Staff all super nice which is in Portugal overall normal .. regular visitor opinion Location Hotel good for us as we had a rental car. Surprise was that nearby large shopping center was open till 23:00 ! one rainy evening made for a nice time spent there incl. a Steak House meal.. Breakfast was with fresh produce and much appreciated by us ( English breakfast choice was not the same ) but we didn't mind. I opted for a de-luxe double with extra m3 and was not disappointed as we got a top floor corner room with windows at two sides ! which made it spacious and a view to the ocean AND to the main bridge in Lisbon, very pleased !! I chose the Hotel a.o. because it had garage parking for only 4 euro a day but at the time we were there I could find free parking every day at the Hotel or in the direct neighborhood.

Can't think of anything Never had a bad experience with any of the people I encountered in the 35 years I come to Portugal with over 18 travels in the last 10 years.

brilliant happy staff - room was large and extremely comfortable - we had the room with the wrap around balcony with views of the 25 April bridge in the distance - cleaners really do keep the place clean. breakfast always varied and fresh.

hotel is looking a bit tired and could do with a little freshening up in places - bit way out location wise but was easy to get an uber taxi to the train station and go exploring

The rooms were clean, bed super comfortable, staff friendly and the breakfast food was delicious. The gym is small but enough.

The location is super windy, so unfortunately we didn’t enjoy the pool. We had to wait 1h in queue for breakfast, it was organised but some staff were missing and so it was overwhelming for the staff serving. I’m guessing there’s not enough tables for the guests. And the steam room wasn’t working.

Hotel in safe area with free parking. Clean room with good beds and private bathroom and small electric water kettle. Good extensive breakfast buffet. All the staff were professional and friendly. Good value for money.

Bathtub plug was not working and therefore could only use the shower. Although the soap dispenser was fine, the shampoo dispenser was as good as empty.

The breakfast was varied and tasty. The room was spacious and clean. The aircon worked well. The restaurant men was simple but quite plesant and well priced.

The gym was disappointing and useless unless you want cardio.

The breakfast buffet offers plenty of possibilities to choose from although the possibility to choose for another type of egg dish should be given. The same choice came every day. Good bakery display.

The unavailability of the swimming pool down to maintenance for the whole stay was a disappointment as it would have been a perfect way to relax, although the weather wouldn't have allowed a daily use anyway.

Car park directly under the hotel. The cuisine in the restaurant is excellent, but the spaghetti bolognese needs some improvement. The breakfast was above average by Portuguese standards, bravo!

I don't love the shower in the bath. Recommend replacing the bathtubs with a shower, would be more in line with the 4 stars.

The room is very nice and clean! Sheets are with a very good quality! comfortable bed! And it was very quite at night.

The only thing that I would change is coffee machines in the restaurant. Good coffee is a very important part of breakfast. I tried to pick americano, cappuccino. Both did not taste like coffee. So my husband and me went to drink a coffee in cafeteria near by. Melon also was not fresh.

The hotel and the neighbourhood is very calm and peaceful. The stuff is very warm, helpful, friendly and welcoming

I think the 4 stars ranking doesn't match with the facilities compared with another hotels with the same ranking I have been to. The breakfast is good but should be better

We loved the fact we had extra bed regardless asking for it!:) was nice touch. Beds comfortable. Bfest was good also:) with little bit of TLC in bathrooms would be reaaaally good hotel
