First time I had to pay to use the swimming pool (€5 pax). I used to come at least once a year since 2018: it is NOT children friendly as it used to be. It became a regular hotel; same as all others in the area and country.... Lost its soul.

Our stay at the Onyria Marinha Boutique Hotel in Cascais was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, and the service remained exceptional throughout our stay. The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to both the Cascais town center and nearby beaches. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and immaculately clean. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor and the comfort of the bed. Every morning, the free breakfast was a highlight – a variety of fresh and high-quality options. If you’re looking for a luxurious, yet cozy boutique experience in Cascais, I highly recommend the Onyria Marina Boutique Hotel. It made our trip truly memorable! (Note, we traveled in late September during the shoulder season)

The only disappointing part of our trip was the closure of the main pool area due to the time of year we were travelling. Although it was 25 degrees, we were told the main pool was closed for 'winter'.

We stayed in a separate villa. It was a two-story villa. On the first floor, there was a small living room with a kitchen. On the second floor, there were two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The place is quiet. The hotel grounds are beautiful, surrounded by pine trees and greenery. It's a great place to relax with children.

The rooms are definitely outdated. I would say this hotel is a good four-star. We didn't like the breakfasts at all. They were not tasty, with a very small and monotonous selection. The only thing that delighted us during breakfast was the sweet and juicy fruits)

Needed a house for 2 days. Location is excellent. Housing was clean, perhaps a bit more detail paid to things like cutlery as some of them where not fully clean. That was no rush, everything was in hand to quickly wash these myself before use. Upon monday we arrived 40 minutes too late for breakfast, but staff made a exception for us and dropped down a generous and included breakfast. We tipped staff afterwards with € 10 for that.

Overall the place is excellent, only downside is the daily and loud airconditioning coming from larger buildings a bit further away. Aircon in all rooms do work, but it seems the gas is running low and thus cooling less effectively.

Set in lovely grounds with landscaped gardens and a golf course, the hotel was spacious with great sized bedrooms.

The location, although beautiful, was not within walking distance of restaurants etc and there wasn’t even a small shop on the premises where you could buy essentials like sun lotion etc.

The Pools were well designed for all abilities and were clean and safe. Breakfast was a good balance of healthy and traditional options The beds were divine p.

A handle came off in my hand when entering the property and a piece of the shower came off whilst I was showering. Not sure if some fittings were less quality than others.

Excellent choice at breakfast

The shuttle bus service has ceased since Covid began and this means the opportunity for causal trips to Cascais no longer exist. Instead, UBER and Taxi rides are necessary to travel into and from Cascais which also adds to the costs associated with the stay. Difficult to find out prices as all menus are now only accessible with QR codes which creates a lack of transparency.

Beautiful location. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were so nice. Would 100% come back again.

Ants in the kitchen area. There was a very quick response to getting rid of them but we had to call on three separate occasions to deal with it. Overall though the place was amazing.

Great breakfast, beautiful setting. Villas are amazing - spacious and modern. Very near to casa de guia (5nin drive) which has lots of great restaurants.

Food choices could be better, especially at the pool. Juice for kids for eur9 is not treasonable Would be good to heat the outdoor pools as they are freezing . The spa indoor pool is a little heated but there’s a charge. Cannot compare to martinhal as it was previously but still a lovely place to stay.

I had the pleasure of indulging in some of the most exquisite cuisine during my stay. The restaurant's menu offered a delectable variety of dishes, and the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The attentive and courteous staff made dining a true pleasure.
