Everything - from the moment we arrived we were greeted by professional reception staff, given a warm welcome and a cookie & bottle of water and all facilities explained. Bed nice and comfortable and bedding crisp and clean. You got a fridge to use in the room which was a bonus. The Bar staff (Jordan) was very helpful and provided great service for our evening meal and drink. Although we didn’t use the gym it looked clean and tidy and the equipment looked well serviced and up to date.

The shower curtains are a little dated. Breakfast staff weren’t very happy. The windows could us be done with a clean but I’m sure perhaps they are but it on the day we were there.

Location is great for the area. Right next to Little Tokyo. There are heaps of people and niche shops. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My electric shaver died and I desperately need a shaver, reception gave me complimentary disposable shaver and shaving cream. it's these extra attention to their customer's needs that made the Embassy my recommended hotel. The Kyoto garden is beautiful and is a bonus for staying here.

There is not enough to do within walking distant. Once you experience Little Tokyo which is the most lively area in the district, there is not much else to explore unless you have a car or spend a lot of money on Uber to take you around. This has more to do with the location and not the hotel.

We liked that it had a refrigerator and coffee maker and that it was walking distance to little Tokyo, Union Station, Angels Flight, etc. We were also very grateful that we were able to do early check-in at 1pm. The Japanese Garden is also nice. We also used the parking, even though it was $51/night we were grateful that the car was safe there.

There was police, ambulance and helicopter noise at night. I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely cleaning staff. Great location for our local event, a wedding across the street. Decent in-house coffee.

Front desk staff was sometimes clueless. Check in was delayed. Parking was pricey so we did not rent a car.

Location is central and room size is spacious with a very comofortable bed.

Situated near Little Tokyo in Downtown LA, this was a better experience than I expected.

I would have liked to stay longer, but they were completely,booked.. Everything else was.great thats why I wanted to stay longer The staff was fabulous, very helpful and professional. I was apprehensive at first given the downtown location, however, the location actually enhanced the experience. I truly enjoyed my stay.

The cookies were amazing. The location was good since there were many options available outside the restaurant. The garden was serene. The room was large. Sally checked in with me to see how things were going and offered me an extra blanket. My husband enjoyed the gym.

The windows were very dirty, the chair next to the bathroom stuck out and I kicked it at night, the bed was a bit too firm for me, and the parking was very expensive. The area getting to the hotel was a bit sketchy.

location access to the city

the water was cut off I extended my stay another day and was not notified on my last day the water would be off. I would have booked elsewhere had I knew, they did make reasonable accommodations for the time being. I’d much rather had been able to take a shower before my flight and get as able to see more of the city but was not able to.

Good location for walking around with many stores and restaurants nearby. The rooms are a nice size however bathroom is rather small. We had a garden view room with city lights at night… too bad the windows were sooo dirty. Nice, inviting lobby bar area with sports on tvs and friendly staff.

The cost for parking per day is outrageous! $54, yikes! AND check in time is way too late…4pm!
