Perfect location on a quiet beach with lots of palm trees and an excellent view from our balcony. I loved the pool area which was like a garden, 2 pools, a hot tub, and a huge hot tub pool. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas there and on the beach for no extra fee. The sofa lounge area was relaxing with beach views. Eva was a wonderful waitress that always treated us like a guest in her home. Very attentive. Fernando was always happy and eager to chat or to help make sure we had everything we could want at the pool and beach area. The beach was a safe place to walk. No vendors 😀. Police on ATVs patrolled regularly. The public beach next door was so clean, so quiet, and had a little cocktail kiosk. I enjoyed picking up unusual shells, especially the pink clam shells. There were several restaurants, grocery store, and a mall within walking distance. We walked to dinner at Plato's and Metropol. These had simple menus of typical local food.

We didn't have the buffet breakfast because we don't usually eat typical breakfast foods. I would have liked more fresh salad and fruit choices at the restaurant, too. The wait staff was excellent, as were all the people there. I would have liked to have live entertainment at night and other recreational games or activities offered during the day.

We like location. The room is very good and beautiful. Even the window was so clean that I didn't see and hit my head there. Staff is very good, especially towel guys, the guy at the beach serving (forgot name), parking guys, cleaning ladies. Especially it was one guy Gabriel I think in main restaurant, who gave a lot of information than reception, and said where to go in the city and we went and were happy. Thanks to FO managers, they helped with some issues.

Checkin was good, but the FO guy, I think, was tired or sad. We didn't find out. One day, I was sleeping, and at 9 am, someone was knocking on the door so badly, I opened, and they wanted to check air conditioning, but I was sleeping and asked to come later. Water in the shower was very hot, I turned to the cold side, but anyway it was hot, and I had a shower very quickly. One reception guy, when we came to ask why it was charged from my card, he said because it is hotel fee, but we know that it was included already, and we asked to call the manager nicely. The checkout lady without asking was charging for our car for the whole stay, but we used parking for one day only, she didn't ask, that's why it was misunderstanding.

I did like the location. I was able to walk down to stores and restaurants. You are not confined to the hotel if you decide not to rent a car.

I didn't like how there was no separation from adult and kids pool. There should be no reason for children to be in the pool with the bar. I guess that's just me and my parenting.

I liked that I had partial view. Valet attendants were pleasant. Easy to freeway

Manuel at the outside bar was rude, and didn’t make us feel welcomed. The refrigerator in my room didn’t work and I was told it is only to keep it room temperature no cold. What’s the point of a refrigerator that cuts off every 2 hours. Asked for late check out and was told it wasn’t available.

The resort is beautiful and comes with a balcony view that is awesome ! If it were all inclusive, I would stay here again and again

Food and market options were limited . Please bring your own snacks and alcohol , if you are going to be drinking

beach access and bartender’s at the pool were excellent

no live salsa or spanish music live bands had to got other Hotels and pay more out of pocket for drinks…Also no PR food!!! had to go out side and find places!!! should have a PR menu authentic menu even if its on weekend

I loved the views (especially from my balcony). The pool and beach were beautiful and comfortable temperatures. Loved that the pool was open 24/7 and that the resort was right on the beach. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed Fernando (towel guy). His energy and customer service was outstanding.

The beds could have been a tad bit softer/comfortable, but not too bad. We did have trouble keeping a consistent temperature in our room. Sometimes hot and sometimes cold. One major issue was the ants in our room on the dresser. We mentioned it to the front desk a couple of times before it was addressed on the third night. But the resort did compensate us for that inconvenience.

The facility is beautiful and it is right on the beach! And a very nice beach to boot. There is a casino, pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, all on site. The pools are a nice temp, the grounds full of palm trees. The staff was very nice as well. The food was pretty good too nothing special but still good. The drinks were good as well.

As beautiful as it is, it’s not in a great location for walking. We did not rent a car and there are not a lot of restaurants, bars, or shopping close by that is not part of the Marriott itself. There is a couple breakfast places maybe half a mile away but in 90 degree weather and high humidity it feels longer than it is. The other negative is the bugs. Tons of No-See-Ums later in the day near the beach so bring bug spray.
