. Also, adding more toiletries, such as lotion and shampoo/ conditioner would be better.

Loved the property, loved the big bathroom , loved breakfast choices at restaurant and dining in the resort.

Should be some sort of area for doing laundry and each room should have an ironing board and iron without having to ask. Was a bit of a mission to get a second room key. Lack of kiddie meals (reduced size) from room service or restaurant.
