The checking in process was smooth and the amenities for guests including snacks, drinks and communal areas were great, including the shared computer terminals available to guests. The rooms looked modern, and were clean and well laid out. The shower pressure and heat was great, and the other room features were great, especially the labelled lighting. The restaurant in the hotel also seemed nice, we didn't have food but used it as a bar, and the drinks were delicious and service was swift (especially the little table dongles for requesting service when you were ready to order). The location was also great - right by a metro station that was a short ride to both the main station and the HSR station, or a short (20 minute) walk from the main/central Khaosiung station, and several big night markets. The hotel had also made provisions for guests just in case they were disrupted by a nearby hotel/building currently under construction, but we were there in the middle of the day, and didn't hear a thing.

Very small thing, but this was the only hotel we visited that didn't have USB sockets (just regular plug sockets, which means you need an adaptor).

Room was clean, AC was working well, mostly functional interior. Despite a construction side next door, we got a room which faced the other building and we didn't hear any noise. The highlight was the complimentary buffet in the early afternoon and late evening. Staff was helpful in digging out a bus timetable in Mandarin from the internet to visit a sight. Complimentary water available downstairs when one is leaving the hotel.

Location was good in terms of accessibility, but the immediate surrounding is not particular pretty and the fancy design hotel feels a bit out of place. The window was basically facing another newly built and not yet used apartment building, so it was dark in the room and there was no view.

Great service and very friendly staff. We were surprised with the free snack bar and beer served every night with good relaxing environment. Room size is quite big amd good service. Great value for money. Love our stay here and would recommend or return if come back. Thank you.

Just minor things like unpleasant mouldy smell in the lift, but not in elsewhere. Not sure why check in and check out are done in different floor. But doesn't bother me.

Brio Hotel is definitely one of my favorite hotels in Taiwan. All the staffs are helpful and courteous. We were very pleasantly surprised the hotel provide good snacks: many different types of crackers but my favorite were delicious coconut crackers and chocolate ice-cream, all kind of juices, fancy coffee machine…all 24/7 and light appetizer for late afternoon and late evening with delicious chicken salad, spicy tomato angel hair pasta and few others. Another favorite was Brio bedding: softest and smoothest sheets I have ever encountered in Hotels. Location was excellent right by metro.

Perfect location. Just a few steps away from the subway station and opposite to the beautiful Central Park. I was choosing between this hotel and another international brand hotel on the same street when I was planning this trip, and it proved that I had made the right choice. Hotel wow guests with a lot of perks, welcome donuts were offered upon check-in. Complimentary fresh cucumber slices and facial masks were served in the room. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was great, non-buffet style with pretty good varieties and quantity, nice environment and good service. The snack bar is opened most of the time during the day, free for hotel guests, facilities were maintained very clean and tidy although not being attended. Decent room size with nice amenities, love the slippers. Hotel encourages guests to be eco-friendly and offers free gifts when cleaning is not required. Housekeeping efficiently sent in clean towels within 5 mins after I made the calll. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Everything was good, the only down side was the hotel being surrounded by 2 construction sites, need to be cautious with trucks and construction work near the hotel entrance. Woke up by construction noise in the morning.

The hotel is located less than 1 minute from the Central Park metro station, with easy access to the rest of Kaohsiung. The bed was incredibly comfortable; bedding was soft and we had multiple pillows. We were able to borrow a clothes iron from reception. We particularly enjoyed the free snacks and drinks in the lobby throughout the day.

Soundproofing between rooms was almost non-existent. Ear plugs were provided, but wouldn't have done much.

Hotel very near Central Park station abt 200m. Hotel staffs were all very helpful & polite. Upon check-in had little gift and on Xmas day had a little gift hanging in our room door, such gestures makes guests feel welcome. Breakfast was great- set menu and beef was really delicious. Big thumbs up to all service staffs at roof top restaurant were all very helpful, courteous and cheerful. Hotel offers free snacks for all hotel guest 3 times a day which personally thought was wonderful treat. Only thing that stop me from giving 5 star was because housekeeping didn’t do a good job with cleaning of toilet. Hairs and tissue papers were still found after their cleaning. Overall

The hotel had late night snacks for the guests, which were very helpful when we returned to the hotel and wanted something small to munch on or drink. As I also had a young toddler with me, it helped that they provided a step-stool for my child to use when washing her hands or brushing her teeth, instead of having to carry her.

It took me a while to find the room number when it was actually shown near to the floor. Also, the room tend to be a little dark; wished it was a little brighter.

Rooms were very spacious and beds were incredibly comfortable. We ordered room service for a midnight snack and it was delicious! Quick and efficient staff/service. Very pleased by my stay here and will definitely come back again! Hotel was very considerate and had attention to detail by providing ear plugs in the room due to the nearby ongoing construction.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very warm and friendly. Being right by the station made it convenient for getting around via public transport. There were really nice personal touches at the hotel such as a welcome hotel anniversary gift, local snack was brought to our room on arrival and refreshing cucumber water masks for before bed which were great. We were even lucky enough to get an upgrade on arrival and got a room with a bath which I would definitely recommend booking, it was perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring.
