The surrounding neighbourhood is noticeably dirtier and more rundown than most other parts of Singapore. It may give a negative first impression, especially for first-time visitors.

We were looking for a room to sleep while waiting on our flight the next day. The Ibis was the best value on offer at the time. Check in was quick, about 20min from the airport and the hotel stored our bags and cases to save us taking them up to the room. Staff were helpful in organizing a taxi for the airport in the morning. Lots of food options located within a 2 min walk from hotel. Ideal for an overnight stay.

The room provided us with somewhere to sleep and shower for the night. It was a small room and would have been tricky to stay for 3 or 4 nights due to limited space and no wardrobe. Beds and pillows were a little on the hard side for my liking.

The hotel is clean and also the staff is great. Wifi is working althought it could be better and the lifts are also working well. There are food stalls nearby. The Aljunied rrain station is around 10 minutes walk and the buses as alternative are also close by.

It is not really something significant but it would be best if you are alone in the room because it can be really cramped. There is no food nor vending machine within the hotel itself so it is best to bring. Also, you have to bring your own water if you are not keen in using the tap (although tap is fine as well).

The location is great for access to the airport and lots of eateries. Its not the ‘Silver city’ part of Singapore (Geylang) but thats fine with me as the area is very interesting and great access via the MTR or buses close. Its an easy 10 minute walk to Aljunied MTR station. The food options are readily accessable like Old airport road food centre a short walk.(10 minutes) Not 50m from the hotel are great food options also. Really enjoyed my 3 nights at Ibis budget Ruby! Finally, all staff were very friendly especially Jega, Hwee Yee and TQ.

It's great value for money given that it's a private room in Singapore! The neighborhood of the hotel is near the red light district, but I wouldn't discount what it has to offer. There are numerous fantastic restaurants nearby and it gives a glimpse to alternative visions of Singapore. The MRT station is not faraway and everywhere is connected in Singapore. The check in process was smooth and I had no issues during my stay.

The room is small, fitting only the beds; there isn't space to splay out my suitcases. It's definitely a tight squeeze for three people so I wouldn't stay longer than a few days, but this space was perfect for budget travelers looking for some privacy.

The staff was so nice and friendly! All of them were just lovely. We arrived 04 AM and they were waiting for us with a smile and great service. The neighborhood is said to be in the “red light district” but we felt 100% safe and it was so easy to move around, get food and public transportation was super convenient!

The rude guests who were so nasty to puke in the elevator! They should be punished. Poor staff had to clean it up. Some people are just like animals and don’t know how to behave. The hotel itself was more than what I expected for a low budget hotel.

Stayed at Ibis Budget Ruby Hotel in Singapore, and overall it was an okay experience. Luckily, I got a room with a window, and the facilities were decent for the price. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.

One thing that could definitely be improved is the water service. For the price, the hotel could have provided water bottles or at least a water dispenser on each floor. Having to take the lift down to the lobby every time just to refill water was inconvenient, especially since water is an essential need. Other than that, everything was fine. Just be aware that the rooms are quite smaller than you might expect from the photos. Good for a short, budget stay if you’re not planning to spend much time in the room.

Staff were very nice and helpful Specially May ( she had an excellent customer service skills) Also The Cleaning Lady Jen refreshed my room nicely Every single day we return to our room from touring Singapore, my room was replenished. The room and the bathroom were always so nice and clean

Lobby Glass Front door needs attention (hand prints all over ) 4 days stayed never once cleaned outside sitting tables and floor needs to be cleaned and refreshed Front sitting/check in area Need plants or a bit touched up to make it more comfortable for your guests
