Tbh I kinda chose this hotel because they have a Nespresso machine in every room. We travel with our own capsules when we can. But I loved everything at this hotel. It has character and charm and a very clear design aesthetic that is aligned with Kaohsiung as a port city or maritime hub. Every bit is beautifully curated. The room design of a large dual entry into a dressing area/washroom, separate toilet and bidet, and separate bath tub and shower was awesome when you travel with another person. We were never in each other's space as we could go in one door and out another door. I could even do some work on my laptop on the dresser with doors closed thereby not bothering my partner in the middle of the night. We had several meals in their dining options - drinks and snacks at their rooftop bar, lunch and dinner at the ground floor cafe, and their awesome daily breakfast spread. Personal faves are the nutty brown rice milk and the creamy french toast. The location of the hotel is another major advantage. The Central Park is right across (and so you could go for a jog if one is so inclined), proximity to MTR access, and shops all around.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a modern and artistic touch that creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The location is perfect, just steps away from Central Park MRT station, making it convenient to explore the city. A special mention goes to the amazing staff at reception – they were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. The suite is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The rooftop bar offers stunning city views, and the breakfast selection was delicious with plenty of variety. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung – it's an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The service was exceptional - the people on the desk were friendly, welcoming and professional, with excellent English, and made a point of remembering my name and greeting me every time I went past. The staff at the breakfast were also great. The room was comfortable, spacious, stylishly designed and with good facilities. The location was right next to the station, so was well positioned for tourist routes around the city. The rooftop bar has great views. The hotel also provided a greeting and gift for my birthday, leaving a card in my room, which was a lovely touch. Thank you!

The Hotel is located well - the Central Park and the main road which helps to have easy commuting to other sites. The hotel provides wonderful breakfast with tremendous varieties and high quality. It was highlighted at the time when I decided to book our vacation in this hotel. And it proves as a truth when you get there. The service in the restaurant (The Wok on the Park) is extremely friendly and warm - including a smooth introduction to the table, the explanation of the daily availabilities. The room is extremely clean, and well organized with all necessities and the mini bar in the room is free of charge which you get a strong sense of money for the value. I strongly believe the Hotel staff are the ones who make the difference. They are professional, customer focused and highly committed to providing the high quality and comfort to the guests. The staff I had experienced from the front deck to the bar, to the restaurant are all at present in real time, quickly responding to the needs and inquiries and work hard to meet the needs or solve the problems. I have to mention specifically their Font Office Supervisor - Leon Chang who had impressed me and my family so much when we stayed there for 4 nights (celebrating 2023 and welcoming 2024). He is always available to help, acts innovatively for possible solutions or recommendations and he also keeps being true about what the hotel can do and what is their limitation when it comes to the challenge about the background noise from the streets and the bars nearby. He is also very mindful to call for a taxi to send us to the high-speed train station which reaffirms the staff team's hospitality and kindness. Overall, it has been a great and enjoyable experience by staying in Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park and I will definitely recommend others to visit and stay if they have the chance.

Not that much - the only thing might be about the early check-in process. The staff probably can be more instructive to the guests (visitors to the city first time) about the city, the public facilities, and sightseeing venues and the recommendation of the restaurants and other interesting stuff of the city when the guests are waiting for the room to be available.

The location is the best just few minute walk from exit 2 of MRT Central Park. The hotel is elegant, clean, good English speaking staffs at front desk, has cafe at the lobby also. Our room 915 was comfortable with 2 beds and one sofa bed for 3 persons, big and airy, nice designs, one wall has ceiling to floor glasses window with view of the city. The bathroom is big with shower and bathtub that separated from the toilet area. The best water flow and good WiFi. This hotel became to be my favorite of my 10 days trip in Taiwan.

The price is a little bit on the high side.

Kind, polite and attentive staff. Comfortable, extremely spacious room with large window and great view (we took a room on on a high floor). Room included everything for a comfortable stay, including option to change pillow from a large selection if needed (from a kind of ‘pillow menu’ supplied in the room). Space in room and bathroom well thought-out for optimum comfort. Plenty of fresh bottled water supplied each day, and the Nespresso machine was a real plus. Mugs and glasses supplied in room, even a bottle opener, plate and cutlery, all presented very nicely inside drawers by the kettle and Nespresso machine. The gym was very useful (as running in the city is not easy.) Breakfast was outstanding, with a huge buffet selection of hot, cold, Chinese, Western, including freshly prepared drinks, eggs or omelette cooked to your liking, and the option to order other dishes freshly prepared and brought to your table. Truly a full meal to start the day. Plenty of healthy options offered, including Chinese vegetable dishes, fruit, yoghurt, as well as plenty of delicious and sweet options.

Great location, right of metro station. Easy to get to. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the daily happy hour on week days to unwind and relax in the lobby. The room was very big and the shower was amazing. Very quiet room, perfect for sleeping.

The thermostat in the room didn't actually control the room temperature. You can play with them but the room temperature stayed at around 22-23 degrees.

Very friendly staff and a great hotel. Across the street from the subway, so it was very convenient. The room was great with a lovely view over the city and one of the nicest hotel bathrooms I've ever had. The breakfast buffet featured many choices, both European/American and Asian. Many items are also available cooked to order.

One small quibble: If I booked a triple room for three people and it includes breakfast, I assume the breakfast is for three people, not two people. I also wish a room of that size would have shelving/drawers for clothing. There was a hanging bar with a few hangers, but really no good place to put folded clothing, especially for multiple people.

From a welcome to the check out - everything was fantastic. Check in very smooth. We were there a bit early, so we had an option to wait at the cafe or explore the city. By the time we've returned, our rooms were ready. They are spacious, plenty of room to dance if you want to. The king bed was very comfortable and the bedding soft and luxurious. There was a Nespresso coffee maker as well. The bar fridge was stocked with some soft drinks - and they were free!!! The bathroom was big as well, with separate bath with a view over the city. We were on the 12th floor and the room was very quiet.
