We have visited the Mandarin Oriental many times and this is the first time since the renovations. It is now much brighter and colourful. The staff in the Club Lounge are excellent

We felt that our Club Room was very small with little room to store clothes. The new bathrooms seem to have taken more room than before. If you are travelling further than Singapore and have more luggage, then there was no storage space in the room to put suitcases.

All standard things were well met. Check-in was especially smooth.

Late checkout was an issue, asked for 1.30. They said No! only 1 pm is available. I doubt 30 minutes is a big deal for them but it was for me, had to cut short an important meeting. They rejected late checkout for even 1 room. Left a bad impression. Also, the concierge was least helpful in arranging airport transfers and reserving restaurants within the property. Bad experience overall.

So good they called it Oriental Being of an age where electronic gadgetry is still fascinating I think it was at the point that I discovered the ‘scene lighting mode’ in my bedroom that I made an audible WOW type gesticulation. This was followed by similar internal noises (so as not to alarm my wife) when I was able to blackout the room from my bedside or switch on night mode so a low light pops on when you inevitably get out of bed in the middle of the night. There’s just not enough space here to rave about the magic toilet! We arrived early at 12.30pm so whilst our room was preparing we went to the buffet restaurant for lunch. The word Buffett doesn’t do the Embu restaurant justice, this is everything but the lovely spread your aunties put on at a christening. The word has several meanings one of which is Japanese for ‘going into battle’. So my tummy and myself certainly rose to the challenge, starters of cold meats salads and freshly baked breads, a main course of curry and roast beef followed by x3 moose’s, bread and butter pudding, ice cream, cheese and biscuits and two cups of tea. I did however feel a sense of loss, from loosing the battle as I was unable to attack, the sushi, Asian buffet, seafood and much more I probably missed. But this is no ordinary war, you get to go again tomorrow at breakfast. But seriously though, this is food of the highest quality maintained and refilled impeccably and displayed immaculately. The design of this place is also wow, with its Disney type lifts and palatial lobby it almost bows to you as you enter. We enjoyed swimming on the fifth floor and used the adjacent gym which was good. I’d really love to balance the review with some areas of improvement for the hotel so perhaps then the free luxurious boxed macaroons we were given in the bedroom could be exchanged in the future for a figgy biscuit or Scottish shortbread to dip in our Supplied earl grey tea.

I stayed 6 days with my kids and all was good with facility ,ı felt safe even my daughters spend some lonely times at all cafes and pool I want to thank to miss sephora from reception , she was allways smiley and helpfull , from concierege miss maria and mr nizman was so helpfull about all my reservations and transport , from mo bar kim and maria was perfect and actually all crew was very motivated and helpfull , also miss MJ was so kind and served us best coffee and cakes :) thanks to all .

There is only one smoking area and ı beleive hotel can designate some more areas for smokers at 5 th floor ( sun bath area near by bar ) which is possible , thats the only point that I did not liked , cause every time ı needed to use elevator to smoke at 1 st floor and it is more carbon foot print then some cigarets ….

The hotel is very well located and the view from the hotel is amazing. The breakfast is good, with plenty of choices. The staff are all very professional and very helpful. The gym are very well equipped.

The restaurant where they serve breakfast could be less cold and they need to put some fresh juice .

Everything! Service was great! The staff even led us to the lift as it’s our first time staying at the property. They gave us free eye mask on the first night, and peppermint tea on the 2nd night. The pool was great too. If there’s more changing and shower room, it would be wonderful. They even served us drinks at the pool! Didn’t expect that.

Will be good if there’s a direct access to Marina Square. There’s a few not so direct route. The first one, you have to cut past the carpark which can be pretty unsafe as we need to be on the lookout for oncoming vehicles. The second one, follow the shelter and walk around the mall which, you will walk past the ventilation duct. And there’s some unpleasant smell coming out from the mall’s ventilation duct. And, the third one, you need to climb up some stairs, which is inconvenient as one of us is pregnant.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental for 3 memorable nights. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with opulence and elegance. The spacious room, adorned with modern decor and breathtaking views, provided the perfect sanctuary. The breakfast buffet was simply amazing as well. A special thanks to Mr. Ganesan for his exceptional service during breakfast. His kindness and professionalism truly enhanced our stay and made us feel like valued guests. We appreciate his efforts and will fondly remember the care he extended to us and our baby. We look forward to returning to create more cherished memories in the future at the Mandarin Oriental.

Facilities and complimentary services were topnotch among the hotels in Singapore! Thanks for great services.

Some staffs offered us an excellent service, but some other staffs weren’t kind and friendly enough. It would be great if the hotel trains all staffs with a same quality of training standard. And, when checking out, some orders(about $150) that I didn’t use were mistakenly charched on my room number. Going forward, I hope that the hotel staffs are more attentive to billing guests. I think they were confused because my room included many complimentary activities and dining service for kid.

We had amazing breakfast experiences at this hotel! The service and the food were exceptional, with a range of options to satisfy any taste. The setting was stunning, with a theme that perfectly captures the essence of Singapore. It was elegant, vibrant, and full of beautiful green and other matching colors, creating a lovely contrast and enhancing the overall atmosphere. The food was exceptional The addition of robots added a fun, modern touch to the experience, my four-year-old son just loved them! Truly, one of the best breakfasts I've had in all my travels- simply spectacular!

Although this is beyond the hotel's control, we did have a high expectations for the views from the swimming pool. Unfortunately, there was ongoing construction, which was, of course, disappointing. This outside of the hotel's responsibility, but it did affect our experience at the pool. As for the rooms, they were generally clean, but more attention could have been given to the cleanliness of the bathroom. there was visible dirt in the drain area of the toilet.
