The location is amazing. The boat communal areas of the boat is very nice. the breakfast was great. The staff was very nice and friendly and ready to help. I liked that there was playing cards and board games available for guests to borrow.

I didn't like the shower room in the bedrooms as it was very tight, no space or shelve to put down my toiletries. The shower room floor was stained - looked dirty and there was lot's of rust everywhere. The room itself was very tight - so small even for a couple. There could be better space saving solutions like pull out shelves and there was a gap on the headboard of the bed which could've added valuable centimetres to the room if utilised.

Location was fine but not in Aveiro Town, so used taxis a lot. Breakfast was good, but not up to others we have had inPortugal. Staff were helpful and polite.

Bathroom was cramped, but it is a boat. Could do with etter sound insulation between rooms..

We absolutely loved this stay, the location is great, the boat is enchanting and the rooms were very well equiped! Everything was amazing right down to the amazing view of the Aveiro's Ria at night and in the morning. The staff was very accommodating, nice and knowledgeable of the boats history and the breakfast provided is absolutely delicious (and with a really good variety and quality). It was a different experience, sleeping on a docked boat is not an everyday thing, and it was certainly very fun to see how they renovated and maintain a 100years old passenger boat.

Overall we have no complaints, the room was detail oriented and very user friendly, the bathroom was small but very well designed, and the amenities and breakfast were great. My only suggestion would be to share a bit of the boat's history, either on the website or the inside of the boat. I asked the front desk which told me they don't have alot of documented history but know a little bit of it. And the little I heard was already very interesting! History oriented guests might be drawn to staying here if those details are shared.

What a unique experience. We stayed in the suite with a river view and with the big window in the living room, it feels almost like you could touch the water. The sunrise in the morning was beautiful. The location is good and it’s easy to explore Costa Nova with several restaurants within walking distance. Although it was quite windy the day we arrived, we enjoyed a drink on the top deck. Breakfast was good and they had a nice variety of items. The staff was helpful when we had an issue with our car (happened on the drive up, not related at all to the hotel). The woman at reception called the mechanic shop for us (we don’t speak Portuguese very well) and we got our car fixed quickly and cheaply!

They were a bit understaffed in the bar in the evening.

The hotel/boat itself is very well kept and nice looking. The inside is well arranged and new. We loved the breakfast which had a lot of variety. The location of the hotel is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the beach in the summer or just long and calm walks in the off-season.

The small cabin rooms on the -1 floor have a very bad air conditioning system. In the winter season, the built-in AC can only heat-up the room and in summer season can only cool it down. Since the cabin is small and located in the -1 floor it is naturally lacking air circulation and when you are unable to control the AC to your needs it gets in a very bad situation where you are essentialy sleeping without oxygen. It is something to keep in mind for people wanting to reserve this type of cabin.

Location and view. Breakfast was also nice. The staff were friendly and impeccable

Very small cabins and bathrooms. Ceiling was under 2m tall and a nuisance for any tall person (this info isn't found anywhere). Dinner was below standard for a hotel of this rating

The setting. The position of the vessel was perfect. Wonderful sea views plus great views of the attractive town of Costa Nova. The location was perfect for access to the lovely nearby city of Aveiro.

The room size was very compact to say the least, but comfortable and very clean throughout. The restaurant was closed during our three night stay which meant we could not even order snack items

The boat is beautiful and placed in a beautiful location. The room was, as expected, small but cozy. Bedroom super comfortable. The bathroom was a surprise, so funny to see how they fit everything into such a tiny space. Breakfast was good.

Lack of air conditioning. Our room was at one end of the boat, so had the sun hitting on it all day. It was super hot and humid at night, and we can't open the window because it was facing the river and mosquitoes might come in.

Bikes, paddle boards and a kayak are available for check out. Lounge areas have some board games. Breakfast was nice and varied. We were on the main floor. There was no ship noise at night. Good bed. It was right across from the restaurants, shops and market of Costa Nova. There are bike paths. You can easily walk to the beach and along the boardwalks.

Its a ship cabin so expect a tight bathroom.
