Spacious classical rooms. Excellent receptionists. Plenty of good restaurants walking distance. Very quiet. Very good breakfast

We have stayed here before I like the location across from the palace. I am able to see the palace before the bus tours come.. to be all by yourself and a gorgeous big palace what could be better ? my husband enjoyed the easy access to park for jogging. I like the fact that it was quieter than staying in the busy square sintra we can park right in front of the Posada and I know it is extremely difficult in SINTRA a number of good restaurants located nearby huge breakfast on a beautiful trestle table in the stone breakfast room filled with baking treats. Posada is always a treat. Good recommendation for seniors

It was a bit far from the airport so we needed to get Up early to catch a flight the next day we miss breakfast this time, but they packed us a paper bag lunch

The room was lovely, the little extras were great...Bottled, water, refrigerator and a safe. The breakfast was superb couldn't fault it`, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The pillows weren´t to my liking, just couldn´t get comfortable.. The mattress was old and dipped noticeably even with a reasonable topper on it. Staffing on reception was a bit lacking at times, having to wait for someone to attend, from other duties., but very apologetic when they returned.

Great stay. The mattress was freaking awesome. Often, hotels go for mattresses that are way too soft; the perfectly firm mattress was divine for me. It was the best sleep experience of the whole travel.

The water pressure for a shower is really bad, borderline annoying. I can imagine other guests might deduct points for this, but it is a holiday stay, no need to stress too much about it, shower slower.

Great location away from the hectic downtown but definitely close enough to uber or take the train and a fairly straight shot to the airport. Lovely historic property and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and a credit to the hotel. Lovely park close by to go walking and some excellent little local restaurants 3 minutes walk away. Loved the location.

Would have loved a hair dryer and a clothes iron in the room but ended up embracing the wild haired wrinkled look as a fashion statement.

The location is superb with lots of interesting adventures available from the base location. Everything about this hotel speaks 'quality' the food, the comfort and the friendliness and courteousness of all the staff. Would certainly be happy to come back for another visit.

I liked it’s history, the interior was classy and well maintained. The rooms were spacious and clean. I liked being able to cross the street to visit the Palace and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute walk. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Other than the Palace, I don’t know if there’s much to do in close proximity since ours was a one night stay. So the location might be my only dislike in terms of a longer stay. Renting a car would resolve that problem and parking is readily available.

We booked a double bed and instead got two singles, without warning or the ability to change this. The neighbourhood towards the train station has seen better days; it is dirty and not maintained (this does not apply to the hotel itself, which is very nice). Rent a car for your stay, we had to do this our second day there.

The food (breakfast) was amazing, especially different types of coffee and their traditional cakes. The breakfast is also very well served and selected so there is everything that you need. The staff was kind and helpful. The room itself is spacious with high ceilings and a bathtub.

The place is a beautiful historical monument, but there is very little information or content around. The full potential of the building is not used. Furniture in the room is outdated and the lights are behaving weird or dying (at least one lamp died during our stay in the room). It is not possible to open the windows in the room so the air is extremely dry, especially at night.

Extremely beautiful hotel in a historic building, with an excellent breakfast service. But the most positive aspect of the experience was the receptionist Louisa. She was extremely kind and helpful, she took time to explain the most important cites in the city and give us a little history lesson. I definitely recommend!!!
