The pool was great! Best way to relax after a hot day out.

The way the building is set up: you have to go through labyrinth like corridor and take kind detour to access the breakfast area, the pool, etc. It gets really annoying. They also have odd rules about pool towel. We went to keep ours for the whole week but they requested that we return them every night. As a result, it took 15 min every morning to go around, get towels and such before setting by the pool (the towel are in the spa area.. a different place) 🤦‍♀️ Also the breakfast felt way over price 🤷‍♀️

There were extensive building works being carried out at the back of the hotel to build a new swimming pool area ( which we were not made aware of either by the hotel or booking.com) they started early and it meant using the current pool was not relaxing as it surrounded by builders drilling, welding and dust. Our room was also up a set of stairs which had a light using a sensor - it was not sensitive enough and i fell on the stairs as it was too dark to navigate safely.

Only that we wait until 4:15 pm to check in because the room wasn’t ready knowing that we make our reservation before 2 months but the presidential suite was really super clean and the staff give us a drink for free in the restaurant because of our waiting but it was hard to wait more than one hour after a long trip maybe they have a staff shortage they have to arrange it because people can’t wait too much to make their check in knowing that check out was 12 so 4 hours and half to clean was tooooo much

Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking good under cover and safe. Excellent breakfast, good range refilled often. Dining room pleasant to sit in with attractive view over pool which had range of seating and beds. We did not wish to use the spa so can’t comment. Both Gaia and Porto were delightful places to visit.

Hotel located a little out of Gaia town and nine minutes walk from tram into central Porto. We used cheap and quick Ubers to get from hotel to places we wanted to be

The staff at the Hotel are true legends! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Ruben, Luisa and another gentleman at the reception were super helpful in putting together a surprise for my mum. The staff at the bar were amazing as well - shoutout to Marcelo. The free shuttle to town is a plus - Akyo was a perfect gentleman. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Porto.

We used the free shuttle to downtown Porto, which was very handy. The spa pool was gorgeous, warm and calm, though you have to purchase a cap at 5E, which is a bit silly. The breakfast was wonderful, with beautiful fresh fruits and lovely pastries, as well as a few hot items. The overall hotel is peaceful and quiet, a bit of paradise in Porto. The rooms are exceptionally quiet, and very dark, which is great for sleeping. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I rarely give top marks across every category, but this place truly deserves to be an exception. The staff went above and beyond with their warmth and professionalism, and the facilities were nothing short of outstanding: very well maintained, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable.

Only improvement would be to provide a swim pool cap for the indoor pool.

As i asked for a double bed , the hotel provided us with an amazing room where the bathroom and the bedroom were separated by some stairs that gave and extra notch of privacy and the bed was amazing, super confortable.

i have to say that the thing i would change has nothing to do with the hotel or staff, was the weather that we had a great day to wake up to falling rain. our room for someone with moving restriction would not be the best but not a problem for us.

The hotel is a little way from the centre but front desk are excellent tutours for Uber use… Breakfast although good at 18 euros each was definitely a bit pricey …

The hotel was lovely, the location was great and walkable distance to the river. The pool was a great relaxing touch. The staff were incredible, they couldn’t have done more for our group with any needs and requirements we had. Thank you!

The only negative thing is the rooms are dark and could do with better lighting.
