The host was warm and inviting. I was accommodated very well and made to feel very comfortable. Nothing was too much of an effort. The room is comfortable, clean, tidy and well-presented. Breakfast was a full variety of freshly cooked eggs and bacon, a choice of cereals, stone-baked bread and homemade jams (yum). So something for everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

It was a little out of the way BUT not a problem. Views were stunning and quiet location. So not really a problem

I only spent one night here to visit a nearby monastery, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The room and bathroom were very big and super clean. Very peaceful place. But my favorite thing was the sweet host, and the amazing breakfast she prepared for the guests. I totally recommend this please, without any doubt.

Beautiful B&B located in serene country side but within 10 minute drive to Alcobaça. Host was very personable and accommodating and provided a great breakfast which included home made jams. Spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Location is very central for day trips to Obidos, Tomar, Nazare, Ourém, and Fatima.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The hostess/ owner was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. If you get a chance to get the cottage, do it. It's like having your own little house. Fully equipped. Wonderful breakfasts in the morning and fresh cups of coffee. The rooms were just as delightful, bright and cheerful. Each room has its own bathroom. Everything was bright, clean and there's even a yard to sit out in the sun or on the deck under the canopy. The price was very reasonable. If there was 12 stars, I'd give Bed and Breakfast Vista that many stars!! We would come back again!! There's a large living space and dining area that engine shares and we met people from different parts of the world.

The quiet country location with a gorgeous view over a valley was perfectly located for visiting Alcobaca, Batalha, and Nazare. A short drive into Alcobaca yielded everything one could want in terms of services and restaurants. Host Lourdes offered a delicious full breakfast buffet as well as excellent restaurant recommendations. She was a gentle, friendly person with whom we enjoyed talking; she answered many of our questions about the flora of the area as well as the history. The large ensuite room was very comfortable.

Google maps do not work very well in Portugal so finding the turn was a little difficult.

We chose this location for a short trip over the easter holidays to get out of the city and enjoy and discover the nature in and around the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. We stayed in the studio which is separate from the main house. It's a lovely quiet place. The rooms are big with AC, the beds were comfortable, and it has a nice bathroom with a window. There is a possibility to even cook. Lurdes, the lovely owner provided breakfast in the morning with self made jams and fruits from the garden! The view from the house is spectacular! I very much recommend this place for families with kids as there is a big garden and also some goats and chickens. A nice and relaxing place, highly recommended!

Lurissa, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay there as wonderful and comfortable as possible. From the cleanliness of the property to the wonderful breakfasts, to the lovely views of the countryside, to her advice on our travels, we cannot imagine staying in a better property in Alcobaca.

As is the case with most other European accommodations, the shower, though large and modern, lacked a safety grab bar. Being older travelers, we would have liked to have one.

Lourdes was a perfect host, friendly, accommodating and willing to make your stay the best possible. Information given for restaurants and places to visit in the area. Ample breakfast, consisting of fresh breads, cheese, meat and a variety of homemade jams. Vista is properly named due to a view from the deck across a valley to orchards. The Casa was very clean. Free parking on site.

The view is spectacular over the valley. BnB is 8 minutes from the historical monastery which is in the heart of Alcobaca. Both Google Maps and the rental GPS, at times had a bit of difficulty maintaining a signal when in the hills outside of the city. The solution was to drive downhill into the city limits, and get the directions then. Alcobaca hosts its own, city wide, free WiFi service. The city boasts many restaurants and cafes for lunch, dinner, espresso and spirits. Breakfast is a fantastic spread, and host will even cook up a couple eggs is asked.
