Staff is very friendly and hospitable, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast was great, although a bit messy because the hotel was full. The SPA is simply a MUST!

The hotel facilities are a bit challemging, with 3 different blocks, that require some time to fully understand how to move around. We stayed for New Year's Eve and had dinner at the hotel. The main facility was fully booked, so the hotel arranged dinner at the Pizzeria, but the fish was cold and rubbery. The meat was cold overcooked, and with too much spice. At 23h45 I had to ask the staff if we were supposed to spend midnight seating at the table... and they apologised for the slight (big I have to say) delay... and that we were supposed to see the fireworks at the pool, but due security reasons, plans changed, and we now had to move to the main building.... Needless to say that I feel I have overpaid for New Year’s Eve dinner!

It had everything on hand and all of its facilities were of a high standard and a good range of variety. The suites can easily accommodate 2 adults comfortably with privacy and space. I was on my own so it was a bit pricey for me but I wanted to accompany my daughter and her family and my extra bed space meant my granddaughter could stay in my suite sometimes which made things easier all round. I had a fabulous view ideal for my sketching and painting while there. The guided walks are excellent as are the swimming pools and range of high quality restaurants. Wonderful trip!

Not always easy to find my way around it!

The spa experience was good, though not all facilities were available. Our treatments however were superb. Our suite was more than we expected and had 2 bathrooms. Very spacious with water and coffee/ tea topped up daily. Staff were both friendly and helpful and I found communication via the hotel WhatsApp extremely handy., especially as the responses were very prompt.

Dining options were somewhat restricted and given the location of the hotel it would have been useful if details of local eateries were shared on checking in.

We absolutely loved staying in this hotel! It was very peaceful, cosy and relaxing. We loved the attention of the personnel, a very spacious room with a small kitchenette, the spa and all the treatments we took, the detox water available every day at the reception. We loved the food for breakfast but found it too repetitive after several days. So it would be nice if the breakfast could change a bit every morning. But all in all, we were very happy with our stay. We definitely recommend that hotel. If staying inland rather than on the beach is what you're looking for, it's perfect.

A bit more variety for breakfast would be welcome.

Our stay was faultless. Very friendly staff...Large suite with amazing mountain views from the large, sunny terrace and 2 full size bathrooms and kitchenette....Fabulous breakfast.especially loved the honeycomb! Great facilities too. Although situated over 3 blocks we found our way around easily, contrary to some reviews I read before we stayed. There are maps and good signage everywhere and plenty of staff always on hand to help! We will definitely return and highly recommend!

The only point I would make is we noticed a lot of children being allowed to run around unsupervised in the breakfast room and jumping on guests trying to swim in the pool. However this is no fault of the hotel but rather reflects on the parents so I cannot mark the hotel down in any way even though it was annoying at times.

The place is absolutely beautiful. Loved how big and grand it was. Breakfast was really good, best orange juice in the world lol Kids club staff (Tiago, Ruben, Marianna and Isa) are amazing and were so energetic and helpful with the kids. I know they are supposed to be, but they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Kids pool is great and we loved that there were so many families there. We didn’t even go to the other pool as there was a better vibe at the kids pool. The restaurants on site were delicious and reasonably priced. You just feel classy when you rock up to this hotel and you’re treated like a VIP. Rooms were a great size and very clean (service staff are very thorough). Overall, just a beautiful experience and will look at coming back next year.

The staff was very friendly.Aways available to help in any special request. The hotel is very prepared to receive kids. The buffet from the hotel is really good. There was variety in the type of food, a lot of different options to choose from, the deserts were also really good. The bed was actually one of the most comfortable that I have already slept on. It was huge! The all inclusive drinks were also nice prepared and we had some good options.

The only two things I did not like so much was the fact that we had to take 2 different elevators everything we wanted to go to eat or go to the main pool or have a drink. The hotel has a lot of floors and it's huge, I understand that it is necessary but they could have at least more than 1 elevador in each building so we do not have to wait everytime when it's full. Another thing that bothered me was the lack of sun loungers at the pool. Specially because a lot of guests just left their pool towel all day to mark their place even though they were not using the pool for a lot of hours.

The welcome at reception, the view from the restaurant, the facilities and the swimming pool. I went for a walk with one of your guides. Great unique offering. The breakfast buffet was an incredible spread. The external restaurant at the bottom of the drive way was fantastic, traditional and tasty. There are also other interesting food offers a short drive away. The whole team at the hotel were ever so friendly and always willing to look after our needs they help create a friendly, professional ambience. Thank you team.

Two things - The view from our balcony(1908)). We didn’t book a mountain panoramic mega view but looking at neither the pretty gardens you have or anything other than another side of the hotel block really wasn’t that inspiring. But, there is nothing that anyone could do about this. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable. You kindly provided a mattress topper, but that didn’t really improve it much.

We had a huge suite including a bedroom, sleeper couch and two bathrooms. Nice, for those who prefer to eat in is a little kitchen with all necessary amenities, for making basic meals, hot drinks etc. The outdoor patio is also nice. And we loved that in winter you could use the covered indoor pool. The spa is also very special. Oh, and the breakfast was excellent - a huge choice, something for everyone!

Our super king bed was great, but the mattress and pillows definitely need upgrading, And the TV in our bedroom didn't work.

The service and all the employees are impeccable. Special mention to Tiago from the bar.He is very accommodating , helpful and always with a smile. And the highlight was , when one of the employees personally went to our room to hand in a birthday greeting card from the hotel for my husband.It might be only a little add on for the hotel, but for the guests it’s lot extra miles. Only might be they could put a peg near the entrance door for the jackets to hang up. So that guest wouldn’t need to hang jackets inside the closet with clean clothes.
