Excellent location a 6minute walk from bus terminal and a continente supermarket across the road where a nice economical breakfast, coffee and snacks can be bought. Restaurants nearby. Don’t worry about no aircon, we were there in a heatwave and the fan is totally effective in cooling the room. The gentleman at reception is kind and helpful, and speaks good English, a pleasure when we checked in. So much to see in Coimbra, and he kindly gave us a map of the city. The rooms are basic but we were out all day and had a comfortable sleep each of the 3 nights. It served its purpose and we were happy!

Two or three flights of stairs up might be a problem to some people. For us it was just once a day, manageable, and we are over 50.

the Hotel is in a great location and I have used it on many occasions, normally as a solo traveler Staff are very helpful and the rooms always seem very well cleaned the hotel is close to lots of nice paces to eat and a supermarket right over the road

I found the room this time very small considering it was for two single beds, and I know there are rooms that are larger and only contain a single double bed, I personal would swap them around

Inexpensive. Clean. Located between bus station and where the major sites are. Lots of cafes and restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Stairs! The building is old and not updated. The receptionist, while friendly and polite was not too terribly knowledgeable about tourist activities.

The location in the centre of town and close to where we had to go. The communal kitchen was very useful as was the Continente supermarket across the road. Even though it's on a main thoroughfare it was quiet during the night. Comfortable bed and everything worked, good hot shower.

It's basic but what do you expect for the price.

The place is a bit old but it was a Clean place with a comfortable bed and nice rooms and friendly service and hot water definitely works! The location was great so close to supermarkets and go downtown or train station not that far! Nice location not uphill as well !

It needs to improve with the kitchen utensils and electric kettle !

Stayed for one night, in the delux double room. Had a lovely balcony and private bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. I could walk everywhere, shopping across the road and a communal kitchen available. Also managed to get some work done in the dining room. Very happy and will gladly repeat.

The guesthouse is in a great location, it is very near the bus and train station, it is very clean, bathrooms are always super clean. Cleanliness 10/10. All the staff are very friendly. Loved our stay at Guest House Infante Dom Henrique. Highly recommended

Loved everything and there is nothing at all which we disliked.

I would recommend this guest house. The staff responded to my messages. I arrived after the closing time but the receptionists gave clear and simple instructions how to get into my room. Amazing I must say. Room, toilet(although shared), kitchen etc very clean. Location is also good.

We really liked the location, everything was clean there.

The thing that was missing in the room is hair dryer. You can take it at the reception but we didn't know. We stayed only one night there. So if you need one ask downstairs.

Good to stay when in town ; watch the price for rooms , I recommend 1 st floor when checking in , Lots of stairs otherwise . Lady's at front desk are so nice. Overall it's a good safe place.
