This hotel is situated in a great location, e.g. near metro station, near convenient store (Family mart), near Liuhe night market. The room is not so big but everything was nice and the facilities are as shown in the advertised photos. The business double room type has only 1 chair but you can request a plastic stool from the reception. There's a laundry room which requires only 30 TWD for washing dirty clothes and another 30 TWD to dry out the clothes. There's also a cafe on the second floor of the hotel and guest will have a 10% discount coupon to use at this cafe. There's also a coffee machine and water fountain on the 1st floor for the guest to use for free. Next time I'll stay at this hotel again when I come to Kaohsiung.

It'd be better to have a hand bidet in every bathroom. I saw one in the common toilet on the basement floor and expected that my bathroom (in my business double room type) would has one as well.

It takes around 20 minutes to arrive to this hotel from the Zuoying high speed rail station via taxi. It is located 5 minutes away from one of MRT lines and is one stop away from Formosa Boulevard station, which connects you to 2 MRT lines. The hotel has a coffee dispenser in the lobby though I did not use it. A cafe is on the second floor as well. The hotel staff are very kind and communicating check-in details via English was not an issue. The room itself had a nice layout and was spacious enough for three guests. There is a smart television to pass time. A kettle and hairdryer are available. The hotel did not provide water bottles as a water dispenser was available outside of the room.

It was quite inconvenient to have only one accessible elevator. We were staying on the 12th floor, thus relying on the stairs is not the best option for older adults. It did not cause problems for us, but having to wait around 5 minutes for an elevator, at certain times, definitely was not ideal. The beds were quite small. They were two double beds and 3 people stayed in the room. Having two people in one bed is a bit tight. You are limited by how much you can move unless you're cuddling and do not roll around in your sleep. Wifi was very spotty. If you are relying on wireless internet, you might have problems with your connection.

Love the free coffee machine in the lobby that provides excellent matcha lattes and cappuccinos. Herbal teas were also available, which is unusual for Taiwan. Hotel interior is stylish and up-to-date. Dehumidifier in the room helps keep humidity levels down. Hotel is located near a good night market and is close to the subway.

No breakfast is provided. There is only one elevator in a hotel with 11 stories, which makes me wonder what happens when there is an elevator break-down or routine maintenance is required. The room thermostat overestimated the room temperature (e.g. 30-31 deg C when it was actually 22 or 24) so that they a/c was constantly running. Modulating the room temperature required turning the a/c off and on.

The location was good as it was near the night market where we had dinners 2 nights in a row. In additions, it was near both Formusa Boulevard and Cianjin MRT stations. Also, convenient stores near-by. Loved that they have water dispenser every floor. Room layout was perfect for 3 beds with that room size (23 m2). Staff at reception were attentive. We asked for recommendation to buy a certain type of souvenir and they spent their time trying to find where to buy for us. Truly appreciated this. The hotel also provided us with free tea, coffee and cocoa. The Us cafe on the 2nd floor had tasty coffee. I loved Vienna coffee there and we got 10% coupon when checking in at the hotel.

Our beds hadn't cleaned up/made up despite all things in the room was cleaned so we aren't sure whether this is a normal practice at the hotel or not. However, We asked to the reception staff to talk to the hotel cleaners to make up our beds too and they did on the following day.

This property should be perfect .. but.... Anyway, only 5 mins walk to the nearest night market ( Liu He Market) There is a breakfast shop just down stairs only 5 mins walk to the orange Line metro / 10 mins walk to the Red line Hotel lobby does have free drink . ( The nescafe Machine Coffee - really good) I couldn't ask for more

The staff did inform all pax to keep the volume low . - However , there might be some inconsiderate people in this planet. I saw the ear plugs given on the table and i somehow knew the Noise is bad I stayed for 3 nights and my 1st night - i woke up because the next door slam the door. and that was at 5am The 2nd night i was woken up because upstairs keep flushing the toilet and it woke me up. The reason i gave a high rating is that the above are things that is beyond the hotel control. if noise / sound is isnt a huge concern. This hotel is really really good and i will come back again to stay.

Comfortable bed, tidy and clean room equipped with a hair dryer and towels. The staff are very helpful and supportive, and it’s great that they provide a water dispenser on every floor. Coffee and tea are conveniently located on the ground floor, and they also offer laundry service. I’ll definitely be back!

The room was warm, and the air circulation could use improvement; it seems the air conditioning was not functioning properly. The hotel's location is convenient, with just a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and a bus stop located right around the corner

I like everything about this hotel. The lighting is warm and welcoming. The staff was courteous and kind. The elevator requires key card to reach your floor. The room is of decent size, on the small side but it was my fault as I didn’t want to pay more. There is a water dispenser outside my room. There are 8 rooms on my floor and it was so quiet which I love. I saw people on the elevator but they were all very polite. The elevator is modern and very fast. The bathroom is well lit. The shower was so well designed that no water escaped from the shower. There’s are 2 pairs of slippers . A pitcher to fill water which is way better than bottled waters . A small fridge to keep food and store cool drinks . On the first floor is a water dispenser and coffee machine that dispenses coffee, milk tea, hot chocolate, latte, cappuccino etc. Also tea bags are available. There is even 2 washers and 2 dryers in the basement.Every 30 minutes for either the washer or the dryer costs 30 twd so it is quite reasonable. To top it all , below the small table in my room , is a massager. I loved it. It stops every 15 minutes so you just have to restart it. It gave me a good lower lumber massage. On the 2nd floor is a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch . The location is central.There are many eateries within a few minutes walk. A metro station is 10 to 15 minutes walk from where you can arrive the airport. From the Formosa station, the airport is only 16 minutes away. I definitely will stay in this hotel if I am in Koahsiung again.

A surprise is : There are rooms from third to thirteenth floor. 11 floors , assuming 8 rooms each or maximum 88 rooms with one single elevator. But the wait for the elevator was never more than a few minutes. I think the elevator has capacity for 9 persons without luggages. This is not what I don’t like. The elevator is very fast and there is a display telling you where the elevator is. If you don’t like to wait, stay on the lower floor so you have the option to walk. The good things about this hotel more than made up for this.

The room had its own little massager which is amazing. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is amazing. TV had Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus. The staff were all amazing and very approachable, laundry room (30TWD for washer and 30TWD for Dryer, each cycle lasts 30minutes but the dryer never stopped, we stopped it ourselves after 45minutes). Complimentary products like toothbrushes and combs are by the reception desk, guests can help themselves. Tea were also complimentary in the lobby. Has its own mini fridge. 2 international wall plug sockets

There were long black hair in the room (probably from the cleaners) but other than that it was very clean. Fabric quality for the bed was borderline low-med quality. If you have sensitive skin, you may need to avoid as it may be prickly. The bed and the door felt quite close for rooms 02 and 03 on each floor, if the door opens, the first thing you'll see will be the headboard and your head which felt a little weird (not a big deal)

The property was fairly new and very clean, with good sound proofing and proximity to trains and shops/restaurants. I also liked that the shower was large and did not leak. The wifi was reliable and the staff were all friendly.

Although it was comfortable, the bed was the smallest bed I’ve ever slept in in a hotel. I don’t think it was even a double bed (maybe in width but certainly not length…my feet were hanging off!). It would have also been nice for there to be a microwave in the common area like other hotels have to heat up any meals from convenience stores.

A nice hotel with a retro vibe not far from Formosa Boulevard station with a night market nearby. There is a coffee machine in the lobby and the beds are comfortable with a nice shower. The check out time is generous. There is a nice breakfast spot - Morning, Charlie - literally 30 yards around the corner.
