Botanical garden was exceptional. Very good spa facilities. Welcoming and friendly staff, especially Raymondo in the Siddharta bar! Comfortable apartment. 25 minute bus ride to Funchal.

Free gym was not functional and no air con in either gyms. No iron in the apartment. Fridges in the apartment were not cold enough and made a gurgling noise which made a restful night's sleep difficult for a light sleeper.

Very friendly staff, such a beautiful garden, a room with our own little garden, the food was good and the breakfast excellent with many healthy choices. Masseuses very nice and good

For a wellness hotel the wellness part was not sufficient. There is 1 sauna and 1 steamroom and the last was hardly warm, certainly not hot. The sport equipment was rusty and insufficient

This hotel is truly one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The facilities were top-notch—the pool was wonderfully refreshing, and the poolside bar served some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The gardens were beautifully maintained and full of vibrant plants, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. I’ve never encountered such warm and welcoming service. A special thank you to the lovely lady at reception, who was always cheerful, kind, and incredibly helpful. The on-site spa was also excellent, complete with an indoor pool. I had two treatments during my stay, both of which were absolutely superb. The hotel’s gardens deserve another mention—they were simply breathtaking. I was there for a wedding, and I can confidently say it’s the perfect venue for such a celebration. I stayed in one of the garden rooms, which was unbelievably peaceful and featured an incredible bathroom with a rain shower, handheld shower, and water jets—easily one of the best hotel showers I’ve experienced. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The room offered tea and coffee facilities, though it didn’t include any milk. Fortunately, there’s a convenience store just a one-minute walk from the hotel that has everything you might need. A few minor areas in the room could use a little TLC—for example, some touch-ups to the paintwork—but overall, the room was very comfortable and pleasant. One small suggestion would be to offer a wider selection of evening bar snacks to enhance the guest experience

The botanical garden is amazing! Staff is very nice & friendly. The bi-weekly dinner in La Perla is highly recommend (we didn’t have half board, so the additional cost didn’t bother us). Breakfast is good. Beds are comfortable but a bit on the firmer side (was fine with me)

Appartement with one bedroom is very spacious but especially the bathroom could do with an update. No bidet. We had a couple of rainy days in the beginning the room felt a bit cold and damp

Great garden and room to spend time outside, beautiful views and nice location close to a village. Easy to move to Funchal and around by bus. I recommend the hotel highly.

Only minus is that our room was very damp and a bit too chilly. We visited there in December so maybe it's not a problem all year around.

the garden is beautiful, peaceful and healing. It is very well kep and the gardeners provide the restaurant with fresh produce.

Wonderfull garden. Comfortable beds. Very hot water in the shower. Large buffet breakfest.

Doors to terace were not able to lock. Beds are not fixed together for pairs, have a wheels. Parking is quite expensive - 6€ per day.

The massages in the spa were excellent. The garden setting was wonderful, with all the accommodation well integrated.
