I ordered two rooms just the day before asking for 2 rooms, 2 beds each room, downstairs and close together. They said they did not have that information from who I booked the rooms with but he did his best and they met all of our requests! This was very much appreciated. Gave 1 point off because I needed the air conditioner and couldn't find one and windows were bolted closed. Might benefit from new windows. It is not unheard of for not everyone having AC conditioners in this area. Opening the windows would have been good enough. Just opened the door but had a 2 yrs old and my dog who had to keep close eye on so they wouldn't take off. Thank you

It's an older hotel and could use an update but I recently stayed at the 4th Motel 6 recently and that one has really gotten run down.

This room, #101, was generally better than most Motel-6 rooms. It was a corner room with a large extra window and plenty of sunshine. It has a hot-tub! The king bed is very comfortable. It has a microwave and refrigerator! It is right on the street, about a block from the pier, so you can watch beach lovers walking. The peer, my favorite deli and other eating places are within a short walk.

When the neighbors dropped something heavy on the ground, the room actually shook. Not just noise, but movement. I question whether this old room is structurally sound. It would be a fantastic place for a romantic stay only if your partner enjoys "roughing it" and camping. It shows its age, but the location is paradise.

Location location location. Steps away from the beach. Allows dogs! Included parking. Fantastic staff: Sam, Stephanie and Caleb all get shout outs for excellent customer service that was fast and friendly.

Amenities are limited. Remember to bring shampoo, conditioner, etc. None of this is provided. But honestly that is how they are able to keep the costs down. And who really needs those little bottles anyway. Sheets and towels were a little crisp and not in the good way. A bright light from the neighboring business shone through the small window of room 231 all night. Nothing really the motel can do about that.

I was all of 100m from the beach, and there was plenty to do within a short walk of my room. The site itself was clean, and the staff were helpful.

For a motel 6, I found the price to be higher than what the hotel facilities would support. That being said, I was there the night before Independence Day so maybe there was an element of front loading the prices to go along with the public holiday.

The blonde lady that checked me in at 4pm was so sweet and friendly! I wish I had her the 2 days I was there! Good job and thank u for being amazing

The curly hair girl in the morning was rude and argumentative! She made me think twice about staying here again! She made me feel like I was gonna steal a towel because I asked for an extra one and when I talked to her she wouldn't even give me the respect to look at me! Very rude! I don't think she liked her job or doesn't work well with the public!

Location was great, very near the beach! Lovely outdoor porch where we could eat breakfast and watch the water from there.

Only 2 flat pillows didn’t give enough support for my kind of sleeping. Perhaps for others it would be ok. It was cold at night and there was no extra blanket provided. Brrr. I asked for one at the office, and the young man found one for us.

The room was abeautiful room and location was perfect right next to everything so we didn’t need to drive we were in walking distance of the beach and stores and restaurants

The room looked like it hadn’t been used it was dusty the top of the fridge was disgusting their was hair and spots in the shower from a previous guest and sink had a bad smell that made the whole room stink so we had to keep windows open

We go to Pismo 3-4 times a year. This was the first time we stayed at Motel 6 Pacific Ocean. This is by far the best yet. Thank you so much ❤️ see you soon again. We love it. It was very clean, bed was comfortable the coffee in the morning was good. The smiling girl at the front desk is an awesome addition and very close to walk. THANKS 😊

I love how close it is to the beach. It’s like a couple minutes to the water. You’re steps away from Splash cafe, a well known restaurant with award winning clam chowder. I love staying at this location. It is Motel 6 but we spend a majority of the time outdoors enjoying the shops and sunbathing.

I wouldn’t stay here if the weather was going to be 80+ just because there was no AC, but they do provide fans. Some of the windows didn’t have coverings, I so it was a little uncomfortable and bright in the morning. We hung a towel up.

The location of the motel created the best experience in Pismo I’ve ever had. You don’t want to drive into downtown Pismo and worry parking or if you want to have a drink or two with lunch and dinner and after dinner. We literally parked the car for a day and a half and walked to all our favorite spots. We could take breaks freshen up and when ready walk a block to our next destination. Chill
