A real hidden gem! Absolutely gorgeous house in tranquil surroundings, every piece of furniture seems special and the craftsmanship really caught my eye. Breakfast was wonderful, made with fresh ingredients from their own garden and coffee from a proper espresso machine. Great hospitality, Tina and Christoph are wonderful hosts with interesting stories and useful local recommendations. An unexpected but wonderful bonus was also the animals, hens and baby chickens clucking around in the garden, a rooster with a lot on his mind, Terra the cautious but lovely dog, and Minerva, the stray cat that captured my heart <3 I hope I get the opportunity to return to this place one day.

Access to the property was a little tricky for us without a car, but we were prepared for this from reading previous reviews. Pay attention to your own map and be ready to maybe help the taxi drivers navigate.

I honestly can't recommend this place enough. Christoph and Tina are so thoughtful and considerate, ready to greet us from the moment we stepped through the door, to huge homemade breakfasts with food fresh from their farm. The room was more than spacious and comfortable, the common spaces equipped with all homely needs and the pool more than refreshing at the end of the warm days. This stay was absolutely magical and I would love to return someday.

I struggle to think of anything. The road to access the property isnt fully sealed but even smaller cars or taxis wont have an issue getting to the location.

On the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary, my husband and I went to Portugal for the first time 🎉🥳 we found a wonderful place, literally an oasis of peace 🥰 The hosts are very nice and take great care of their guests and their house is wonderful in vintage style 👌 My heart was stolen by Dalila, who stole she puts her whole heart into beautifully decorated and incredibly tasty breakfasts. Dalila takes great care of cleanliness and greets guests every day with a beautiful smile 🤗 it was a dream vacation away from the city. Delicious orange juice 🍊 is prepared from oranges from their orchard.

Our stay with Christoph and Tina was exceptional, their house is really lovely, the room we booked was really spacious and bright, same goes for the bathroom. They put great effort into making all their guests welcome and the breakfast was really amazing, with great fresh bread, all types of homemade jams, and a great variety of local cheese. We will definitely come back!

Arriving in early spring we enjoyed every minute at Casa dos Ventos situated in the lush green and peaceful countryside. The hosts are ever so committed and provided us with plenty of advice. We so much enjoyed the lovingly prepared copious breakfasts in a convivial and most welcoming atmosphere. Thank you very much Tina and Christoph.

Beautiful property Large spacious room with very large en-suite bathroom and fabulous balcony

The drive to the property has to be mentioned. We chose not to hire a car on this trip but Uber really struggled to locate the property. A locally recommended taxi company were great but much much more than Uber quoted.

Breakfast was superb and the hosts were really amicable, we enjoyed our stay! You might even meet the small parrot like bird they are having as a pet.

The location is at countryside, the approaching road was pretty narrow but when you get there, you got all the peace of the countryside. Approach from west was much easier though.

The atmosphere, the amazing stories Christof and Tina told us (ask about the dolphins!) and the tranquility of the grounds surrounding the beautiful house with swimmingpool. The breakfast is superfresh and the coffees from the Italian coffeemachine are splendid. Did I already told you about the tips for trips Christof has to offer? And everything interesting is so nearby: Olhâo, Faro and Trevira. Fine cities to just stroll around. When arriving at the mansion you have to look over the sandy and little bit bumpy road. But then splendor opens up to you. We highly recommend a stay at Casa die Ventos!

The hosts and breakfast were awesome. We very much enjoyed having breakfast with the other guests. The room was clean and comfortable.

Having to leave the bedroom to get to our private bathroom. The toilet was not flushing well (they did say that it is going to be replaced). And the access road is a little challenging.

Great place to stay and relax. Lots of interesting cities and places to visit nearby. Very warm and kind welcome and an amazing breakfast, with fresh fruit and cheeses, delicious coffee and much more. We felt 'at home' within hours and the availability of the big kitchen with fridge is very handy. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the garden and the pool.

The road to the house is bumpy and there is a lot of trash on it. The first impression was a bit of a shock but.. the road leads to a great place!
