The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious, with firm mattresses and warm bedding. The bathroom was basic but just fine (a little small by US standards but then that's true of most Asian hotel rooms and bathrooms). The staff was friendly and helpful.

The half of our room next to the window had a floor that was a step up from the rest of the floor. One bed was a mattress directly on the raised floor. We didn't need two beds for sleeping but wanted to use one bed as a place to put an open suitcase, but it was too low to do that. I would have preferred to have two normal beds. But this was not a big deal at all and it was nice to have such a spacious room.

Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and fresh things. Room ice-cold. Excellent value for money. Metro station 10 minute walk, Liouhe street market (very small, only about 2 blocks, but plenty of food choices) only 15 minutes walk.

View non-existent; felt like sleeping in a box. Small room, but with the benefit of making air conditioner very effective. Only 1 small elevator for entire hotel. Underground parking very small and accessible only by steep and curving ramp, which will freak out many drivers.

Very comfortable room, with modern bathroom. Convenient location - a short walk from both metro lines and Liuhe Night Market. I found the the laundry really useful. I also liked that the area used for breakfast was open the rest of the day, with some drinks and snacks available.

It would be a bonus if the TV had a streaming service, like Netflix.

Fantastic location, only 5 min walk to Formosa Boulevard MRT interchange. Front desk and restaurant staff are friendly and respectful. Breakfast, though Asian biased, is amazingly good, with lots to choose from. Free tea/coffee, ice cream through out the day (& night). Room isn’t big but adequate for my needs. Bed is very comfortable. No issue with in room wifi.

The free ice cream and coffee/tea was most enjoyable. Also nice to be able to use the restaurant area to rest and eat takeaway food, a relaxing environment and better than eating inside the hotel room. Close distance to Liuhe night market. Rooms and toilets were clean. Also nice to have free laundry room. Staff are polite and nice. Room with 2 double beds is good for family of 4. Shower is good strength with many shower head options and water is hot.

Breakfast was mainly Asian cuisine, not much choice of western cuisine - food seems ok but depends on what you like to eat. The carpark is extremely small, smells of pee, and the driveway is very difficult to drive up/down. Luckily there is an option of outdoor carpark but can only enter once per day for free. Some staff were not so knowledgeable. For example, they had no idea of the approximate cost of taxi from the hotel to the airport; and they would ask guests to find the answer to some questions by themselves.

Good location near Formosa Boulevard and the staff are very attentive. They even called me whilst I was out and about to check if we needed the room making up.

Breakfast is meh if you didn't grow up eating Asian style breakfast e.g. congee Even just some scrambled eggs would have been nice

The hotel location is perfect for us to travel around the city. MRT and LRT connections are readily available, just 5 mins away The vegetarian option for breakfast is quite good. The hotel was kind enough to provide Tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the stay.

Limited room space.

Check in was great, reception staff's English was great. One of the staff gave me sightseeing tips which really helped me explore Kaoshiung. The room was spacious, clean and had every amenity you could need. Breakfast at the hotel resty was very good too. Short walk from Formosa Boulevard station and also the Liouhe Night Markets.

location of the hotel was excellent, within a 5mins walk away from the metro station exit. All day complimentary drinks and ice cream at the L1 restaurant was a nice touch and impressive. Breakfast had a good spread, and highly value for money given the affordable room rate. Hotel was very nice to help us store our luggage for free, and gave us our room earlier when we checked in. Overall very impressed by my stay, and the staff's attention to guests, esp given the affordable price point. Highly recommended.

Nothing really, but if I must pick on sth, i guess the design of the hotel is a bit dated (doors had to be opened w a traditional key vs a door card).

The room comfortable, reasonable size and we had a window. Bathroom was clean. Housekeeping excellent. Security at the hotel was good. Breakfast at hotel adequate and served hot.
