This was our second visit, having stayed there for a few days a year ago. Christina is the ultimate good host. Her bubbly nature, her easy smile, and her obvious great interest to provide guests with an enjoyable and memorable stay are the most salient attributes to this fine haven. The beds and the rooms are comfortable, the bath facilities are modern, the air comfort is yours to regulate with a modern mini- split unit. Breakfast is abundant. ,with even some of Christina çonfections. In short this place is sheer delight. 10/10 from us. Carol & Ralph, Canada

That we only got to spend 3 days!

Our host Catarina speaks excellent English which is very helpful. We communicated our late arrival and she went out of her way to meet us. In the mornings Catarina also provided a varied and plentiful breakfast. Our room was traditionally furnished but had a comfortable bed and newly renovated wet room. The guest house is located up a steep hill so you need to be prepared to climb but it is possible to plan to use the metro. There is a good locals restaurant near the closest metro stop. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Exceptionally well managed guesthouse. Property and host were both very gracious. Guesthome was in immaculate condition and exceptionally clean. Breakfast included fruits and breads mests and cheese and homemade cakes. Kitchen available for guest use (although we didn’t use) Secure off street parking a real bonus. Host was very helpful with great recommendations in the area which enhanced our visit!

Steep hills are typical for the area. A littke bit of a hike up from the river, however we were okay with a little workout every day. For those not wanting to take on the hike, ubers and metro and hop on/off offer another alternative

The host was really accommodating. They kindly allowed us to check in when we arrived early. Best thing is the private car park which allows you to drop your vehicle and tour around the city with public transport. Close to tram station. Spacious room and comfy beds.

The noise from traffic but it is not the fault of the property owner. Tap in the bathroom sometimes stopped but it recovered itself quickly.

This bed & breakfast met all my expectations. My wife and I left Lisbon for a road trip through Portugal and Porto was our final destination. We had a rental car and this place offers parking which is a big plus because Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto are difficult places to park vehicles. The location is excellent too. Just down the street, you are in the heart of Gaia, with all the good vibes of the city, nice restaurants and cool things to do. Also, it is very close to Jardim do Morro - a place that people enjoy a good drink and you can see a gorgeous sunset with the view of Porto in the background. The B&B is ultra clean and roomy, with comfortable mattress, and tasty breakfast with delicious homemade cakes. The hosts, Catarina and Fernando are very friendly and we had a good talk.

Very nice place, Carina is an excellent host, Lovely breakfast, loved the banana cake :-)! Quiet terrace, Balcony at the room, great having had a private and secure parking spot! I also liked the location at Gaia side very much, awesome view down at the river and it´s not far to walk. Just have to remind that it is going straight uphill for the way home ;-) (or pick a cab for some Euro) but that´s Porto... :-))

Everything fine, I have no complaints really.

Breakfast was delicious and such a good variety. Catarina was very kind and accomodating, she truly made our stay exceptional! She also has great recommendations for places to eat and activities in the area!

Wifi was pretty slow but there is good service.

The room was very comfortable idea for a short stay the breakfast was enjoyable the host was so helpful speaking perfect English did help us very much, the secured parking area was at the rear of the property with easy access to the property for unloading

The was a little traffic noise at times also quite a lot of building work going on but this is out of the control of the owners

Great hostess, Catarina gave us plenty of tips and very pleasant and helpful. Wonderful breakfast , with fresh juices, fresh fruit, plenty of food available plus excellent homemade cake ! Very clean and lovely room. Good value for money. Thanks Catarina !!

Catarina, the host, was more than welcoming and kind. Very professional and service minded. Lovely breakfast, excellent coffee.

A little bit to much traffic om the street, but able to sleep well.
