Everywhere was very clean. Staff were welcoming and very accommodating. We had our little dog with us who received a lovely welcome from all staff. There was a lovely large field area for dog walking and dogs are also allowed in the Roadchef services attached to the Hotel. If you book breakfast at time of booking you receive vouchers which can be used in any of the food outlets within the service station. There is 24hour check in which is also helpful. Pillows and bed were really comfortable. Had a great night's sleep.

Only downside we found was the proximity to the M5 tolls. Approaching from the south is okay as you leave the toll road before the pay plaza so you don't get charged but exiting the hotel is a bit more tricky to avoid paying a £10.60 toll to travel ( in our case) 1 junction. There is a back gate to the hotel which can be used to leave the property avoiding the toll which is great. The gate is remote controlled by the duty manager in the hotel so you use the intercom to ask for the gate to be opened. We had one occasion when nobody was picking up the phone In the hotel so after trying for 15 minutes, we had to use the toll road. This made us late for an appointment.

Room was clean, tea and coffee. Staff extrememly helpful and friendly, even gave dog a bag of treats. So easy to get to off the M6 Tollway and plenty of lovely area to walk the dog. Fantastic.

With Days Inn, nothing really but very disappointed in the quality of food from McDonalds. Because by the time I had settled, walked and fed dog it was about 8:30 so only McDonalds and another place serving rice boxes open. It was a two minute walk from McDonalds to my room and food was luke warm to say the best. Apart from that during normal hours great selection of food vendors.

The staff were friendly and helpful and advised us how to navigate the road closures. In the dark we had found the hotel very difficult to locate but managed to get help from the receptionist on the phone. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The shower was nice and powerful.

We were not prepared for the rear entrance to the motorway services as being the way to access the hotel. A huge green gate needs to be opened remotely by the staff. We didn’t recognise this as being the hotel entrance even though the sat nav took us there. We drove away once and looked elsewhere and wasted time, before phoning the hotel.

Booked last minute and the room was ready and set up for us. Staff on reception was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy on arrival and the heater had been put on so the room was lovely and warm for us. Had food in McDonalds in the evening and breakfast, service was quick and the tables were clean.

Bed was a little too soft but we all had a good sleep so not really much of a complaint. Only one spare pillow, could of done with an extra pillow each.

The spacious room, and it was clean. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful, even offered our dog some biscuits! The hotel made sure we had a suitable room for a disabled person which we were very grateful for. Would definitely stay again. We liked the close proximity to the Costa and Mcdonalds snacks adjoining the hotel. And the free parking was a bonus. A great wee site for the dogs too.

We had trouble sleeping due to the neighbouring room talking loud and banging on the wall for some time. As it was a busy weekend for Crufts visitors we didn't make a fuss, assuming there was dogs in the room. We did not complain to the hotel or asked to be moved. Some guests can be disrespectful unfortunately, however maybe the walls arent soundproofed. It did affect our stay somewhat, but we would still stay there again hoping we get a quieter neighbour.

The receptionist, Eraine (sp) or Eryne, was so welcoming and checked me in without any difficulty. The internet connection was satisfactory. Elaine assisted me in avoiding M6 Tall by using a back road. Ask at the reception back road which takes you to an industrial estate i think the road is called Elaine Lane As well, the cleaners were very friendly and accommodating. When I met them on my way out, I could feel the warmth

I extended my stay but there was a bit of miscommunication - The reservation team does not appear to update communications in the system. I requested an extension via telephone to their reservation department, the reservation representative agreed on the extension, but did not communicate back to receptionist Eraine (sp) or Eryne about what we discussed. As a whole, I would stay in Cannock again because it met my needs for the night

A great and comfortable room that served our requirements. Superb location for us to visit family nearby. Loved that it had the services and amenities attached here offering a variety of food places. Would definitely stay again.

The extra bed requirement was a mattress on the floor. This was made up to a high standard as the other beds however it felt a little like camping in the room. I think more plug sockets might come in useful in the future.

I liked how very helpful the lady on reception was she helped us so much with everything that we needed especially for me getting on my laptop for my very important national prayer meeting on zoom. And supplying my husband with the extra tea he needed due to his medical needs. The air conditioning was such a blessing after the heat

There was quite a bit of dog hair stuck on the bottom section of the bed on the sides, it was difficult to remove but I had my lint roller which worked on most of it.

A little rough around the edges. Our taps were tricky to use and a bit broken. We also got woken up at 5.15am from a smoke alarm,not so much their fault but meant me and my small children were up for the day and impacted their day as they were both tired

This is totally fit for purpose for breaking our long journey (Kent to Cumbria), exceptionally clean, rooms v large and extra sofa bed should you need. Very dog friendly. Staff exceptional, been staying for years. Last night we had Jan check us in. What a lovely and professional lady. Excellent service and welcomed us warmly even at midnight. Thank you as always.
