The hotel and rooms are immaculate, it feels like you’re in a large studio apartment minus a kitchen. Additionally the rooms and hallways were very quiet (even with a busy street outside). They also offer commentary water in each room. Breakfast is at the top floor overlooking the city which was nice. Food was mix of local cuisine and continental breakfast. There’s also a complementary lounge area next to the front desk with free coffee, water and cookies along with multiple couches upon arrival or just to relax. Staff speak English very well and had no issues with communication. Hotel is minutes away from Formosa station (large and beautiful station). I had no issues taking the train from the airport directly to this hotel. I also lost my umbrella and the front desk offered me a free parasol to get me through my day, which was very kind (didn’t end up taking it as it was pretty large, but I appreciate the gesture!)

There are two main elevators and one handicap elevator. They can be rather slow, but we’re not a huge inconvenience.

Rooms were delightfully huge, with ample space to spread out our luggage and shopping. The beds were super comfortable and we had great rest on all the nights we had there. Toilet was very clean and spacious and had one of the best bidets I have ever used. Rooms were very soundproof, we couldn't hear anyone else next to us. Breakfast had a great spread of local and western cuisine using a lot of fresh, local produce especially the milk bar and the fruit juice area. Omelet live station was a lovely nice touch. Location was amazing since it was only a 5min walk to Formosa Boulevard Station which is a junction station between 2 different metro lines, making our commute throughout Kaohsiung very easy.

This could easily be a 5-star-Hotel: the staff at the reception is very professional, kind and speaks English. The bedroom is huge (I've never seen a double bed this size!) and has plenty of storage place. There is free parking.

Reminding people that breakfast ends at 10 once is professional, informing them again after 15min. is attentive. Reminders no. 3,4 and 5 (!) are just in bad taste. Especially if the staff is taking from the buffet to eat themselves before the buffet is even closed. It's like saying: get lost already. Also, at the same place in the evening, the waiting time for two beers was almost 15min. even though there were 3 tables occupied in total and 3 people working.

Great convenient Location. Friendly and courteous reception staff. Extensive daily breakfast available with daily changes to the menu. Very plush and comfortable mattress and pillows.

The room was extremely dark and we were left feeling very uneasy at night while trying to sleep. We didn’t get that feeling during the daytime - so that sense of unease was peculiar. We managed to get an additional Table Lamp to illuminate the walkway on our second night - we slept a lot better thereafter.

The location is excellent - just a few steps from an MRT entrance. Staff were fantastic - proactive, helpful and friendly, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was great. Our rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was great.

The pillows were a bit big for our taste - it would have been nice to have a different, smaller option. The coffee machine at the breakfast buffet made coffee drinks that weren't very hot.

It would be good to have an access to laundromat and dryer machines

The location was good. The room was spacious. Free parking was an advantage. Breakfast has a good range of goods and was reasonable but not amazing for the price.

The pillows were uncomfortable. The rooms aren't sound proof and the shower water temperature fluctuated from ambient to scalding hot which isn't good especially in a hotel of this calibre. We ate at the western restaurant on the top floor and would rate it 5/10, western but not done well.

Breakfast is ok but nothing special. Since the staff at the reception was very friendly, I was a bit surprised about the personnel at breakfast. At least a „good morning“ would be nice to hear, but we only got „room number?“ as greeting.

Sadly no pool, but I was aware of it when booking; the restaurant at the hotel is comparatively expensive, even if the food is excellent.

The front desk is very friendly and efficient. Peggy particularly helped a lot. Betty helped also. Nice lobby with 24 hour coffee! The dining room for morning breakfast is very nice with a variety of foods. And very close to RMT.

I didn't see any English T.V. channel. If offer CNBC or Bloomberg, it will be a big plus! The remote control was also not easy to use.
