Because our room was on the second floor (and so had a wonderful view) we had to go up a steep set of stairs. That would not be an issue for younger guests.

Would have been nice to have a door on the toilet. The towels were very thin Compared to the decorative style and furniture of the communal spaces the bedroom was nothing special

Great location within easy walking distance of virtually everything we wanted to see and visit in this beautiful city. We could park our car in a safe and free parking lot only 3/4 minutes (walking) away from the hostel. Easy and friendly check-in. Nice, clean and comfortable room with its ensuite bathroom. Excellent and generous breakfast with lots of choices. Overall, we were delighted with our 2-night stay. Very Typical is great value for money. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, lovely people. Elvas is a great town with old fashioned hospitality. The restaurants serve traditional Portuguese food in a traditional environment and are great value. The forts are fascinating and interpreted well. All said, you could come just to stay in this Alojamento. It's sparklingly clean, great facilities and shared spaces and very nicely furnished. A great breakfast and super helpful owners and staff

Nothing, it was all great

Very comfortable and clean. Great location. All hostel space smelled really nice. Staff was very attentive and kind, always available. The rooms were very clean and sweat. We had private bathroom, AC and TV with many available channels. Bed was very comfortable. Absolutely no noise from the other rooms. Breakfast offered variety of coffee, juice, vegetable milk, bread, cake, croissants, fruit, etc. There was an outdoor space to enjoy the warm nights and to hang out with the cats.

Very beatifully decorated and we received a very warm welcome. Breakfast was quite good, there were even vegan options. Option to cook in the fully equipped kitchen and chill afterwards on the terrace together with their cute cats.

Steep stairs right at the entrance. Parking is in 5 min walking distance over cobblestones, but hey it's very typical in the old town.

Super central location, you can do everything walking inside Elvas Room was clean and spaceous Breakfast was fine, and good coffee ! Nice patio-garden to sit on a warm evening

Difficult to park the car close by. The bathroom was clean and functional, yet a bit cramped

Staff were incredible helpful and kind. We received a room upgrade which was a lovely gesture from the hostel. We appreciated it very much. Wish we could have stayed more days!

Great location, super clean, this small boutique hotel has very spacious nicely decorated rooms and great common spaces that make it very confortable. Staff very helpful and gave us good recomendations

Lovely location. Gorgeous house. Super staff. Nice breakfast. Beds sweet, but mattresses not good. Also, someone else’s air conditioner or other machine came on periodically throughout the night. The machine was on the terrace below our window. Periods of peace then periods of noise. A bit annoying. So not a good night. Otherwise, it was a super place to stay.

Please improve mattresses. Please remove or switch off machine on terrace which goes on and off through the night.
