Wow! We can honestly say that the Legend Hotel in Kaohsiung was one of the best places our family of five has ever stayed. If you are a family traveling with children, stop looking and just book this hotel. It's that good. From the moment you walk in, you can see how special this place is. The hotel is stunningly designed with a cool, modern, and fun vibe. Our kids (ages 9, 7, and 4) immediately fell in love with our room and had the best time just exploring the different floors to see all the unique decorations. The hotel itself felt like part of the adventure! The staff's attitude is simply amazing – every single person was warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. And then there's the lobby. It's gorgeous, and it's a paradise for kids and adults alike. They offer complimentary popcorn coffee, and drinks 24/7. The kids were in heaven, and it was such a wonderful and generous touch that made us feel truly taken care of. On top of all the fun, the hotel is incredibly practical. The Wi-Fi is excellent and fast. Having a supermarket right below the hotel and a dedicated hotel parking lot made our stay completely seamless and stress-free. The location is an absolute 10/10 – you are right next to the famous Liuhe Night Market and just a short walk from the Formosa Boulevard MRT station, making it the perfect base to explore everything Kaohsiung has to offer. We cannot recommend Legend Hotel Liuhe highly enough. It made our trip to Kaohsiung absolutely memorable. We're already trying to find an excuse to come back!

Child friendly decor in the rooms, hallways and entrance. Super friendly staff👌 Water at the front desk. Free popcorn in the afternoons. Free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby Microwave in the lobby. Location is very nice, close to family mart, 7/11, liuhe night market, metro, party world, nail salon, hair salon, children's parks, gym world, malls, main streets, walk 15-20mins to love river. If your kids stain sheets etc, pay 100-600nt, very reasonable.

Not very stroller friendly, best to use carriers for side streets. On an off street, best to take taxi first time to get there.

Loved the colourful and individual design. Staff was very friendly and I could even check in earlier. Very comfortable bed with 4 pillows. Great shower with a glass wall to prevent the whole bathroom from getting wet. Different sized towels included. Lobby/reception has a water refill station, tea and even popcorn. Big room, nice lighting. Good location, close to a night market. Great value for money. Would definitely come back and recommend! :)

The aircon/ventilation system was a tiny bit too loud for me.

Location is great, close to the train and bus lines. Also close to an amazing 24 hour ramen shop, family mart, grocery stores and gyms. The hotel decorations were very cute. We didn't use any of the free coffee, tea, popcorn, but it always was there in the lobby and smelled great. The shower pressure in the bathrooms was very nice and the rooms were spacious (we had 2 big backpacks and two small backpacks and didn't feel cramped). We also did laundry at the hotel and it was very easy to use - the washer is free and the dryer cost 50NTD and is available 24/7. Definitely recommend staying here.

The pantings and decorations on the wall and the building created a really nice atmosphere. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility was fine. For the cleaness of the room, it was fine as well. The room was not very spacious, but enough for a solo traveler. That location was near the nightmarket, and two of the subway stations

It would be great if the room were bigger.

It's a cute little hotel. The room was small but comfy, the bed soft, the bathroom clean. It's a bit away from the train station, but right by one of the night markets, close to KRT stations, and altogether easy enough spot to explore the city. The views were nice too. Staff were friendly and accommodating, speak great English.

Decent place for one person for one night, everything was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. Walkable from the MRT if you don't have much luggage, youbike station a street or two over, restaurants around. Some free snacks + water in the room. I usually sleep with earplugs and so didn't have any noise issue despite being next to the elevator (but without them might be another thing).

If I had to pick something, the elevator was unusually small (although the problem is not necessarily with the elevator, but with other guests determined to cram themselves into it beyond a comfortable capacity)

The location was amazing. The staff was super nice and helpful. Room was big and clean. The bathroom was great. Loved it so much. You can get free popcorn and do laundry for free. They also provide Ramen (would be nice if it was vegan/vegetarian) and juice as welcome. The whole hotel is super cute.

Great value and fantastic location! The night market is within walking distance, and the area has many shops and restaurants. The beautiful Sanfong Temple - with 1600 red lanterns - is only a few minutes away. We chose to stay in a quadruple room; the beds were extremely comfortable and extra big. Lovely paintings on the walls. Our room and bathroom were spotless!

good location to QianJin MRT and Mei Li Dao. and also near to LiuHe Night market. Love this hotel. very nice decoration or drawing in the wall. they provide free washing machine for customer and paid service for drying the clothes. is so worth it. Highly recommend.
