Very nice, rustic hotel in the suburbs of Katowice. The interior decoration is very nice. It is very easy to reach the place by train, a train station is just outside the hotel The breakfast is very good Our room was spacious and comfortable. Free parking is offered and it is very convenient as parking is rather problematic in Katowice If you want shopping, there is a nearby mall within walking distance. If you want a bigger one, not very far is the Auchan shopping center where you can find almost anything you need. All in all a very good place to stay

There is no elevator in the hotel, so if you have movement limitations, this is not a place for you. The walls are thin, you can hear the noises from the neighbouring room. It can be inconvenient, as the neighbour's might hear you too... After 22:00 there was no hot water in the shower, might be a temporary thing No kettle in the room to make tea

This was our third time we stayed in this hotel. It is full of character, something most modern hotels lack completely. Rooms are spacious (which we highly appreciated after out previous hotel) and superbly appointed with comfy bed and a good size desk if you need to work, and a comfy sofa accompanied by a small coffee table to enjoy your afternoon drink. There is plenty of storage space in a big wardrobe, desk drawers and bedside tables. After a long journey it was nice to find a couple of bottles of water (sparking and still) waiting for us in the room. The hotel is perfectly located if you need to get around either by car or public transport. It has very easy access to the A4 motorway and 'Trasa Średnicowa' (a motorway cutting through all cities in the Silesian agglomeration). The railway station is just in front of the hotel (only local trains are stopping here) and the nearest tram stop is only a few minutes walk away. Apart from fantastic breakfasts, you can try delicious local Silesian and Polish cuisine in the hotel's restaurant which is open until 10 pm. Visiting Katowice next time we will definitely stay here again.

Just to state a fact: there is no lift in the hotel, so you need to climb the stairs with your heavy suitcases. Anyway, it did not stop us from returning here again.

Lovely staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. A bit out of the city centre but easy to get there as the train station is just in front of the hotel or just get Bolt/Uber, so also easy to go to other places nearby. Nice breakfast, homemade in-the-house restaurant.

The hotel from the inside is outdated, even though the wood design and construction are great, but bathrooms and showers need to be maintained. It is not possible to make it fully dark for sleep as the curtain can't cover the whole window.

We stayed three nights and we left pleasantly impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel,rooms,toilets.The beds were not too big but very comfortable,a constatnt temperature in the room and the hotel. All the staff were lovely and helpful The hotel restaurant was amazing,we had dinner there every night. The place eccedeed our expectations and we recommend it 100%. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful and unique interior, friendly staff, superb restaurant, very clean rooms, large secured parking free of charge. The hotel is located at the city outskirts but there is a train station right across the street or a plethora of e-scooters to take you to the city.

There is no elevator in the building, closet or clothes rack was missing in the room. Our key card stopped working like 6 times (top floor down and up, that was a real cardio).

Loved the design of the place.. Staff very friendly and even prepared a packed breakfast in morning as travelling out very early. Breakfast choice great. Wonderful dinning hall and great food. Clean. Comfortable and sizeable room's. Right near rail station.

Not really a criticism but observation: Perhaps a fridge in room or/and tea maker? No lift/elevator for disabled guests?

At first, a rural mansion looks a bit out place in this industrial city. But it has a lot of character, something which is missing in many 'modern' hotels. Spacious room with comfy bed and a good size desk if you need to work. A comfy sofa to have a rest during the day. If it would be accompanied by a small coffee table to enjoy your afternoon tea or coffee, it would be absolutely great. It is located a bit away from the city centre but free car park with plenty of parking space and an attendant helping you to find a place plus very easy access to A4 motorway and 'Trasa Średnicowa' (a motorway cutting through all cities in the Silesian conurbation) makes it perfect location to get anywhere around. If you do not have a car, there is a railway station just in front of the hotel and tram a few minutes walk. Hotel restaurant apart from fantastic breakfasts serves delicious local Silesian and Polish cuisine until late. This was out second visit to this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

Climbing with a heavy suitcase to the 3rd floor is a bit of a challenge as there is no lift in this building. It would be useful to have a wardrobe in the room. Just a coat hanger is not enough.

Breakfast is very satisfactory in European style. The room is big enough with all the necessary furniture and a large bathroom. The beds are comfortable.

No indifidual heating in the room. Central heating became colder duting the night. The temperature outside droped dramatically. It was warm under the comforter but not in the room. We checked-in at night (2 a.m.), there were no hot water in the bathroom. Water became warm in the morning (7 a.m.).

Good location - next to a station. Good price per value. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.

It is only a 4 floor building, but the lack of an elevator was noticeable when you try to carry all your luggage to the top floor. If you are a light sleeper - be aware that the hotel is next to the train tracks (did not bother us). The shower head’s fixture is loose - you have to hold it while showering. The bathroom’s shelf could use an update as it was under an angle and our toothbrushes were rolling into the sink.

We had a great stay at Marysin Dwór. The bed was super comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a real highlight — lots of variety, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes. The staff were friendly and everything was clean and well-kept. I’d definitely stay here again!
