Safe place to park bike small fee, or courtyard ,could park, bathroom is 3 & 3 so ok space. Room size is good, location is ok. Bit common area . Staff friendly, over all good place . Wifi works well, shower good , Will stay again

Like all hostels in Poland have now people living there! Some may not like bathroom is shared male & female but all toilet & shower are private, and more of them than most other hostels, no real kitchen only hot water, but lots local restaurants in area, as well grocery stores. Some what common area, smoking only outside, rooms are a bit stuffy, front dorm to street is a bit loud as window must be left open. Privacy curtains only on bottom bunks but at least have, but due to long term people hard to get a bottom bunks. They only put people in all the dorms rooms when place is full, aka fill a room before opening up the next one? Over all good hostel stayed before has improved since then hopefully continue to improve.

The bed is comfortable, the room is very pleasant, and I enjoy the calm and tranquility of a good night’s sleep.

I don’t like that the pillow is too small and that I have to share the bathroom with men—especially the bathtub. The bathroom smells awful, and it’s simply because it’s not clean. You can’t see the dirt because the toilet bowls are black. Also, I would like to have access to my room with a key only. This would ensure that in a shared space, only women can enter our room (which is the reason we pay for a women-only room). Overall, I like the place, but I don’t always feel very safe because there are more men than women here.

Chili Hostel is located outside the old center of Krakow but not that far away. There is a good infrastructure of public transport so you can easily move around. The price to stay at Krakow is very good and the free towel they provide is good as well. There is a bakery and supermarket around the corner to get drinks and food. The hostel itself offers that too but I did not see how to purchase them as the reception wasn't manned all the time.

I checked in late so I had to call the reception on the phone for them to provide me instructions on how to get in. The room I was put in was packed and there was one guy who stayed up all night. This is not the fault of Chili Hostel of course as they can't control the behaviour of guests. Fortunately they were willing enough to provide options and relocate me to another room. Also the upper bunk bed doesn't have curtains around so you have no privacy at all as opposed to the lower bunk bed. In regards to the amount of beds in that room I would say it would have been better if they got rid of 1 or 2 bunkbeds to allow for more space and comfort.

Nice location. I had a room which was facing the Main Street. Thus, I did not hear much of the tram noise. There are stores close by, and the staff is really friendly.

The insulation could be better. There were people in front of my room chatting and smoking in the middle of the night. I did have the impression that they tried to keep quiet, tho. When I asked them if they could go elsewhere they were fine with it. And I was there when it was really hot. A fan would have been great.

- it was clean (room, bed clothes etc) However sheets could be changed for new ones because you can see that those are already wore out - location

- it was cold in the room during evenings and nights (outside was approx. - 10°C) even though the heater was turned on (still not working the best). The reception lady (very nice person!) gave me an extra blanket so it was a little bit better. Nevertheless, the hostel should take more care of heating especially during winter - there is no kitchen - no breakfast option - rooms can't be closed so everyone can enter shared rooms (I'm talking mainly about aspects of nights). I would feel safer if I could lock even a shared room from inside

Sizeable and clean dormitory, comfortable beds with two sockets each, kettle with supplies for hot drinks, lockers with locks provided. Washing machine, iron, drying rack and hairdryer in the bathroom. Fridge in the hallway. Exceptionally friendly staff. Very close to a tram stop, but it's not too loud at night. Great value for the price.

Mixed-gender shared bathroom with rather wide gaps in the toilet and shower stalls, to be honest I didn't feel very safe in there as a young woman.

Good location, nice beds, complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Good TV signal, nice hot water in the shower. Bed was soft and comfy, covers were not excessively warm. There is a fridge with drinks for purchase in the reception.

Bathroom was slightly messy and sinks were dirty, maybe because I came in very close to closing time. Some noise from trams. but accepted and expected given the area. Hoping there was a way to keep the fan on on low, independently from the room light.

The location was good as well as the apartment itself. There was pretty clean and comfortable to stay in. The terrace is an amazing addition to all. The only drawback is that it was so hot and loud at night, because the apartment was right beside the road. Overall I liked it there, would definitely recommend to stay in.

It's relatively affordable. The shower was the highlight of this hostel, very spacious, clean, with good water pressure and temperature. The bed was comfy, and the locker fit all my belongings easily. The girl at reception and the cleaning lady were both Ukrainian, so it was easy for us to understand each other. They were both very nice

I chose this hostel bc it was cheap and more or less close to the lake I wanted to visit, but the weather was awful, so the only advantage of this hostel was gone for me. The hostel itself is tiny and located near a busy road with a tram line. Expect everything to vibrate every time a tram passes. You have to knock relatively loudly on the door to be heard and let in before you get your key.

Everyone, especially the reception staff, was very kind and respectful. Even if you come in the summer season like me, it is possible to get personal space here, it has a balcony and a modest garden. As far as I have observed in a few days, when you come to Chili, you will be a guest in a quiet accommodation atmosphere, not with many floors and dozens of rooms like others.
