The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were friendly and helpful. I really felt comfortable there. The location for us was also superlative since we were competing at a horse show nearby and could literally walk over to the stables to check on the horse all the time.

The one item I did not like was there was a very big metal doorstop right in the middle of the bathroom floor which I literally tripped over when I shut the door the first time as it was on the way to the toilet and sink. I realize you might wish to stop the door before it hits the wall or something else but there are other ways to do this that would offer less of a health hazard. It seems like an odd oversight in what is otherwise a very meticulously groomed facility.

What an incredible spot to unwind between Lisbon and the stunning beaches! Just a 30-minute drive from Lisbon, and only 10 minutes to breathtaking ocean views and sandy beaches, this location exceeded our expectations, especially with a little baby in tow. The rooms were impeccably clean, the beds and pillows exceptionally comfortable, and the staff across all departments were incredibly friendly.

While I appreciate the efforts of the staff to ensure a pleasant stay, I encountered a minor inconvenience during checkout. The payment terminal malfunctioned, resulting in my card being charged but the transaction not appearing in the system. Although I don't blame the employee for the issue, it did cause some unnecessary stress during the 20-minute checkout process. It would be advantageous to have amenities in the kitchen such as a dishwasher and washing machine.

There could be a little more attention to detail in room service. The quality of food is great and the staff great….but little things missing eg cutlery, napkins, milk, things that are important are often over looked.

It was a big , comfortably sized room with attached Kitchen facilities. A small enclosed garden was nice. Staff was courteous and warmly welcomed on arrival. The property is huge and green cover is awesome.

Location wise, it is not close to city center or to the beach. It is close to Golf course so unless you are there for golf , you would need a car. The kitchen could have been better stocked with utensils.

The location was amazing, felt very exclusive and perfect location to walk to the beach through the beautiful neighbourhood. The staff were really polite and really helpful and knowledgable. I had managed to forget my converter even though I was there for business and they loaned me one which was sooo kind. The room service was lovely and better quality in our opinion than the restaurant. The pool was fantastic and the gardens and restaurants calm enough to work from or take a stroll around which was was so relaxing. The staff here were also the right level of attentive - leaving you alone when you needed peace and being right there when you needed something. All in all a really nice hotel.

I had a used contact lense on the floor in my room which was a bit disconcerting - and all my colleagues got upgraded but I arrived on the Saturday so paid for a bigger room as my sister travelled with me. I also had breakfast in the restaurant as I had a meeting and so didn’t order the buffet but off al la Carte - it took an age to arrive which was frustrating as I was on a time limit and quite frankly wasn’t very nice and not what I expected. The facilities where amazing though and so was the location so I’d definately go there again but for such an expensive hotel there were just a few little finesses to make it feel extra special.

The original room that was offered did not present the views that were represented in the photographs. Staff very quickly rectified the problem, offering us an alternative. The pool was windy and therefore cool

Beautiful hotel, the grounds and pool area were very relaxing. The Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful and really made our stay special. Food excellent and Spa lovely.

Once you’re in the hotel the decor means you could be anywhere in the world. I expected it to reflect Portugal more.

Only blemish was reception not returning missed calls. Understand that they might be occupied at the first time of calling but to call every 45 minutes (total of 3 times) and not get any response was a downside.

This is a beautiful hotel. Trees and beautiful well looked after plants. Easy free parking. They have a scale, ATM and there’s also a machine selling cigarettes for those who smokes.

Gym is small and not well equipped. When we’re here in summer they showed live football but unsubscribed in winter to save cost.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Travelled with my elderly Mum ( 92) so hotel were very attentive to any of her needs. Provided us with a wheelchair for my Mum during our stay. It made it easier for her to get to pool area .
