Very good stay in Singapore at this hotel from 17-20/11/24 which is easily reachable from the Changi Airport by MRT to Outram Park, changing at Tanah Merah, then walking 10 min from exit 8. The staff was very kind and gave me a free bottle of water on arrival even if my room wasn't ready. The room was of a good size, with a good AC and a wet shower - as in you have no walls or cubicle for your shower so the bathroom will get wet but that's okay, it's tiled most of it and it wasn't my first experience of such. Bed was comfortable and I had a good rest for my 3 night stay. There is an excellent Korean restaurant 5 min away from the hotel called Kelim Dakdoritang - Tiong Bahru 계림닭도리탕 where I had a feast my first night. The hotel itself doesn't do breakfast or food per se but there is a convenience store attached to it - go outside and it's the first door on the left, not connected from inside the Reception. The nearest MRT station is Outram Park and it gives access to 3x MRT lines (EW, NE & TE), which allow you to visit most if not all your best attractions in Singapore. From there I was able to visit the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, the Merlion Park, the Singapore Zoo and even Sentosa Island - do note you may need an extra bus ride, cable car or walk some. Next time I am in Singapore I will come here again.

Nothing, it was very good and the location was grand.

Despite the low rating the hotel exceeded my expectations. For a budget hotel I didn't expect the staff to always accommodate my requests, they were all very nice and helpful. There was always at least one person to assist at the reception giving a sense of security and care; the room was always clean and, even if small, everything fitted perfectly. The toilet was a wet toilet style but very clean and functional. I strongly recommend this hotel for those who look for a good quality cheap accomodation. The neighborhood is lovely and full of bars, cafés and local restaurants. The position is very strategic and functional.

Excellent location, walking distance to Chinatown, subway and busses close by, hawker centre a few minutes away, lots of small restaurants just round the corner. 24h reception at hotel. Extra tap with filterd drinking water in the rooms. Very quiet, safe neighborhood.

Remember, in Singapore you often have shower /toilet /washing basin in a small confined room without a shower curtain. This also applies for this hotel. The bathroom was super clean and it dried quickly. I am just mentioning it, as it seems odd for people who aren't used to this concept and you might want to consider this in andvance.

Very clean and no weird smell despite the small space. Very nice lady staff - she’s vibrant and bubbly, made a good impression! Aircond and WiFi worked well. The lobby is spacious and well decorated for Christmas. I think this is a nice touch to guests! Housekeeping team is also very respectful and nice. Location- near enough to Tiong Bahru market. There is also a convenient store just beside the hotel so that’s convenient!!!!

The bed is the spongy type & they don’t provide water bottles anymore. Only filter tap. Location of the hotel will need 10-15 mins walk to Outram Park MRT, or 8-9 mins walk to nearest bus station.

The room is small, clean and coarsy, smells good, at a convenient location with some restaurants, pastry shops around, has filter water inside.very quiet,amazing its good roads connections,soft beds, they clean for you you every day according to your teste. they provide toiletries. the staff are very helpful especially Azza [i fogot her proper name] the wifi is good.

They dont have amenities like fridge, wardrop,some information they put on the tv is not correct i.e tiong bharu plaza 2 minutes aways from the hotel turns out its abit far you have to take a bus, the lobby looks dull.

The staff at Hotel 81 Osaka were just, Excellent!! We had to upgrade our double bedroom to a larger room, as the room was very small for a couple with 2 large suitcases. The aircon in both rooms was under par, not cooling. Even after a shower, I was still sweating, with the AC on full blast(or so I thought). The shower, was on the lines of the shower in our Paris hotel(the worst city we visited), no separate shower base, after a shower the whole toilet is wet, bad design...we'll blame the French for that!! Other than that lil hiccup, the rest of our stay was super!!! Thank you 81 Osaka.

great location in Chinatown for food especially!

the space in the room is quite narrow so we have to close and open the luggage each time when we before/after we use it.

room is very clean, service is very good. it is very near to all the main cities. room was cleaned daily. the very helpful service team is there. they helped us with many of our needs and information.

Very clean budget accommodation. Next to downtown. The rooms are tiny but can't complain much... Singapore is an expensive country.
