This place is amazing. The staff was super nice from the front desk to the kitchen to the house keeping. This hotel has beautiful views of the ocean. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony looking at the ocean. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast included was good. They have coffee, hot tea ,hot chocolate to grab whenever. Next to the ice machine they have water so you can fill your wayer bottle. The shower has shampoo, conditioner, body wash inside, so you don't have to bring any. The room also has lotion, hand soap, even has qtips. I do recommend this place , we will definitely be back for sure

Everything! The room was fabulous. Plenty of space, we had a king with a nice sofa. Bathroom was very large with a huge double sink counter with room for all your toiletries. Deck was great - with deck chairs high enough to see over the railing! Great walking paths. Friendly helpful staff. Although we didn’t use the pool or spa they were in great shape. My husband used the gym - small - but it had everything you need to get a full workout. Breakfast had lots of choices. I’m a tea drinker and the room had a hot water pot and tea bags! That was a pleasant surprise.

This is probably our 5th or 6th stay. Sadly parking which you have unlimited space was charged. I initially was given an assigned room overlooking the pool then a room facing the ocean to the right of the lobby. When I asked for a better room they raised the initial offered rate. I then booked w/ Expedia who assigned me a "Pier View Room" with a rate of $478.04 (2 nights) I did not get the Pier View (under construction) and parking charge was not disclosed. Hot tub was luke room

The property was gorgeous and in a great location with amazing views of the ocean. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable with all of the nice extras like keurig coffee maker, instant hot water kettle, robes. The patios were great to hang out on and watch the waves and the seagulls and pelicans. On our last night we saw dolphins. The pool and hot tub were great. The staff were all amazing since we first walked in. Ishmael was friendly and was able to switch us to a first floor since my mom has a bad knee and we wanted ocean front. He also gave us restaurant suggestions and explained where everything was on the property. Even the landscapers had a smile on their faces in passing. There were always workers around maintaining the property so the resort fee is worth it. The breakfast setup was nice but the hot food could be one step up in my opinion. Overall we had an amazing stay and already want to come back.

Not much, grounds were amazing . There was a strong smell of pelican/seagull feces close to the gazebo area but I’m not sure there is much that can be done about that. I would suggest maybe planting more lavender bushes to help with the smell?

We spent 2 nights here and would've happily stayed longer! The hotel is situated right on the coast, the rooms are spacious, with balcony, big comfy beds and fabulous bathrooms, we had wonderful views across the ocean and up the coast (when the fog cleared!) Breakfast was varied though the breakfast room did get very busy. The pool area is wonderful, the heated pool is huge. Pool towels are provided. The only downside is the smell from the nesting birds.

The parking charge, just seems a bit daft that its either not baked into the rate or absorbed by the hotel.

Stunning View, Amazing breakfast with a great choice of omelette/porridge, snacks, waffles with great strawberry jam. I also loved that Nature Reserve is just behind the hotel - 5 minutes walk and you have great trails with gorgeous views. The restaurant nearby (Ventana Grill) is also great. I also loved that the room had small kitchenette and a kettle! I really valued the opportunity to make some tea for myself right in the room.

Our view was fantastic! Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The pool looked great! I room was recently renovated and up to date. Loved the binoculars in the room too. Having a balcony to sit and watch the sunset was fantastic.

Parking fees. I think that is just greedy. I can see if you had Valet but not for self parking in a lot with a huge amount of debris and building materials.

We loved the location of the hotel, the views were breathtaking. We loved the binoculars provided, a very nice touch. I enjoyed yoga on the cliffs every day of our stay, it was the perfect beginning for my day. We also enjoyed the breakfast included in the price of the room.

The outside smell was very unpleasant due to the birds living on the cliff. I believe the parking lot and outdoor hotel grounds should be washed regularly to minimize the smell.

The oceanfront view room was amazing! There was the small patio with chairs to sit and watch the waves, and then an easy path down to the gardens and gazebo. The extra touch of providing binoculars in room made ocean-watching for the otters and dolphins my wife's favorite. The ability to leave the screen door open and hear the waves at night was soothing.

Breakfast was a big improvement on the morning fare in other hotels because there were options that were low sugar, wholemeal bread was available and the coffee was good. The view in the oceanfront room spectacular and worth the extra cost make sure to request a second floor room. The pool was absolutely gorgeous, heated, supersized and deep.

There were little things like sticking doors and no lift that may impact some people but for us it was perfect.
