Our host was wonderful - welcoming and friendly. We offered coffee on arrival. Nice to be able to put our fridge items in their kitchen fridge. The breakfast was outstanding! Cheeses, hams, bread, buns, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc! The room was quiet and nice bathroom too - the whole place was very clean! Wonderful living room to relax in - nice to have TV and access to English movies. Parking was easy and next to the house. Gate had a code for initial entry (thank goodness the gates open inward when coming in as the entrance is short off the busy street - make sure you come down the busy street, heading west!). Glad to have the fob and check-in for easy entry/exit). Wifi worked great. Bed was very comfortable! Air conditioner worked well too. (Was there early October)

Would have liked a few more hooks in the room to put our bath towels - but only a minor issue. Was one of our best accommodations on our trip!!

Well presented property. We stayed in the “garage” converted to studio. This was very well designed and comfortable. Can say how the rooms inside the house were. The staff we did meet were very friendly. The owner too and easy to contact if needed any help.

1. The way to lock the “door” of the studio. But as property it’s is secure not a big issue. 2. Would be nicer to have a paved path all the way from road entrance to studio. Pulling heavy suitcases across gravel not easy. 3. A consideration for light sleeper if booking studio - Cascais can get windy at night. This makes outside noisy and very audible inside the studio.

Moro's Friends House was a fab place to stay. We were in Cascais to watch our daughter run the Lisbon marathon. It was one of the few places we could find that had secure parking, as we had driven down from France, parking was very important to us. The lady who looked after us (sorry I can't remember her name) was delightful and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and the price of our stay was real value for money.

Shared bathroom facilities. The bathroom between Rooms 1 and 2 is very big and I really think there is the opportunity in the future to turn it into 2 separate en-suites.

The owner and other staff were very accommodating and friendly. If you travel with a car this is an excellent location as it's central and a short drive to the city, the beach and the nearby sights, and it's far enough from the city center that traffic isn't an issue.

The shared bathroom rooms inside of the main building are quite noisy, so if you get paired up with other travelers that don't care you might find your sleep interrupted occasionally.

The "check in" system was very well put together, with sending the code and getting the key. The room was well presented, with pretty decoration, towels and even a mini fridge. The bathroom was right next to the room. An isolated property with a great balcony!

The mini fridge in the room made noise and didn't let me sleep, but since it was empty I could just unplug it, and plugged it back when I left. Other guests made a racket in the kitchen when preparing breakfast at 5h30 and didn't let me sleep. This is more of a guest issue than a house issue!

Breakfast was very good and got us off to a good start for our day. Lincoln and his wife were terrific hosts and helped us out with a number of little challenges as we settled in to our first few days in Portugal having flown from Canada. We would come again!

When we arrived we didn't have a phone that was working and we found Moro house very difficult on google to locate as we drove around for over an hour doing our best to get to our location. We ended up asking the police who had GPS and they drove us (police escort) to our place. Our recommendation is to provide guests with very clear directions on how to find the address. Street names are either very hard to read or non-existant. It would be helpful to have landmarks in the town of Cascais that would direct them from the N6 to the N9-1 (we took the N6 along the coast as we didn't want to get on the main highway - A5- as we were adjusting to our rental car and had travelled over night from Canada after a 3 hour flight delay in Toronto).

We booked last minute and had requested a cot. Everything was nice and in order when we arrived not too long after booking. Easy self check-in, free parking on-site, good bed, very soft sheets, clean towels, lovely place!

There's nothing to not like really :) We only stayed one night and also had to leave early to go to the airport. We hope we didn't wake up any other guests.

The only thing was that the doors bang and that was noisey sometimes.

The facility was in a nice neighborhood, with lots of parking spaces around. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

We accidently checked into a wrong room, and the approach of "asking" us to switch rooms was not so nice. I suggest to put some chalkboards on the door of the room and write the name of the guest on it.

Very Nice Apartament near the Ocean. Ir was very fine at we Can use bikes. For travlers its very important to rest good and in this Apartaments bed was very good and comfortable. Frendly kind og helpful staff.Simple and good breakfast.
