A beautiful heritage hotel with a lovely outdoor courtyard for drinks. Our room was large and extremely comfortable, and the location is near the river, museums, restaurants and shops.

Service was mixed - excellent at check in, but poor (not just German slow!) on the terrace and in the bar. One young man was great when on duty, the others just chatted and messed around. Coffee at breakfast is terrible. We did like the hotel and would stay again, but these things should be better given the price and stars!

Very friendly staff, excellent included breakfast, fantastic location, wonderful bar, bellman who helped with our bags, clean rooms with lots of amenities!

We had 2 rooms. 1 was very modern and updated and the other was old and felt antiquated and both were similar in price. Make sure you try to get a newer room,

overall had a pleasant experience. The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of the city, close to everything you need, from shops and restaurants to key attractions. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help, which made the stay enjoyable. I was disappointed with the cleaning standards. Upon arrival, the shampoo and body wash in the shower were completely empty, and the overall cleanliness didn’t quite meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. With some improvement in housekeeping, this hotel could truly live up to its 5-star potential.

The bed was still messy and we had to ask for everything that was missing in the room .

All went well. Location: Superb, in the center of most things. Quick access to the S train, though we didn't use it as the main station was easily walkable, 12 min. Hotel: Solid, spacious, clean, with full services, and excellent service by the staff. I was always made to feel welcome from every staff member I encountered. The walls are soundproof. The doors and hinges were so well constructed, I had to take photos of door hinges. Breakfast buffet: The best a hotel could possibly offer with something for everyone. Certainly, do not miss breakfast, which is very easy to do if you lost six hours of he day flying from the US. I recommend making reservations with Oscars for a meal later in the day, though the magnificent and cordial staff always seemed to find an opening for us, (party of two). In summary, this has become my favorite hotel.

I had a small issue checking in. Initially, no reservation could be found by the front desk attendant. Once the attendant had more information, (through Booking.com), our reservation was found. I recommend you coordinate with your bank ahead of time to raise the limit of what can be drawn from your account. My Apple Card came in very handy, more than once. The other interesting finding is that the three elevators near the main lobby are very small, encouraging the use of very spacious staircase.

Convenient location at the heart of the city; courteous, competent service. Parking just across the street.

As it ofen is the case with older traditional houses: small window, shower where you have to climb in the bathtub. And I'm not a fan of carpet in general. We had supper at the hotel restaurant. The food was good and the waiter was friendly and competent, but he had just too many tables to serve, so it was super long. Totally understaffed. This appears to be a general problem in Frankfurt's restaurants, but you'd expect more from a 5-Star house.

Fabulous building and location. Walking distance to most things. Excellent service throughout. Ate in both restaurants. Oscars is bistro style and bright and airy. Zukaya is oriental, below ground and dark/atmospheric. A little underwhelming entrance though at Zukaya with a damp, slightly off putting smell in stairwell on arrival. Food good in both. Had a massage in the spa which was excellent.

Dated room. We booked a deluxe room which was extremely spacious, but very tired and in desperate need of refurb. Air con didn't work, neither did mini bar. Sofa/chairs had seen better days! No dressing gowns, although you can request if using spa. No shower gel in shower. Small complimentary bottle of water provided, but could have done with more. Ordered bottle from room service and it cost 22 euros!

Location so easy to walk to the Aldstadt and the river. Also liked the Terrace and Authors Bar. Room size was great too. Check out at 12pm was marvellous with our flights!

We gave feedback to you that our room hadnt been serviced properly when we arrived. The bathroom hadn't been stocked up with shampoo and conditioner and the pots in the room had obviously been used which was so disappointing for a five star hotel. Room service was prompt when we phoned to get this fixed. Also we didn't like the shower over the bath as this is a safety hazard. We would have preferred a room with a separate shower but were not offered this and didn't realise that our room had the shower over the bath. The depth of climbing over the bath into the shower and slipperyness to get out is a real problem.

The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxing elegance. The checking in procedure was friendly, courteous and helpful. This is a large hotel and as such there was a walk from the elevator to the room but it was worth it. Very clean and comfortable with possible the nicest bed we've slept on in a long time. Breakfast is superb with food cooked to order if required and a huge selection to meet all tastes.

The drinks in the bar were a little pricey and we had dinner in the brasserie on the first night for convenience. While I cannot fault the food or the service which was top notch, the somellier might find a better Sauvignon Blanc for the asking price. I don't think the question of didn't like really applied to the hotel as everything was so good.

two things 1) the shower room is a bit "weird". Its normal light was dim, but then you had an option to turn on the other mode which was colorful lighting that changed color automatically on its own. Red, green, blue, purple ... like a in a bar or a disco place. You could not stop it from changing color. I find it unnecessary and somewhat inappropriate in a shower 2) Room cleaning people missed things nearly everyday. Some days, they forgot to give us new towels. Other days, they forgot to leave us with water, and on yet other days, they took the used drinking glasses but did not replace them. I had to call the front desk nearly every night to ask for those missing items. Very frustrating.
