Our host was so welcoming and kind, which made us feel at home right away. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, with a really comfy bed and a fan to keep cool. While the shower wasn’t the biggest the water pressure made for a great experience. It’s just outside Águeda, but getting into town was super easy and inexpensive (about €3 by Uber) Breakfast was simple but fresh delicious and plentiful.

The rooms aren’t soundproof so you’re at the mercy of how considerate other guests are. Unfortunately we weren’t lucky and were woken twice by others talking in the corridor.

The woman working the front desk (Filipa) was great. Hard working, friendly, and helpful. She also served the breakfast in the morning and made excellent coffee. Thr breakfast was excellent. The property was adjacent to an alberge and you were able to use all the facilities there (i.e., kitchen, common spaces). A group of us walked to the market (about 600-700) meters and purchased for a fantastic pasta meal that we shared.

The overhead light wasn't working. It was no problem for me and I informed the front desk. The walls were thin and you could easily hear your neighbors. Luckily folks were fairly quiet.

The location was great! It was very close to downtown. We drove, but could have walked. The staff was so wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and so caring for their guests. Especially Adriana!! What a gem!! The breakfast was awesome. There were so many varieties. Bread, cakes, cereals, yogurt, fruits, hams, and much more! Don't forget wonderful espressos as well. This place was so inexpensive, and we weren't expected anything special. It definitely exceed our expectations.

We had a lot of things with us. They didn't have a wardrobe or any other furniture to put our clothes in. That was the only complaint for the room.

Old-fashioned hotel but really well looked-after. Great room with comfortable bed, lovely bedding and a view down into the valley (it would be worthwhile asking for a room at the back). Location on the main road out of Agueda, but that makes it calm. The included breakfast wasn't bad - the usual Portuguese hotel buffet breakfast, but with some touches like tomatoes that made it a little bit better.

The bathroom was a little old and the shower not great, but not a big problem. It was very hot so a fan would have been nice. There was noise from the other rooms, as in every hotel.

Room with balcony and view was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great in a beautiful room downstairs. Dinner was delivery with easy ordering/paying at reception - just be mindful that the portion sizes are massive (at least double what expected!).

off the camino and to reconnect further up it's via busy roads.

My bathroom had a dehumidifier that dried my rain wetted clothes quickly without heat. Practical and environmentally responsible. Showes they are thinking about their guests. Bench for bag. Every room should have one but they are rarely seen.

Out of town, but along the pilgrim way, so a head start on next stage. Limiited food choices nearby

My room had a balcony and I was able to sit out and enjoy the views and the breeze. I kept the door open all night for fresh air and it was fantastic! The beds were crisp and comfy. The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was better than I had expected with my coffee made to order.

There were dogs barking all night. Nothing the hotel could do about that. But on the other hand, the delightful crow of a rooster in the morning.

Extremely friendly owner, who takes the time and effort to make your stay comfortable. Lovely grounds and well appointed kitchen, conducive to enjoying a self-cooked dinner. Good breakfast, with variety of items and delicious coffee.

Breakfast was perfect. The host was very kind and courteous. The checkin was simple and straight forward. Parking was free, therefore fantastic. Location was perfect for us and just a short walk to centre of city. July is a beautiful time to pass through Águeda as the city is in festival mode and great atmosphere. Lidl is very close for anything you might need. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean, comfortable bed and quiet once the dogs stopped barking. Guess that’s what you get in rural areas. Nice view to the valley and good breakfast.

Tiny bathroom but shower good. A bit out of the way for walkers, Lidl supermarket reasonably close but restaurants a kilometre away, down and then back up the hill. They did offer a food delivery service.
