The concept of the floating hotel the simplicity of rooms

I arrived 2 o’clock the receptionist wasn’t helpful or friendly didn’t even smile said u can’t check in u have to wait after an hour I didn’t like they take 500 deposit I was just there for less than a night the construction I asked for a room away from construction she said no head shower in premium room

The hotel exceeded expectations, the room was spotless with amazing views across the Vistula River. The hotel staff were kind enough to assist with a surprise for my partners birthday and decorated the room. Hala Forum is a short walk for meals, drinks and a chilled outdoor area.

Breakfast should have been clearer. You are given tokens to Hala Forum breakfast that state unlimited drinks, except there are limited breakfast options and you are only allowed one drink.

Great room on the river bank, they have it all in a small space, the small perks - like underfloor heating in the shower, bath ropes, and mosquito repellent. You can drink your Cappuccino (from the machine in the reception that operates 24/7) on the balcony on the river and wave the boats. Located near a small park with a Ferris wheel and hot air balloon. Walking distance (about 15-35 minutes) from the old center. The breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant on the rooftop of a building watching the hotel, the river and all the surroundings, and a great variety of breakfast to choose from.

The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, one has to park in a nearby parking lot (cost 5 zlt per hour or 70 zlt per day, no discount for disabled), there is a club car to assist you with the luggage, but only 8-16, we prepared in advance with two trolleys. The roof is inclined so watch your head when entering the bed in the gallery. The problem with the shower - after each shower you need to wait 10-15 minutes for hot water again or the second shower will be running off hot water in a couple of minutes.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Such a great location, bars and restaurants at the door step. 15 min walk to old town or £3 drive with Bolt. Easy access, when travelling from the airport (bus 300). The place was clean, tidy and fully equipped for 3 day stay (toiletries, hair dryer, kettle, dressing gown, mini fridge, etc). The reception has unlimited supplies of water and coffee. It has the best view over river Vistula and the Wawel castle. We weren’t bothered by other guests, unless they were on the balcony. Overall, I 100% recommend this to other travellers. Reception staff were also super nice as well and very welcoming.

I didn’t realise that there will be so many boats passing by. Tourists were staring inside the apartments, need to make sure to close the curtains for privacy. Bedroom ceiling pretty low - banged my head few times. But the bed was super comfortable and had the best sleep ever.

It's a very nice experience sleeping on the Wisla river in Krakow. Even though there was construction work going on around, we still could park fairly close and enjoy some time on the terrace. And also when it was raining in the evening and during the night, it was still a special feeling bening on the boat.

It would be nice to have earlier check-in times to have more time to enjoy the terrace. Also, the guy at the reception seems not to have had a good day and felt very demotivated. Don't go to this hotel if you can't handle shaking areas as sometimes the room might shake a little (wind, other boats etc.)

Everything 🙌. The quant and modern design of the rooms relaxing on the riverside , stocked mini bar and snacks and beds were nice and comfortable . Our three day trip in Poland overall was a bit of a disaster , first day I realised I’d left my bag in the taxi from the airport , the wonderful receptionist called Bolt for us so she could ask taxi driver about my bag but he didn’t speak English or Polish and so it was very difficult to arrange to get the bag back but she really tried to help us in the situation and found me later on in the day to check we had got something sorted . On our second day my nephew was sick in the evening and was still feeling very poorly the next day , we had to check out at 11 and we our flight wasn’t until late that evening and we had planned to spend the day doing experiences to catch up on what we had missed from trying to track down my bag for five hours on the first day but he was too ill , the thought of hanging about somewhere to pass the time for someone poorly filled us all with dread and so I asked the hotel if we could pay for another night so that we had somewhere warm and comfortable to spend the day and although we couldn’t stay in the same room due to new arrivals, we were transferred to another with no problem at all . This made our last day a lot more pleasant and I can’t thank the staff high enough for helping out in both these incidences . If I were to return to Kracow , I’d stay here again and have recommended New Port to friends and family .

I recently had a fantastic 4-night stay at the New Port Hotel in Krakow. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained throughout my stay. I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and amenities, which made the space feel cozy yet modern. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to key attractions and the Christmas markets. Overall, I highly recommend New Port Hotel for anyone visiting Krakow. It was a wonderful base for an unforgettable trip!

The location, the quirky accommodation, it was incredibly cosy and romantic, very calming to sit and watch the boats, the birds ,the joggers and dog walkers. Beautiful quiet little pods, warm, clean and modern. The staff were very helpful and informative on the accommodation and surrounding area giving us suggestions. We had a full mini bar with reasonable prices. There was a food court just across from the accommodation that looks abandoned almost by day but came alive Friday night and the food was so good! We would 100% return. My partner proposed to me on the first evening after 17 years together.

Great location - easy to walk to the Old Town, esp once the other pedestrian bridge construction is finished. Beautiful and relaxing room nicely designed with what you need. Reception was very friendly and helpful.

Very glad breakfast included was an option, wish I realized prior that it didn't start until 9 since some of our touring days started prior and we needed to find other options. However the day we did eat breakfast was absolutely delicious with a fantastic view (breakfast is in a restaurant next door/behind).

The accommodation was beautiful, so cosy & relaxing, I could have stayed forever!!

The room was exceptionally hot, we had the heating turned off but I couldn't sleep with the heat... & it was below zero outside.
