My room requests during booking were met, which was great. The room was spacious. The air conditioner was cold, the bed was soft, and the room had decent soundproofing. The water pressure was strong, and the bathroom was big, though there was no bathtub. The location was convenient — close to Liuhe Night Market, a convenience store, and MRT Cianjin Station (Exit 4). Overall, a good stay for the price. Friendly staff, too.

Not that I dislike it, but something was missing. There were no basic amenities like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or separate shampoo and soap — the hotel only provided a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash. As for the welcome amenities, there were only instant coffee packets, without any small snacks or treats. and I booked a room with a window — but the view was just a stairwell and people walk through.

Whenever I traveled and stayed in Kaohsiung, I preferred to stay in this hotel. Because I still had good memories in this hotel as well as Kaohsiung. Especially most staff were very friendly and smily.

Please, listen, AN YOUNG GUY sitting inside of the information desk in the evening of December 10th. EXPLAINING AND SAYING WITH ANGER are completely different. I know well it is not easy to treat all different types of guests. Surely a few guests's asking and demanding used to easily annoy you. However, is it your role to explain well to their asking or demanding? Not saying with anger? I was really thankful that all staff's kindness and bright smiles EXCEPT YOU never affected my staying.

Location is key plus. Cleanliness too.

No water kettle and one needs to go outside room to get hot water from water dispenser. Shower area can have a shower curtain so that water won’t spill that much. An extra table provides more room to place things. Staff should explain that booking a car means the hotel will call a taxi only when you are downstairs, and taxi may take 5-10 minutes to arrive. So you need to go downstairs earlier to allow time for a taxi to arrive.

Good Value for Money. Short walk from the Mrt Red Line and the night market and some touristy spots. Room was clean and comfortable.

The guy with the specs in the reception ( probably the main person) has some serious attitude problem. No smile, no gesture and was kinda rude. He behaves as though we owe him something! But other staffs was okay.

Excellent location near Metro station. Staff was friendly. Room was large and spacious, with lots of storage space including a ledge above the beds. Room even had a small refrigerator. Air conditioner worked well. Hotel was also within walking distance of Liuhe night market for late-night eats.

Due to only having a 3-in-one shampoo/conditioner/body soap for the shower, there was no hand soap for the restroom.

Good location close to metro and one of the night markets. Easy to find with the very clear directions they send you in the app before checking in. It’s one of those hotels that is a little bit old, but it’s clean and it’s cheap. It’s not much but it’s enough. I would stay here again.

There is no soundproofing, but really, this is standard for Taiwan in this price range.

Nice hotel. the staff was really polite and helpfull. Lots of good restaurants around, close to a metro station and public bike stands. Walking distance to some of my favorite bars in Kaohsiung. Would go back

The room was a bit small and the airconditioning was extremelly loud. The shower didn't had a curtain so the water would just splash everywhere, and the ceiling in the bathroom was very low. So if your tall you might be cramped.

Mr. Chen and Mr. Ren who worked at the reception were extremely accommodating and helpful. Any questions I had were answered in depth and a lot of effort was put into making my stay here very comforting. Highly recommend this place and staff service.

No breakfast provided. Location near to Formosa Boulevard and Caijin Stations. Next to Liuhe Night Market.

No water kettle in the room. I bought one for use.

It was a hassle-free, pleasant experience. From central station I took a bus, but could equally take MRT and frankly it is not even that far to walk if you travel light. Check-in was painless, I was able to communicate in English easily, and the lady who checked me in provided the essential strategic information as to where nearby to get breakfast and such (without even me asking), which was strongly appreciated. Furthermore, during my stay the front desk was always there and ready to help. Wi-Fi was reliable. The room was not luxurious or fancy but had everything I needed, and enough space and horizontal surfaces to put my things. Cleaning was not intrusive, which I personally prefer (room would be cleaned whenever I ask). A/C unit in the room I got was very quiet. Importantly for the cold wave, the A/C could be switched to heating mode. The windows could be opened to air the room out when the air outdoors is clean enough. In addition to the washing machine available in the hotel itself, there is also a new self-service laundry with a dryer within walking distance. There’s a night market not far. Central park, river could be reached on foot, as could Komeda’s and other chain cafes and restaurants. Orange line is nice for getting to other, even better coffeeshops and cafes.

I visited during the cold season and liked the room that faces the sun the most, but that room also faces a loud road (not hotel’s fault). You can hear your immediate neighbours a bit when you have any, though it’s not as bad as in many other hotels in this price range. The bathroom ceiling may be a bit low for a tall person, and shower head is mounted correspondingly not quite high enough. The chair in the room was soft to sit on but could’ve been even more comfortable with back support.
