Very family friendly hotel, lots of activities for little kids. I really like that the spa is open from 9am till 11 pm. The gym also looked nice with mainly cardio equipment, but unfortunately didn't have a chance to use it. The surroundings of the hotel is really nice, large garden area with paths that you can walk with a stroller. There are some farm animals, that you can feed with food bought at the reception. Good fun for the little ones. The room was cozy, large bathroom, comfy bad and nice terrace. Breakfast was really good, large variety of options. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

If you want to dine in the hotel, you have to book in advance (11am on the same day) and there is only option for dinner. So you must go out during the day to have lunch. Dinner was okay, but not amazing and rather pricey for what it was.

The food was really good, and the hotel and it’s atmosphere was very calming, except the spa.

Too many kids in the spa, couldn’t really enjoy myself because it was always noisy and the kids were splashing the water everywhere. I believe it would be a better experience if kids weren’t allowed in the spa. At least in the winter, since the outdoor pool isn’t proper. Maybe it could have a kids center, for the parents to leave the kids and go enjoy the spa. There, they would be entertained and there would be games and someone to watch over.

As there were few guests at the hotel, the indoor pool was very good. The room is comfy! The staff was super nice! It is probably a great place to stay in the summer! (To use the huge gardens and outdoor pool)

It may be because the hotel had few guests but there weren’t some of the Bar foods available as there was no cook working on a specific day. Also the hot water wasn’t stable, always heating up and cooling down.. not great to bathe a baby. There isn’t a room to chill or play some games when it’s raining. The gym had 3 cardio machines and some Pilates balls.

Breakfast was really good, indoor swimming pool very nice and decent size and temperature and super nice schedules of closing and opening specially for parents with kids, that want to try enjoy it after bedtime.

I think the prices of clothes for swimming, because we forgot ours, was a bit too much, but other than that, everything was good

The hotel was located in the country side near Alcobaca in the beautiful rolling hills. The building was newer contemporary design and very well appointed. We arrived to find that our room needed repairs so they kindly upgraded us to a small villa that was exceptional.

We really can’t complain but to be a bit picky the breakfast was not to par with the rest of the place and the workout room of three units needed updating. That said we would stay here again in the future.

It really is in a splendid place, with beautiful views, quiet, silent and easily accessible. The heated indoor pool is very good and all the environments are pleasant. Breakfast is great, the beds are the same and the bathrooms are excellent. The rooms have an excellent balcony.

Perhaps prices could be slightly lower. Pool heating is a little below the standard found in other hotels of the same category. you should know that you will need a car to go to the Sanctuary in Alcobaça, because if you go on foot, it will probably be unfeasible.

The location - the countryside, the cleanliness, the quietness, the view from the room's balcony, the breakfast and the kindness of the whole staff!

Hotel was spacious, rooms were clean with a nice view. Breakfast was good. A lot of parking space without any costs right next to the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and gave us advise where to park our car for free near the city centre and gave us advice where to eat.

We didn't visit the swimming pool, because we had to wear a swimming cap (although available for €5,- a piece at the hotel). It's a 5 minute drive to the city centre. There was only a bath in our room with a hand held shower.

Almost wild location, interior and exterior designs are nice. Rooms are clean. Massage service is not bad, very tidy.

Very poor breakfast. Additional fee for a robe in spa hotel, while I had massage booked.. Both robes of my friend and mine were torn… Pool is tiny, space of spa is far from enough.

In a beautiful spot. Poolside rooms have views of countryside. Used as a base to explore nazare alobaco,bathala,and gutas de aire caves. Tomar also an hour away. . Have big grounds,with lots of songbird and a big goat pen. Room huge.good value
