I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and everything met my needs.

The Saturday evening. There was a dinner with music. I do like to see people enjoying themselves, but there was no way you could get any sleep until the music stopped at 00.30 in the morning! This happened last year too on the Saturday evening. I think it is a regular thing.

We stayed for three nights to attend a wedding in Ilhavo so the location was perfect for us. The room was spacious with a balcony and the bed was very comfortable. A good size ensuite with a bath and shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful and kindly allowed us a late check out as our flight from Porto was in the evening. The breakfast was excellent catering for all tastes.

The bar was a little dull without much character but adequate for its purpose. Some building work was taking place but we were not disturbed. A consequence was that the outdoor pool had layer of dust floating on the surface so not very inviting! In fairness, it was early in the season and it looked like the staff were starting to clean the pool and there is a very nice indoor pool as an alternative.

In my view the hotel had some ‘70’s’ grandor in its appearance, although adequate modernizations have been performed. Nice atmosphere, good service and ow, we took the buffet dinner, which was otherwise good -with superb deserts 👌

The restaurant/dinner was really bad. Rice was not cooked, appetizers (fish worms? overcooked veggie conglomeration?) was really bad, no chef apparently, I could've easily cooked a better meal. We did not finish it because of the quality of the meal.

Pool was good. Reception staff good . Free parking . Rooms clean but just a little small but no real complaints for one person .

The AC guy came in room and washed the AC filter in my bathtub . Very interesting .

the facilities were brilliant, it had everything that a spa should have. It was comfortable and our room overlooked the pool with a balcony. lovely.

The food at the restaurant was very basic, lovely restaurant, lovely music by candlelight but the food came with crisps on the plate. It made us laugh to have such nice ambiance yet it was like someone had opened a bag of crisps and put them on the plate.

Loved the breakfast, the indoor pool was a bit small but it was lovely, and the outdoor was still closed at the time. The room was big enough with a great bathroom! The breakfast having lactose free options was a great deal for us!

Although it wasn't listed on the room's amenities list, it was a shame that there wasn't an electric kettle and a refrigerator. These are essential appliances for travelers.

Already used several times for business trips, but considering the location it can also be good for holidays near the sea. Good hotel, good restaurant and friendly staff.

Like all of Portugal, restaurant and hotel prices have risen beyond the acceptable limit!
