Large room and bathroom. Good shower and bath. Good supply of toiletries(toothpaste, tooth brush etc) The room was clean and well maintained by the cleaning staff. Fridge was well stocked with water and soft drinks. Coffee and tea making facilities were good with chocolates and biscuits. The food was good at the restaurant. Generous breakfast. The week end barbeques were excellent; ample sea food including lobsters and meat with variety of desserts. The restaurant staff were excellent during breakfast and dinner; Their service with a smile and enthusiasm was worth the stay at this hotel; They were well led by Mr Jason Tan and well supported by his assistants Mr Yogeshwaren and Mr Jason Lim. The waiters were exceptionally helpful. Exceptional service from MJ, Jennifer, Rachel and Jerome. Made us very happy. A great asset to the hotel and their hard work should be valued by the hotel management team!

Laundry service was provided but very expensive(£3 to wash underwear!). A self service laundry facilities at a reasonable price would have been a great help. Limited international channels on TV. Lack of a lobby bar facilities. Lack of proper concierge service. Also, the lack of porter service; the lift was on the first floor and luggage has to be taken up a ramp by the client. No real offer of help during check in!

We got complimentary upgrade to the family suite as the room we wanted had issues with the aircon. We loved how the rooms (bedroom and the tv room) were clean.

We didn’t quite like the bed as it was a two single sized, massage bed. We loved the idea of the massage bed that can be reclined and all but since it’s two different beds that are being put together, there was a gap In between the beds. So with kids around, was pretty hard and uncomfortable to sleep on the bed, especially those who has to sleep in the middle of the bed. Would recommend to have a normal queen or king size bed since it’s a family suite. Other than that, all are great!

Breakfast had lots of choices. Nice gym with outdoor area. Friendly staff - girl at the spa and the Filipina lady at the breakfast were very friendly, lobby staff were professional but a few more smiles would have made them even better. Shuttle to Vivo City. Free drinks in minibar included

Dream Pool was not available. Signage to the Sanctuary Rooms elevators could have been better. The three housekeeping staff that I encountered could only understand Putonghua when I went to ask for extra blanket. Wished you provided charging stations inside the rooms

There was so much my family (Mum travelling with two adult sons) loved about our stay at Amara. Our family room on Level 3 was as described and had a lovely outlook. The room itself was spacious and was well appointed with all the comforts. The bathroom consisted of a large bath, shower and vanity unit. I loved that the bathroom was spacious and not at all poky. Mattresses were comfortable. Housekeeping was amazing. Complimentary water, Sprite, Coke cans, Kit Kats, Oreo biscuits, together with the usual tea, coffee and sugar refills were left daily and much appreciated! Breakfast was included in our stay, which we would highly recommend. The selection of buffet foods and beverages was incredible. We enjoyed that breakfast was served till 11am on Saturday and Sundays than the normal 10am Mon-Fri. The property grounds are a tropical oasis and pure delight to walk around. There is a beautiful waterfall behind the Glass Room. You might be lucky to see the resident peacock/s on your walks. We didn't use or sight the gym room. The roof top pool has amazing views and well worth a visit, even to just relax on a banana lounge! The location was perfect and was a relatively short but slightly hilly walk to reach Palawan Beach, Imbiah Trail/ Station and Resorts World. For those with mobility issues, it may not suit due to the property resting on a hillside. However, there are free bus services operating on Sentosa Island. The Amara complimentary shuffle bus is terrific and runs like clockwork. We used it several times to venture into Vivo City Shopping Centre. We thoroughly loved every minute of our 7-day stay at Amara. Thank you to Manager AJ; MJ (Hospitality - The Sanctuary Tearoom) and Bryant - Chef for making our breakfast mornings so enjoyable and memorable. The staff at Amara are so friendly and helpful and truly go above and beyond. My eldest Son had a birthday during our stay with MJ surprising him with a mini birthday cake.

The villa we stayed in was absolutely lovely and would definitely recommend again.

The Asian selection of the breakfast could be abit more diverse with more Singaporean/local dishes.

We stayed here for our tenth year anniversary. We had some initial hiccups with the room but I have to commend the team, Shaz and Abel, for doing their human best to resolve them. Shaz was immediately on the case, she heard us out, was responsive, friendly and professional. Abel empowered Shaz to make us comfortable, and we do appreciate him hearing our concerns. These interactions made us feel our time here was valued by the staff, they genuinely wanted us to have a perfect time, and not just transactional. MJ and the staff from the Tearoom, where we had breakfast and lunch, as well as Suresh from concierge were all very friendly, greeting us and the kids well, taking time to chat, and doing their best to make us feel at home. The rooms were comfortable despite some initial hiccups. The suites are great sizes for those with kids. There is a 5-10 min walk to the beach, but it wasn’t a problem for us (we had young kids). We were happy with breakfast buffet. While there could be other hotels with wider spreads I personally felt it ticked the right boxes (DIY noodles, congee, egg station, fruits, salad, pastries, bacon, sausages), so quite happy with it. Overall, they have an excellent team here and the human touch made our trip. We had a nice, relaxing and fun time and would definitely consider a return trip.

rooms are comfortable and very quiet. location is a little out of town but they have free bus to the very large complex nearby . breakfast is buffet style which seems to fit most peoples taste

Ok lets talk what needs changing. in the room they give free coke and lemonade and water and also free Kit Kats as well every day. but if you go into the restaurant that same sprite you get for free will be charged at 9 dollars plu plus and end up over 10 dollars. this has to be changed if you are giving the guest free sprite in the rooms why slug them for 10 dollars in the restaurant. does not seem right to me please change that. the reason I am stating it here is so that the management will understand how wrong this is.

The staff were super kind and always so helpful. Even when we put a DND sign, we came back and met a bag of toiletries and goodies outside our door which was very cute. The location was great too as it was a short walk to the station. Also, it was a short bus ride to the beach! We really liked this hotel and had a wonderful stay there. The hotel was clean and we really didn't have much to complain about. There's free transport all over Sentosa. Plus a free shuttle from the hotel which made it so much easier to get around.

The pool was not great as it's a very small pool on the 4th floor for the whole hotel. Also, although breakfast was good, we got tired of the same things every day. But again staff were super courteous and lovely.

Had a staycation at Amara for the 2nd time. Staff are very welcoming and lovely, since the email from Abel, to manager at check in Shaz, the other gardening team, the restaurant staff and till check out Sophie. Loved the newly renovated Verandah studio. The room was very spacious despite a huge bed and a sofa. Toilet was lovely, however the water heating system is inconsistent and also leaking water from toilet flushing- clean water tho. And a bali feel balcony which is not too hot on a sunny day. Daily amenities are topped up and rooms are redone in an hour for our 2nd day. Was very impressed by it. There's a drinking water tap in the toilet even there're water cartons top up each day. Love the ideas of recycling in this hotel. Breakfast are of a smaller variety as compared to huge hotels. However, the taste are surprisingly good esp the indian cuisines. Gym equipment is adequate. Outdoor gym equipment is not well maintained. Will be better if there're better signages to show where's the indoor gym. Felt well rested in this stay and thank you Amara and team for making it so much better.

Serenity with a very peaceful surroundings. Surrounded with beautiful trees and fresh air! The villa we booked comes with a private pool. Kids had lots of fun in it

The staffs gave a very mediocre service. Check in was ok only by a female Chinese lady. Check out was Terrible, paid for late check out, seems to infuriate the staff, a Malay lady . No eye contact , no greetings. I just very awkwardly put the key card on the table and walked away. A thank you was shout out from a male staff member that was behind the very cold Malay lady. The only great customer service we had was from the restaurant. All of them were smiley and nice. Shout out to Nurul, if am Not wrong on the name. She was in a arm cast but still doing her best with the brightest smile on
